I purchased a pair of sunglasses from SmartBuyGlasses to use on the yacht and the lens has now peeled off after 12mths. They claim the glasses can’t ever have seawater splashes so no warranty. True? They claim the lens will dissolve if splashed with saltwater – is this true. Surely Persol makes glasses that can be used on the yacht?? I paid for a 2 year warranty and the lens peeled off in 12mths – Will Persol stand by their product .

My wife and I are delighted with our Persol sunglasses.
‘Wish now to purchase Persol prescription reading glasse PO3196V Tailoring Edition,Colour Azure Tortoise, Size 51. Despite numerous emails, searches online, and personal visits to a number of well- know optometrists. All to no avail here in NSW Australia. So disappointing to say the least! Is there anyone out there ( in particular Persol representative’s) who can advise were Persol’s Eyeglasses PO 3196V can be readily purchased within Australia?

Hi, I’m trying to find a pair of your sunglasses in a retail store in Australia but it is extremely difficult to do so. I am thinking about buying a pair of PO3019S in 55 frame but can’t find them in retail stores where I can actually try them on first. I can find them in 52 but they are a bit small for me. I’m really starting to wonder if they are worth pursuing. Your Australia site doesn’t have any contact details, which concerns me, so I have resorted to this.
