Pathetic service from customer care and the KFC app that registers orders 2 hours later but takes the money immediately.. I logged a complaint in February about money that was taken from the kfc app. The store said they had not received any order on their system. Their system was clearly very slow as i placed an order at 7pm and it seems as if the store only received the order 2 hours later as thats when i received a confirmation on my side. Therefore, i had to place and order and PAY AGAIN. all they did was ask me to log a complaint to receive a refund. Few days later i was asked for a bank statement to confirm the payment i made and that i would be refunded within 7-10 days. No feedback every since i sent my statement.
Just had thee most horrible zinger wings bought at Goldman Street branch, Florida. No spice, no salt no thing just crunchy wings. To think I don’t ever buy at KFC, your zinger wings were the only thing that made me to visit KFC I guess not any more.
I bought the double nugget box thinking it has a burger to discover it’s two pieces of chicken, two measly nuggets and chips. Nuggets and chips as dry as a wine cork, just a shame there is no place to attachment like photos. I took a photo of the disaster that was to be my delicious supper. Super let down in my opinion. I also say maybe this time they won’t disappoint me just to be let down again. Let’s just say that KFC is going to be avoided by me for a few years again.
I am so disappointed and frustrated at the customer care service I received. I ordered 2× Nugget box in April, there was something wrong with the delivery so they cancelled. I didn’t get my food or cash back till today they keep sayinga KFC member will contact you. Do not order at KFC if you want your money stolen.
I am also experiencing the same problem – placed an order on 2 May order was cancelled by KFC via the app after debiting my account and have been calling and sending email and trying to contact kfc on every platform for help wasting more money. Is there a place we can escalate the matter further as there is no joy via the contact center or even their social media page?
KFC Hutten Heights Newcastle, ordered at 7pm I’ve phoned customer care twice, on hold for long times, spoke to customer care ladies, then they put me on hold and eventually they drop the call, I’ve tried now sorting this out for over thirty minutes on phone. I’ve sent messages on the KFC app with no reply!
I’m disgusted by the level of disservice from both the contact centre agents and Maponya franchise. I had to drive to the store, which is about 10-15 km from where I live, as my order was not delivered because the “customer service” agents could not resolve my issue and deliberately gave me incorrect contact information. To add insult to injury the lady at the counter was rude and adamant that it was my fault. Never buying at your store again!
I don’t like complaining, but I ordered Kfc from the store in parklands, tableview last night and the chicken never even tasted like kfc chicken. I’m not sure if its the over used oil that changed the flavor but it tasted terrible. Please, I know oil is expensive but then put the price of chicken up and give us a quality product…don’t drop the quality of our expectation.
The worst service I have ever had. I made an order at KFC ebony round about 19:15 and their estimated time was 20:05, later when I tracked the estimated time was 20:35 still delivery was not done. At 20:40 When I called I was told the order was canceled and that was communicated an hour later, no refund made no delivery.
In all the years I have been buying KFC this is the first time I’ve so dissatisfied with the quality of the chicken I bought at your Merensee branch in Richards Bay. The chicken was stale as if you guys are getting rid of your old stock and wait for an elderly person to do that.

