I received a mail from Jet Airways on 27th February, 2019 that my flight scheduled Confirmation #SMJPWB for 15th March, 2019 stands cancelled. In the mail I was asked to contact their nearest office (address not mentioned where to contact) for next best possible way to get refund or information.
I am their privilege customer no. 277906230.
I tried my best the whole day on 27th and 28th. Feb. 2019 till 12 Noon but all my efforts have gone waste as their number always remain busy.
Now I want my refund (complete refund including Taxes and surcharges) which they charged from me while booking the ticket.
Their customer care phones remain busy the whole day, they have not provided any email id where customers can contact, THEN WHERE WE APPROACH THEM. If they say, their office, who will bear the cost of to and fro conveyance and the time wasting on travelling and discussion.
Who knows when we will go to their office, what will happen when their staff will not cooperate or will ask certain details/things to bring for the settlement – means again to suffer the same.
Why they are not contacting the customers when they have their contact details and make them clear what requirements are needed to get the refund or rescheduling of journey.

I have flown Jet Airways for the last 4 years without an issue. This time, the interaction was the worst I have had with any airline. Because you did not trust my American Visa card when I made the original booking on jetairways.com I had to call the company to verify it for you. During that time the fare I had to pay went up by about $200. You notified me on March 15 that you cancelled my original flight, Flight 372 on April 16, 2019 and put me on Flight 366. This was not acceptable. My colleague was able to change his flight at no additional cost. (Mr. Peter Bilello, President of my company.) I spent over 4 hours on hold over three different phone calls trying to get the same for myself. Finally, I gave up and modified my flight on jet airways.com. It took multiple tries on jetairways.com for it to even accept my change, although I have still not received electronic notification. However, the new flight cost over $600 more than my original booking, which I think is unfair since Jet Airways decided to stop flying that route at that time. Please let me know what you plan to do to address this issue.
Since I wrote that note, they cancelled PART of the itinerary I just booked. Now the number is not even reachable from the US!

We had purchased two tickets on 18 Jan 2019 at 4.08 PM to travel from Delhi to Leh on 15 feb. 2019 vide PNR NO TSSOZX thinking that the jet Air Ways has a good reputation and suitable care of his customers. Where as on the scheduled Date i.e 15 feb 2019 at 6 am we reported at Delhi airport to travel from Delhi to Leh paying an amount of Rs 700 to an ola from residence to air port. at the airport we came to know at the counter that the flight has been canceled. The officials behaved rudely and dictated terms instead of providing facility to its customers they said that we have canceled the tickets and now you can get back your money. we were not in a position to get back the money of a ticket purchased one month earlier we requested to give a ticket through your company or on any other flight so that we may not suffer because it is the mistake of jet airways. where as all the air lines have right to cancel the ticket subject to provide another ticket instead of returning the cost forcefully.
where as we had not been informed earlier by the company or by the concern dealers well in time.
After a long discussion with the officials of your company one among them and a female member assured that they will pay the cost of ticket where ever you may purchase.
As the company has canceled the tickets purchased one month earlier when the rate of tickets where enhanced by all other air lines including your company with out informing us either on phone or through e mail, both where available with your dealer. During the discussion your officials had asked us to submit the cost of tickets purchased by us further a responsible person of your department had given an E mail ID which is not functional or which is not available

So we appeal that the cost amounting Rs. 35620 vide PNR No Kd3ssx (go air) dated 17-02-2019 from Delhi To Leh. may be paid to us as assured by your officials.
we further state that the already paid amount may be deducted. we are only claiming for the difference.
where as the amount already paid has not been returned back to our account numbers after laps of seven days.
we humbly request to pay the difference. other wise we will file a case at High Court for suitable injunction.

I am a frequent flyer of your airways and always prefer Jet over others until, 01.02.02019 where I had a horrific experience, humiliation, face loss and trauma.
Request you to draw your immediate attention towards the incident as narrated below:

From Kolkata to Amsterdam via Mumbai and London.

