First I need to say I love Moes. I feel that you need to be aware of a situation that occurred today at the Lebanon, Indiana Moes. We tried to enter at 11:40 am. The sign says open at 11:00. There were people in the store but the door was locked. Someone finally came to the door and said the machine went down. I can accept that. We went on and proceeded to order. I ordered a stack. I was told that they didn’t have any of the small shells done. Mind you it was well past opening time and they should have been ready. When the employee started to fry the shells he said the drill wasn’t on so it would be longer. After the fryer heated up he states to put a shell in that was 50 percent molded. It took 50 minutes to complete our order. I then spoke to the manager and she just didn’t care. I want Moes to stay. But I feel that this poor management and lack of concern on the employees part will make Moes just like Bob Evans Restaurant. It closed because of lack of business due to poor management.
Just went into Moe’s here in durhan and tried to order that Monday burrito special that was posted in the window. But I couldn’t do it cuz I didn’t have the app. So I downloaded the app and I still couldn’t do it cuz I had to have the app for a couple days.
Just trying to take advantage of the daily special and save two bucks. So I left. Now here’s the deal. If you don’t make it easy for people to buy stuff, they’re going to get pissed and walk out. I think this marketing idea you guys have needs to be changed. I can tell you we’re pretty tired of giving our personal information all over the place just to find out later your system was compromised.
I was in the Benton Arkansas Moe’s on 1/12/2023. I did not get the employee’s names, but the three guys that served me were very friendly. I wanted you to know that they did a great job and left me with a smile on my face. I ordered carry-out and our food was very good.
I wish I could add photos. I ordered a burrito bowl through Grubhub in Wallingford, CT and before fees, delivery, and tip it was $18.48. This was not a delivery issue it was an issue with the restaurant. I paid for extra meat and what I received was a joke. I also ordered queso which brought my total up to $23 and it was clearly scraped from the bottom with big pieces of burnt goo in it.
I decided to go to Moe’s SouthWest Grill for lunch today, and the person behind the counter was slamming things around and being very intimidating. This Boynton Beach (#858) employee was rude to me, my guest and associate employees. Upon ordering the employee served a rididulous, unsubstainable amount of meat to the tacos and quesidillas. Upon requesting more, we were rudely told, “no, that is what we do”. There were literally 3 little cunks of chicken in the tacos and five beef chunks on the quesadilla. After asking another employee there, “Who is the manager?”, I was told that the rude person, was the manager.
I went to Moe’s in Groton Connecticut. It has to be the dirtiest one I ever been in, only 2 employees working the tables, was was not cleared for us to sit and the soda machine was leaking water. They had a wet soaked towel on the ground to soak up the water, no forks only spoons, paid for queso on my bowl. I don’t know if you guys or restaurant chains do secret shoppers anymore if you do you definitely need to send someone out this Moe’s here in Groton Connecticut.
I got Moe’s to get my free burrito. The poor girl working had to make 3 burrito shells because each one stuck to the grill press. She even sprayed it so that it wouldn’t.
My guy went to one and thought he could get the Moe’s Mondays special, but could not. No one knew at the one he stopped at. Even when I looked in my own app, I noticed you had to be in a completely different area not even where I was from to receive the deal. This is quite confusing.
I ordered from Moe’s in Clifton, NJ. They sent the compete wrong order. We ordered chicken they sent beef. When calling to explain to the manager that my order was incorrect, he did not let me speak. I asked for the order to be corrected he said next time we visit they’ll take care of it. I then asked for a refund which he refused. He tried to blame the deliver service and I said they didn’t make my food. Not that this will make any difference but you should not work in customer service if you refuse to service the customer. He was rude, and refused to refund my money for a wrong and incomplete order.
I went to the Moe’s at the pilot in Sutton Va on 07/19/2022, this place was filthy and the worker looked nasty and unprofessional. The food preparation area behind the counter wasn’t clean at all, there was dried food stains and food where they didn’t clean up after they had prepared an order. The food choices was either low, old looking or empty. The chips and salsa area was filthy, it was so bad they didn’t even ask if I wanted any to go. The store wasn’t busy so they had the time to clean the preparation area if they wanted to. There was no money in the cash register they was giving out quarters and dimes. When cashier told the manager they was out of dollars to make change he acted as if it didn’t matter and did nothing to fix the problem. The customer service was terrible, I have visited this location in the past and it was a whole lot better.
I ate at Simpsonville location today. It was filthy, with the trash falling off the bins because it was so full. Kids standing around texting and nobody gave a rip about the conditions. Workers walked by the filthy counter, salsa bar, and trash bins a dozen times while we were there and did nothing. The food prep area was filthy, and you need to make a visit to that location if you care about your reputation ? I love Moe’s, but I’m not returning to that store …I’m out.
I have been to the Moes on Mahan in Tallahassee frequently the past couple of months and there is always the same staff. The manager is nice, but the one female who prepares our food is the epitome of poor service. She doesn’t greet, she doesn’t smile, and gives us scraps of food every time which ends up shorting me on what I pay for. I feel like I’m inconveniencing her every time I come in. I won’t be returning to this location.