For second time in less than a month I have to wait more than 10 minutes for chicken at the Wilkoppies Klerksdorp branch, very bad service. And they forget to give me my pops when I ordered meal for four online.
Your service is disgusting. Whenever we try to order its says sorry fam no drivers available. The delivery service items cannot be collected so why have an offer that we cannot buy. When we call your helpline they dump us onto delivery without even hearing our query. We try and try and try to order after being rejected then we order Nandos or Pedro’s with no problems. What a shocking service from what supposed to be reputable kfc.
Hi we are at KFC Lenasia South and are being denied to charge our cellphones, they decided to switch off the plugs. The worse part is that we did order, it’s not like we only came to charge.
The question is;
Are our rights not being violated?
I am in KFC WONDEROUS IN JOHANNESBURG. I was denied to use a bathroom because I have not ordered anything just yet. I came with my friend she went to the queue to order food then I went to the bathroom then the worker told me that I will not use a bathroom without my till slip. She had no name tag. So I cannot tell her name. It is an old lady and she says it’s a rule
Ordered for delivery online from KFC Newmarket in Alberton and after an hour my food never arrive so I called the store and was told no order showing on their side but I got the SMS saying money was taken from my account. Emailed head office never got a response back so the next day I called in and held on the line for so long just to be told their system is slow. After couple of hours I was given a voucher which I used to reorder. This time got the order confirmation on email saying I will receive my order in 30 minutes so I assumed all is good but after an hour I never received anything so I called the store again and was told They don’t have drivers I can come fetch it myself…. If I was able to I would not have selected delivery I would have selected collect. I am so pissed off with them.
Two days in a row and there’s still issues. This is disgusting customer service.
KFC Potchefstroom Grimbeeck Park – the last 5 times we have ordered via the drive through we have waited more than 40 minutes. This is not acceptable.
Poor customer service for KFC Yarona shopping centre. I received my order after an hour and the food was cold already. The driver doesn’t know how to verify or confirm the person who placed an order. That’s pathetic service and you should train your employees as this would lead to loss of customers.

Was told I would get 2 R25 vouchers because of the late delivery and absent chips. 2 days pass. Nothing. I called customer care. One person didn’t answer – just dropped call. Called again. 10mins later they answer, put me on hold then nothing. I called again finally got hold of someone and they asked who I spoke to etc. Said Buhle or something and they assured me they had sent email to the person. I have yet to hear from them. Absolutely livid. Cost me over R50 airtime. I am outraged at the poor customer support team. I would like something to be done.
Kriel KFC not accepting cards in this day and age, a magnet that endangers their customers. No stock on some food ordered, loiterers harassing clients waiting in line, manager too busy to see clients, poor show KFC, however I think this writing is a waste of time reading the other comments.

KFC white river is pathetic as for the 9th time my order was wrong and when you complain they just laugh at you in store and they do not correct their mistake. Seriously your service is useless.
I ordered food from KFC Wetton. I waited for an hour for my food. When it got to me it was so cold and tasted terrible. The customer care service is terrible as no one except for KFC Wettons manager phoned me to apologize or ask about my experience. Poor service
Went to KFC at Alex Plaza. I had to turn back cause covid protocols are out the window. I swear there were more than 50 people inside a very small space. Just to get inside was a mission. What’s the use of standing at the door with a sanitizer if you don’t follow all covid protocols for restaurants?
The music is so loud, cashier can’t even hear and with an attitude can you speak louder. How can employee ask a client to scream to give an order and refuse to put the music lower. Worcester kfc at the Mall. This is not the first time. Service so bad.
I also purchased kfc from Ferndale. Was unsatisfied and when I lodged a complain they asked for so many details. After all that I get an email from customer care to say they can’t get hold of me so they closed the case!!
KFC Pinehurst, Durbanville, worst service, never has food available. Always look like they about to close anytime of the day. Waiting time 20min or more. Pathetic!

For weeks now, the drive through do not accept card payments. Only cash.
For years now, they place rocks at night so you can’t use the drive through. What is the point of having this service?
I went to the drive through today. There were about 3 cars infront of me and 2 behind me. I waited in the line for about 20-30 minutes I paid and when i proceeded to the next window the lady told me that they’re still preparing the meat and it might take 10 minutes so i should park in the lot and she’ll bring the food to the car. 20 minutes later the food still hasn’t been brought to me. I went in and addressed the situation, the food was just sitting there the entire time.
I just purchased a KFC meal with a large chips. What I got was not even worth a small size. I have taken pictures and weighed the box. Very unsatisfied.
I’ve had 3 issues this year and never complained but it’s like there’s no pride in their work… First they gave me such a slap dash Kitkat krusher, then they gave me the wrong burger after correcting them twice verbally and the cashier reading out the order they still got it wrong! And today burnt chicken pops, can you guys make some effort into providing good food atleast, there’s people who are paying their hard earned money to buy and eat and yet this is the kind of service we get.
Kfc Hillcrest honestly is giving KFC such a bad name!!!! They always get your order wrong their staff truly have an customer service problem they always have something not in stock I have had enough!!!!
