February 27th broadcast on History channel of Histories Greatest stated until the telegraph was invented the fastest a message could be sent was by horse. Not so. The Chinese along the Great Wall and the British Admiralty (navy) for example had flag, fire and/or mirror flashes to communicate much faster than a horse. The best example for the U.S., you don’t have to go farther than the American Revolution and one lantern by land, 2 by sea.
I’m sick of all day Pawn Stars, all day Swamp People and all day Mountain Men. You rarely do any other shows all day. Today, Saturday 11/5/22 started off Swamp People. Then went to Mountain Men. Now it’s Pawn Stars after having that damn show all frigging day yesterday. If I never see Pawn Stars again it will be too damn soon. Some variety please!!!
You really need to work on the sound on your show Mailcall. I’m a fan of the Military History Channel. But I have noticed that the background sound is way too loud. 9:30 central standard time on October 8th . Please look into this problem.
You should do an overhaul on the mountain men you have on the show. My opinion, get rid of the “Joker” guy, the dogs. Shooing the cats away is a sad laugh at best. The crank that watches the Buffalo. Another lame story, and last but but not least, the Urine brothers. Sad excuses for so called Cowboys. People want to see more of people with stories and experience in the mountains.
I signed up to the History channel with great anticipation to watch Theodore Roosevelt. I was surprised and thrilled to see that there was only 1 commercial in the beginning. Well!!! That all changed as the show progressed, so didn’t the number of commercials. Thoroughly disgusting.
