I love shopping at Hobby Lobby but I want to know what has happened to the 50% off sales. It’s not like it use to be and the 40% coupon to use on one item.
I use to get floral, ribbon and several other things 50% off but now it’s only 40% off
Please bring back the 50% off sales.
I went to the Hobby Lobby Store located in American Fork, UT. I was looking for some items that I saw previously on the website it was Joie Eggy Go Pods, Set of 2 and the egg slicer after looking several aisles I saw McKay stocking other items and I asked her how often you guys down stock items and she asked me what I was looking for so I show her the pictures on the website and she said I thought I saw those in the back I asked her if she can get sone to me. She said wait here I am going to get them for you, She came back with a container with a lot of the items that I was looking for. I love people like McKay that care for the customers with a big smile and go more that I was expecting.
Today is March 1, 2023, and I shopped at the Sterling Heights, Michigan store. The associate named Charlene was helping me locate an Easter item on the store iPad. Charlene was very helpful in trying to locate what I needed. In the middle of her searching, an irate store shopper approached us and interrupted the conversation. She argued that the store associate wasn’t fast enough in coming up to the front of the store. Charlene politely explained she was trying to assist me and would be happy to help her. The unreasonable woman threw her item down into a cart and said she wanted Charlene’s name and would report her! She stormed out of the store yelling! I was furious that this person would be so nasty and cause a scene. Charlene was trying very hard to work with me and then with her, but that irate woman wasn’t patient or respectful. I want the store manager to know Charlene did her best to accommodate us and was very professional. Thank you, Charlene, for your outstanding customer service!!!!!
I am writing to you regarding an employee in the framing department at your Greenbrier location in Chesapeake VA. His name is Kolbe. I visited during the Christmas rush. The department was overwhelmed, nevertheless, Kolbe was patient, helpful, and so polite. He tried to frame my pictures but the frames, although labeled the same were not the exact same size. He noticed the problem, ordered new frames for me. Once the new frames arrived he mounted my pictures perfectly, helped with my purchases, carried them to the register for me He is certainly is an asset to your store. It was a pleasure dealing with him and I wanted you to know what an excellent employee he is.
I am an avid crocheted. For many years, I have always shopped Hobby Lobby to get yarn supplies and, particularly, new patterns. What an excellent resource for my creativity! I wanted to start a new project last week, so off I went to my favorite Hobby Lobby store on County Line Road in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, always such a great resource! I have spent hundreds of dollars along the way to “support” my hobby!
When I reached the section of knitting and crocheting pattern books, they weren’t there! Well, of course I knew that stores rearrange stock sometimes, so I wasn’t concerned—but could not find them anywhere. Finally I asked a clerk who said, “I am sorry to tell you that we recently told that Hobby Lobby management is no longer going to sell the pattern and instruction books. They will only sell the yarn and crochet/knitting supplies. And we employees are disappointed too.”
Well, add me to the list of disappointed customers. I drove to the Jo-Ann store about a mile away, and there I found a great variety of pattern books and yarn. I found just what I wanted and bought my supplies there—and sadly, I now have no other reason to find myself drawn to Hobby Lobby, even though I was the kind of shopper who inevitably put extra holiday items in my cart! I am disappointed and will check occasionally to see if that great reason for visiting Hobby Lobby is back. Whoever made the decision to remove the very books that give us our ideas and “excuse” to buy more yarn and supplies—should not be in a position to make those decisions.
I was in store #83, Columbia Missouri, I purchased 2 display boxes, they were exactly the same, one was priced $99, the other $79. The cashier, Natalie D, offered both of them to me for the lower price. When I mentioned that I needed 3 but there were only 2, she ordered me another one at the lower price. Now that is terrific customer service and will keep me coming back. Keep up the great customer service Natalie D.
I visited the Easton PA store and had the most unpleasant service by a cashier name Pascilla who was very rude. She was at the return register and with no one on line I asked if she can take me she replied returns only, while walking back to another register she took several customers who did not have returns. For the record I being an African American while the other customers she decided to wait on were white. If she has an issue with serving other ethnic people she should not be working with the public. This was my first time having this issue and hope to not experience this again in this store.
I left your Bozeman, MT store very disappointed the other day. I made a special trip from my home (120 miles round trip) to purchase scrapbooking supplies, in particular for middle school/high school pages. I didn’t find any school days paper, and only a few stickers for Senior year. Our children spend at least 13 years in school. Am I crazy to expect paper, stickers, embellishments to memorialize those years to be readily available? I do not own nor do I intend to buy a Cricut machine. Is Hobby Lobby relying on that system to fill in the void? Please consider stocking what I would consider common themed items for us scrapbookers.
I often shop at this store, Hobby Lobby, in Danville, Ky, on Oct 7th,2022 I had one of the worse shopping experiences ever. I am low vision and am disabled, I went to the fabric dept, and my husband who always helps me stepped away for a few minutes, I was looking at the fabric, and some of the prices I could see and some I couldn’t depend on the print, one bolt I couldn’t see the price so I asked the associate she yells, it’s on the end of the bolt, I said yes I know, I can see it on some but I’m low vision and if the print is small I can’t see it, I should not have to explain myself, she urgently rushes over, takes her pointer finger and taps the end several times and says it’s right there! And walks away, without telling me the price, I said thank you, I have no central vision, but she never responded and went back to stocking shelves. My husband told me the price when he came back to the dept. I’ve never been so humiliated or treated so poorly! Unacceptable. I will never forget this experience. No one with or without a disability should feel like a burden to Hobby Lobby! Do better, not everyone is fully sighted!
I was at the hobby lobby in Matthews Township NC looking for fabric and supplies for my daughter’s Halloween costume. When we got to the fabric desk, my daughter wanted to ring the bell as many kids do. I told her no at first then after she pleaded, I relented and said she could. As soon as she did, I realized that the fabric associate was actually really close by. At first I felt bad but then she ( Linda) snapped at my daughter, my friend and me “ Can’t you see I’m right here!?” I apologized and said “ I’m sorry my daughter just wanted to ring the bell “ .Linda LITERALLY gave us the fiery glare of death and walked away out of sight with another customer she had been helping. We were SHOCKED. My daughter was so upset she ran to a different section of the store so Linda didn’t have to look at her. When Linda came back I informed her my daughter was just a child who wanted to ring the bell and she ( Linda) didn’t need to be so hateful. Linda curtly told me “Well she rang the bell “ . The whole experience ruined what was otherwise a very pleasant day. Hobby Lobby will now be my last ditch effort when I need fabric and /or crafts. Michaels is right across the street and they treat us much better.