On starting of my journey from Kolkata, I have been issued three Boarding Passes.
Kolkata- Mumbai
Mumbai – London (Heathrow)
London – Amsterdam.
But when I was about to board the flight for London from Mumbai on 02.02.2019, I was DEBOARDED stating I don’t have valid visa for London as I am having Schengen Visa.
On this I told if required I am ready to get my transit visa in that airport, which normally happens and is the process. But your staffs were so adamant they didn’t speak or were ready to listen to me. I was harassed badly and have been DE boarded from flight forcefully in front of all passengers.
My questions if so:
1. Why the tickets were issued via London, when my destination is London?
2. How come I was issued boarding passes of all the three flights?
3. How come I was cleared by Immigration in all the airports?
My entire Europe trip was scheduled and all the onward bookings were done accordingly.
I was in real trouble, somehow after repeated request in your ticket counter they told they cannot reschedule my flight, I need to speak to customer care for that. After lots of waiting and tries finally I managed to speak to a tele executive who did the new tickets for me on a direct flight but for which I had to Pay Rs 46500/- extra.
I am seriously grieved and shattered to see this, as my trip was scheduled having NO choice I had to repay. Stay in a Hotel in Mumbai for the whole day and again board at 2am next day.
In this regard, I sincerely request an investigation and take necessary corrective action on this and compensate me of my troubles and traumas and the Extra money which I had to pay.

I am ashamed of the way Jet airways has behaved with me,I was on a
connecting flight to Dubai on a jet flight 0508 on the 3rd of Jan that was
yesterday as you know it was delayed due to fog for two hours and later
developed a technical snag which delayed it further for a total of 7 hours.
I missed all my connecting flights from Dubai and there I was stranded in
Dubai. I approached the Jet airways representative and he refused to help
me saying the ticket was not on a single booking reference.
It was a fault of your airline that caused me to miss my flights and your
people just refused to help me out.
Like I said I am very ashamed of this,my office has cancelled all business
with Jet airways in the future and I will publicise this horrendous act that has
Caused me much inconvenience and hassle.
Jet Airways is advertised as world class but believe me you guys need to revisit your services and the way you opearate and will find out that this is just a myth as this airline is in the hands of people who don’t give a damn.

Extremely difficult to talk to your customer care as it does give option to talk to an operator. Very frustrating. Why can not you guys keeps things simple.

Whether we have to collect checked baggage from Mumbai and customs checking to be done.And there after baggage will have to be transferred by us only to domestic air port.Please clarify what help your air lines would offer to us.Whether Jet air ways would do custom checking and transfer of baggage to domestic air port at Mumbai!please clarify your arrangement in case.We are senior citizens and worried about it.Your reply would be appreciated

Dear Jet Airways Representative,
Just to inform you that we were travelling from Guwahati to Doha on 2nd September, 2018. Our ticket number: – 5892134714036, 5892134714032, 5892134714033, 5892134715497 (Total 3 adults and 1 infant).
After presenting all our required documents and verified it by international boarding pass personal, the international boarding pass for the same was issued from Guwahati airport itself. On arrival at Delhi airport, while boarding our flight from Delhi onwards, airport immigration did not allow one of my traveler to pass through (Miss BHABANI DEVI, Ticket No.:- 5892134714036), as she was holding an ECR stamp and was planning to visit Doha on “Visa on Arrival”.
When approached the immigration officer to resolve this situation, the immigration officer questioned to Jet Airways duty manager that how come international boarding pass was issued to miss ……. And were allowed to travel from Guwahati itself. If this was the case that ECR passport holder is not allowed to travel, then at Guwahati itself the JET airways should not issue the international boarding pass upto Doha.
From Guwahati the boarding pass was issued so that’s why we proceeded to travel ahead. As far I know it’s updated in all airways system the procedures of travelling for a passenger weather ECR or ECNR passport holder. Then how come the boarding pass was issued?
In this scenario our flight from Delhi onwards to Doha was missed, when I approached to Jet airways duty manager and explained her that this fault was itself by Jet Airways, so duty manager agreed that reimbursement of tickets will be given.
I am trying to call the Jet airways customer cares service but I am not getting any positive feedback from any of the representative.
Note:- we are frequent flyer for Jet Airways (9W150110951, 9W202664943, 9W271273203) and depending on our previous flying experience with Jet Airways we booked our travelling plans with Jet Airways always and for the first time this was my worst experience by Travelling with Jet Airways.
Hope this time I get a quick and positive response for the above subject.
This is a request placed on behalf of my Uncle, he lost his luggage through Jet Airways since June 12, 2018(today being Aug 13- 2 months). We tried to contact and email Jet airways several times, but last email we received was a reply on Aug 5th stating that the Baggage Claim Department will update us on our lost luggage. Poor response and communications, This is taking way too long and it is frustrating.

