I returned from Ahmedabad to Chicago on November 8-2022. When I picked up my luggage on Chicago Airport, one of my bag was completely destroyed. Immediately I complaint to air staff in custom and they filed my complaint and gave me copy of my complaint and she said someone will contact you in 2 to 3 weeks. It’s been almost more then 3 and half months passed, during this time I called air india several times and provided all proof whatever they asked me. Still no reply.
I have not yet received my luggage. I was travelling AI127 and landed in Chicago on 7th Feb 2019. I tried reaching Air India several times but there is still no response. Worst airlines. Please do not travel.
Their own employees are not having any information. They kept me in a slot saying Air India baggage department will call you twice but I did not receive any call back from them. It is more than 48 hours and have not have received my luggage.
The office address has changed.

I am writing to thank and express our gratitude for the excellent service we received when we traveling to India on April 17,2017 following the death of my mother. We learned about my mother’s passing at 6.30 a.m
on Sunday and wanted to travel the same day flight AI 102 leaving at 1.30 p.m. We live four hour driving distance from the Ohare Airport.
We require ticket on line and booking agent spent almost 30 minutes with
me on phone and making sure that I got tickets.
When we started driving to Chicago, we encountered heavy traffic due to Easter and felt like we will miss the flight with a non refundable ticket.
Air India’s ground staff stayed with us during our traffic hassle and issued us on line boarding passes, luggage tags and awaited at arrival gate to escort us through the Security and made every effort to put us on the flight. As we entered the doors were closed.
We want to express our gratitude for helping us when we were going through a difficult moment in our life.
Don’t use Air India for any of your travel purpose. F…..g on hold for 2 hrs and still waiting to change travel dates.Horrible customer service. Feeling very sad for the management.
heyyyy i wanna reschedule my tickets from Sept 16th 2012 to June 24th 2012. in Flight no AI 126 (Chicago to Delhi).
how would i know if is there any seat ? And how would i get confirmation about that? what are the procedure ?
Do not waste time calling at 1-800 number. The people are very rude and they wont help.. Worst customer service ever.. Never ever gonna take Air India again..
How much weight is allowed in air india’s flight from St.louis to Ahmedabad?
Thankyou.
I’m trying to find out how to use points for an upgrade. I currently have 26,800 points and want to see if I can get an upgrade for an upcoming flight in Feb. from Chicago to Calcutta.
yes you can
Is there any way to find out if my wife and Kids have boarded the flight Ai0126.
I can track the flight but I dont now if i can check their status..
Thanks,
Avinash
why dont you call the Air India helpline?
my tickets are booked for return travel from Chicago to Delhi by flight AI 0126..How can I get preferred seat before travel?
you can do it during boarding
I hold a return ticket to Delhi from Ohare, Chicago on 25th October flight Number AI 126. I was assured at the time of booking tickets that on our return we will be treated as Transit passengers and that our Immigration formalities and customs check will be at our final destination , i.e. Chennai and that our baggage will be directly checked in to destination Chennai.
Please confirm that this is correct.
I am asking this because I heard recently that two passengers(friends of ours) were subjected to Immigration and Customs check in Delhi itself .
What exactly is the procedure please?
We may need wheelchairs at Delhi. Where do I book this requirement?
Your quick response will be appreciated.
it is best to confirm details on immigration and transit directly from the Air India customer support…as of the wheelchair requirement at Delhi airport..you can mention this to the staff of Air India..or once you arrive at the airport..just reach the help desk and they shall arrange it for you
If you have the same fight from Chicago to Chennai (Airindia) then you will do your Customs in Chennai. But if you have a Domestic fight from Delhi to Chennai then you clear your Customs in Delhi…Hope this helps you have a safe fight…
Where and whom do i cantact to findout if one of my cousin has boarded the flight today at 2:45pm…
the airline of course :)
I am picking up someone from your flight #127 on 8/29/11 and
can not find web site for arrivals, please advise.

Hi! I came into the U.S. on Air India on June 7th, and am have a return ticket which is open. As per pre-booking, I am scheduled to leave the U.S. from New York after ascertaining availability of a seat, and accordingly booking my return.
Wanted to ask: Since I am travelling in the diff. places in the U.S. and visiting family and friends; is there any possibility of requesting if my return back to Mumbai can be from Los Angeles, California, instead of New York? I am still working out my itinerary of visits, hence this request.
Will be grateful to know the best solution. And what is the contact details for your New York/California offices? My open ticket to return is valid a year.
Looking forward to your best suggestion.
