Every time i go into your stores, shelves are bare. Today I shopped at your store and it was a wasted trip. I looked in the stock room and it was full. Only one employee in the store. You upper management needs to do a better job. At my local dg the employees are great and very hard workers and store manager Krystal is amazing (#4950). Can’t sell things if shelves are bare. Everyone is having tough times. Though i bet employees would do overtime to get work done.
I live in Anna Texas and our only Dollar General Store is closing and everyone is very upset about it. Everyone shops at that store and always have since it opened. They are opening one in another town but why drive somewhere else when you shouldn’t have to.
Dollar General what a joke. The rudes employees and dirty stores. I am now on hold for like 1:34 minutes trying to get some help but guess what I got time today. I going to speak with someone.
The store in Portland TN #14340 on S. Broadway is a wreck. You cannot get around the store without having to move unstocked merch around out of your way so you can get what you are needing. This store is always way understaffed and there are a few employees that are just for the lack of a better term lazy asses. Something needs to done before someone gets hurt.
We were thrilled when Dollar General came to Ada, MN (Store #16285) and we keep waiting for the store to get “organized” so that shopping is possible. However, the aisles are blocked with merchandise no matter what day or hour of the day. The store is advertised to be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., which is great. However, that’s not what’s actually happening. Every day from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m. the doors are locked, supposedly to receive freight and stock shelves. This work should be done after hours rather than shutting the store down for 5 hours in the middle of each day. People travel from the country to shop, but drive up to 20 miles to find the store closed when it’s advertised as being open. I used to work at Walmart and I know there is a better way to run your business.
I’m traveling almost all over the country and use the coupons in the app every Saturday. Since a few weeks I realized that the online coupons are not working anymore. The interesting thing about that is, I became aware of some odd things. First in every store I was and had this issue, there was no manager on site. Second, the employees all acted the same when confronted. If you caused a long line they all of a sudden took out a paper coupon. And every time I asked if I can see the display of the register (you can not see how they do the prices and discounts till you paid) they were always busy finding an excuse to not let me take a look at the display. They tell you something about how much store discounts you received, but always acting like they don’t know what your talking about.
I’m complaining about how store #15137, Franklinton, LA is a chaotic wreck. This store looks like a earthquake hit it. You can’t go down any aisle without moving stuff out of the way. There is more merchandise on the floor than on shelves. You need to have someone be a secret shopper or have district Mgr. make a surprise visit. I worked there at one time but this is really BAD. I understand about freight days but this is way beyond that. Come look for yourself. If this is the image DG is wanting, then shame on y’all.
I’ve been using DG coupons for as long as I can remember. My telephone number works in store. The problem is that the app is not recognizing my email nor phone number. I don’t have access to my digital coupons. Please help.