I request for compensation as I booked an expensive direct flight from Paris to Chennai to reach immediately for a friends marriage!!!
But instead Jetairway had technical problems with their flight and I had to wait for nearly 40 hours in the Paris airport until they got me a flight that took me around the world – Via Singapore to reach Chennai. The service was pathetic and this needs to be compensated for all the delays for making me miss my best friends marriage which won’t happen again!!! I paid extra to take this direct flight instead of booking any other flight and this is the result?!?! A long 40 hours wait and then replaced with a really loooooong flight of 15 hours to Singapore and then 5 hours break and then 4 hours flight from Singapore to Chennai nearly 24 hours journey for a flight which was supposed to be just about 10 hours!!!

This is to bring to your attention an unpleasant experience that my husband and I had to encounter thanks to your rude, inefficient and arrogant staff at the Check-in counter at Bangalore airport.
Here are the details:
On 16th July 2018, my husband and I were booked on the Bangalore-Coimbatore flight 9W 889 departing at 10.25 am. From Coimbatore we were to drive to Ooty for which we had booked a taxi with full prior payment.
We had done online check-in a day before and paid additional Rs.1000/- for preferred seats 9A and 9C.
We reached Bangalore airport at 9.15 am and did the Kiosk Check-in. Since we had two bags to be dropped, we inquired with the Jet staff who told us to stand in the common queue even for a baggage drop. There were only two counters functioning at snail’s speed and after a while a lady staff manning one of the counters got up and walked away apparently accompanying a VIP, leaving just one counter to attend to a mile long queue of passengers. I asked several times to the Jet staff who were standing there whether I could just drop my bags, but was told each time that we should stand in the queue.
When we finally reached the single operating counter around 9.45 am, the lady manning it told us, to our shock, that it was too late and bags had already been loaded and that we cannot board the flight as now we are offloaded and our tickets are cancelled. When we explained to her that we were very much in the queue and were categorically told to keep standing in the queue, she said that they had made three announcements for the Coimbatore flight and we could have come forward. No such announcements were made – this is a total lie ! We are not hard of hearing and were anxiously looking at the counter all the time we were in the queue. The lady then told us to speak to another staff who was manning the stand-by counter and said that she could help us. We went and pleaded with her, but she rudely shooed us away saying our tickets are cancelled. She just moved her attention to people in the stand by counter – so this was the usual modus operandi of Jet staff, to cancel tickets, on some pretext or other, and offload legitimate passengers holding boarding passes, to accommodate stand -by customers.
We were left standing helplessly with no idea whom to approach for help. We then went to the Jet Ticketing office to see if we could be put on the next flight. The lady called Arya, took our boarding passes, tore the airline counterfoil and handed the boarding passes to us saying these are no longer valid and we would have to buy fresh tickets. I don’t know what business she had to tear off the counterfoil, but obviously it was done with mala fide motive. We checked about the next flight to Coimbatore which was as late as 5.00 pm. Another staff at the Jet ticketing office told us that there was an Indigo flight at 1 pm.
We then purchased tickets for the Indigo flight 6E 317 at the cost of Rs.13,682/-. We also lost the taxi fare from Coimbatore to Ooty and had to re-book another taxi. By the time we reached our hotel in Ooty, it was late evening.
Tell me frankly, why did we have to go through this ordeal and start our holiday on such a sour note ? Does Jet Airways get any perverse delight in harassing passengers, making them lose money and giving them tension and anxiety ? Why should passengers be humiliated and spoken to rudely ? Time and again we have heard reports of bad behavior of Jet staff (I may add, particularly female ground staff), but the airline is immune to the complaints and lets the staff not only get away but be emboldened further to harass and humiliate passengers. This is a service industry and customers surely can expect to be treated with respect and courtesy ? Does the Airline not realize why it is losing its reputation and business ? I see on the Jet website irate customers calling Jet “lousiest airline”, “cheats” “thieves” and other expletives.
I don’t know whether my above-reported experience will be given heed to or just thrown into the trash bin. I still felt it necessary to bring it to your notice. I am hoping good conscience will make you investigate into the complaint and initiate action against the errant staff.
I know that I will not be reimbursed by Jet for the cost that I have had to incur needlessly because of your staff or be compensated for the mental agony that my husband and I have been put through.
But I would appreciate a line confirming that my grievance has been looked into and the errant staff have been issued a warning, unless of course the staff is only following the training given to them and this is Jet’s corporate culture. Shameful indeed !