I went to Moe’s today in Amherst, NY on Niagara Falls Blvd. The grills they cook on are filthy. They are stainless steal grills, but the are black and covered with grease and soot from not being cleaned daily. I cannot believe no one is cleaning these grills every night! Very disappointing and unappetizing.
I went to my local Moe’s a couple of days ago. When preparing my order the employees said mushrooms were no longer available. Said “they” had taken them off the menu. Also the local manager said it was a corporate decision.
Is this true? Is this a temporary supply issue? Is it goi g to be fixed and mushrooms be put back on the menu? If not then I plan to take my business elsewhere. Other competitors have not done this.
Can someone let me know the corporate position on this and not the local position?

I went to Moe’s in Fayetteville, GA today and the customer service was awful! The sign on the door said they close at 8pm but they were turning people away at 4pm on a Sunday. They also had almost NO ingredients left and informed me they would no longer be serving MUSHROOMS!!!!? Many Vegans, like myself, come to Moe’s and mushrooms are big on our list. Why are mushrooms being discontinued???? You should train your employees like they do at Chick-fil-A. It’s ALL about the customer experience, that’s why people don’t mind waiting in their long lines all the time. They make you feel important as you spend your money! At this rate you’ll lose many loyal customers to poor customer service. I probably won’t receive a reply but I hope someone in customer training, at least reads this before Moe’s disappears like Ruby Tuesdays, Quiznos, etc.
I was at the Moe’s at 75 River Road in Edgewater, NJ. An employee had a small cup with queso. She was using her hands in with no gloves in the bin where the chips are and dipping them in the queso and eating. I asked to speak to a manager and she tells me she’s the manager. I addressed my concern because she was sticking her hands in the bin of chip. The chips they serve to the customers and she tells me ok…. I asked her for her name and she said it was Maloney. Which I think she lied. I asked her for her regional managers number she said go on line and look it up. I’m glad the place has cameras.
I have been a longtime Moes customer. Ever since they started in Connecticut. Last Sunday evening I visited your store in Windsor , Ct, as I watched them prepare my chicken burrito I thought , “ wow ,they are cutting back on their portions I guess with inflation “. There was one scoop of chicken only a fair amount of rice , and the black beans looked strange . Normally they drain them with slotted spoon. It ended up a very small burrito .
When I got home I realized that not one ingredient was hot. The black beans were like paste . Even the cheese was still in its original form, not even melted . Entire burrito was cold. I threw it away .
I started eating the tortilla chips. They were cold and they had no crunch to them at all. Actually biting into them they were like taffy! They were not even cooked . I had trouble breaking them apart.
Apparently you have lost control of your business. You are only as strong as your weakest link.
Just left Moes in Port Charlotte Florida. SO disappointed. This was at 6 pm on a Saturday night and they were out of half of their ingredients. No mushrooms. No peppers. No guacamole. No pickle. When asked if they had anymore he just mumbled they were out. They are currently putting a Chipotle in our town- Moes better step up their game.
Our family frequently has visited Moe’s often. Generally, we go to the Summerville, SC store, like we did tonight. First I placed an online order and paid for it hours in advance. After leaving to go to pick up my order I got an email that I saw when I parked in the parking lot. The email was sent 20 min before my order was to be picked up, so of course, I didn’t see it until I was at the restaurant. The email said there was a problem with the order, stated “The ordering system was not able to transmit an order (#8132745405775872) scheduled for today. There was an issue communicating the order to the in-store system.
That means:
• This order has NOT been sent to the store in the usual manner.
• Orders paid by credit card will be automatically refunded. Please note a charge may appear on your credit card statement as ‘Pending’. This will be released following your bank’s standard hold time.
• The store has been notified of the order details through a backup system but the system has not received confirmation that your order was received
Frustrated, but still hungry I proceeded to the store to replace my order. I spoke with the person at the store who also apologized and said I’ll make your order now because we did not get the order. I said okay, will my card be charged twice, and he said likely, but you will get the online order refunded by tomorrow. Reluctantly I agreed. Finally, I got my order and headed home. About halfway through my wife’s food, she found a black or dark brown hair in her food. Now I’m mad! This is not okay. So, I get on the phone to call the restaurant I picked up the order at and it was a recording that answered and put me on hold, after about 2 minutes the line goes dead. Not once or twice, but five times I called and five times I got hung up on..by a recording!!!
First I would like to say that my family has always enjoyed Moe’s. Today we visited Moe’s in Carrollton Ga and as we were eating the employees (particularly a young lady, hair in bun with long fake eye lashes) was using very loud foul language. We overlooked that but as we were cleaning our table there were no customers in line and I watch the same young lady eat something off the food bar. As she was eating eat some fell on top of the bar and she threw it back in the food to be served. I feel that needs to be addressed immediately. Also it was my observation that the overall restaurant could use an overall cleaning. It just seems crazy that places act like they are attempting to take Covid precautions yet we see things like this. I am not a Covid freak for sure but this is really bad.
