At 11.08 on 28th Feb. i made £7 of purchases from Poundland, Petergate, York. 10 minutes later i realised i had not collected £3 in change. I returned to the store and the assistant had very kindly retrieved my change and put it behind the counter for me to collect. I was most impressed by her kindness and honesty. Apparently when on duty she checks each till and follows this procedure each time change is left. I did notice she was helping 3 elderly people at once and was very patient and pleasant. I hope management at Poundland realise how fortunate they are to have such employees.
