Hi,
I bought an airfryer less than a year ago, and the handle broke, and I misplaced my slip, and is not able to return it to the store where I bought it, I am very disappointed in the flimsiness of the handle, and I am a Philips fan. Now I am unable to use this product due to this, very disappointed….
To everyone at Philips South Africa.
I recently had the need to interact with your Customer Services; I was helped by a gentleman named Bobby Hambi.
He went over and above anything I ever experienced in a Customer Services division.
I want to personally thank him and applaud Philips for having such individual in their organization.
Once again, thank you.
I’m a regular user of Philips products.Currently I’m in possession of two (2) electric shavers, namely AT600 and AT610 respectively.
At present, both blades/shaving heads are worn out and need to be replaced. I’m residing in Windhoek, Namibia and don’t have any idea where to knock for assistance.
Can you please advise me accordingly?
Thanks
Kennedy

Good day, I was blessed with a Phillips electric pressure cooker less than a year ago, I have noticed that the Teflon is coming off on the exterior of the Teflon bowl which is placed inside the cooker!
As I wash this with a cloth and not any form of abrasive scourers, I would like to know if this can be replaced as it falls within the guarantee!
Good day
I bought a Phillips Jamie Oliver food processor Star White & Horizon Blue from Take a lot 30 Nov 2014. A year later I experienced problems with the speed setting . speed 1 (slower) was the same as speed 2 (Faster)I phoned Take a Lot and was told that the guarantee just expired . I took it to see if it can be repaired , but they say it is a faulty switch that cannot be replaced. I am very disappointed because i cannot afford a new one now . Can you please advise if it can be fix.
Regards
Colleen
Hi. My maid discarded the rubber ring inside my blenderHR2013. Please advise about a replacement. Product is totally useless without it.
Await your response urgently.
On 26 Jan I bought and paid for 2 electric toothbrush heads through a Philips agent in Cape Town because they are not available in pharmacies. I was told they would be delivered in 2 weeks. After two enquiry calls I was told Philips had not delivered them and probably would not deliver them. I tried to call Philips direct for over 30 minutes, without being able to speak to anyone who could advise or assist. I think Philips wants customers to buy a new brush rather than just the heads. I think their total disregard for customer satisfaction ensures I will avoid their products in future. Annoyed!
Hi
I purchased a Philips PowerLife steam iron on 19/06/2014 from Macro Springfield Park, Durban. It worked perfectly until a few weeks ago when the iron was switched on, it switched off almost immediately. Since it was still under guarantee I took it to Macro for repairs on 01/02/2016.
On 15/02/2016, i received a call from Macro stating that the iron has not been repaired because Philtec , Pinetown had refused to repair it as the iron had been dropped.
This iron was the most expensive iron that i had purchased so i was the only one in my household who used the iron and i can guarantee you that the iron was never dropped. I have tiled floors and if the iron was dropped, there would have been visible damages to the iron. When i left my iron for repairs the iron had no visible damage. How do i know if somewhere along the way to repairs, the iron was dropped?
I am deeply disappointed with the service or lack thereof and i will not be purchasing any Philips product ever again…and so will my family and friends!!
I cannot believe that in order for you’ll to get out of your obligations, an excuse such as “the iron was dropped” can be made!! I am not just disappointed but furious as well!!
I have purchased a philips air fryer XL, from Kloppers George, I asked Kloppers if they stock the rack and baking tin for this model, Kloppers informed me that the can only get for the smaller air fryer and that philips do not have stock for the XL model, can you please advise where I can purchase in the George area, a rack and baking tin for the XL model
kind regards
Mike

I bought a Senseo coffe machine. The pod holder for 1 cup is missing, and where can I buy the coffee pods (on-line) in South Africa?
I plan to buy a Phillips Air Fryer asap. The two choices available are the Black HD9220/24 or the White HD9220/44. Apart from the colour difference, do these two models have different specs. Are they old models?
My husband is very unhappy with the Philips Shave RQ1175 that he bought 2 Feb 2013. The shaver does not shave properly. He still has half his beard left after using the machine. This is the 3rd shaver he has had and the worst!
The previous shaver was working very well until one of the knobs that holds one of the 3 blades in place & rotates it, was damaged on the plane from the UK. We were told by the local agent that the part in no longer available and thus had to buy a new shaver.
We decided to go for one of the top of the range and now this does not shave.
Please could you advise us on why this new product does not do a close shave and why there are no part available for the old product (HQ9190 7A 507111039 Smart Touch XL)
IN THE MEANTIME HE HAS BOUGHT ANOTHER CHEAPER PHILIPS (R599). This shaver is shaving far better than the expensive on mentioned above.
I trust that you will inform me of the way forward to solve these problems.
Kind regards
Eve

Hi I love philips products and I have for approximately the last twelve years always used Philips dvd players. I am so happy with Philips no noise and no problems. I am looking to purchase a new Philips dvd player and I can not seem to find them anywhere only bluerays and I still have an old tv that is not blueray compatible. I really do not want to change to another brand as I have used others in the past and was not happy! I understand dvd players are going out and blurays are coming in but my tv has not kicked the bucket yet! Please could you help me in locating any philips dvd players I am in Pietermaritzburg. Thank you so much.
Hi Candice your question was posted 7 months ago, so I guess you have had replies by now.
There are still many regular DVD players available, though possibly not in the Philips range.
Nevertheless, I think you will find (or will have found)that Blu-ray players will also play DVDs (and, possibly, even CDs). You should discuss this with a knowledgeable dealer.
I hope this helps you
Dear Philips Customer Care
We bought the Blackmodel Airfryer on 14/04/2013 at Game in Cresta, Johannesburg. On opening the box we discovered that a small but crucial part The separator was missing. This was very disappointing as we were keen to start using this highly recommended appliance. Please could you respond to this e mail telling me how to access this part or even buy it.
Yours sincerely
DrHelen Clark
How long is the warranty on Phillips Blenders? I bought mine in Dec 2011 and its now having several problems. Where to go for the repairs in Port Elizabeth area?
Good Day!
Is it possible to repair a leaking HD 4665 Cordless kettle? It is leaking from one of the windows on the side. It has not been damaged – only normal use.
Thank you

Please would you let me know if the Philips PD9030 Portable DVD Players are available in South Africa – or if any other Philips car DVD players are available.
Thank you

As point of interest I have a Philips “midi” TV purchased from A Hyam & Co in Cradock, Eastern Cape in 1979 that is still in daily use. All that has ever gone wrong is the on/off switch. that was sticking. All that was needed was a good clean. It will be interesting to see how long this 33 year old TV will still work
I have a Philips Phillishave rechargeable shaver. The battery has packed up. Where can I send the shaver to have the battery replaced and what will it cost, more or less? K.G. Wolf. Carletonville Gauteng. Near Potchefstroom.
KETTLE
About 18 months ago I bought a kettle costing over R500 from MACRO in Montague Gardens. It was a very “funky” kettle with a Perspex “window” in the lid and a blue light came on when you switched it on.
Within the first year – I had to send it in for repair because the Perspex lid developed a hole in it. Your Parow Servicing centre managed to fix it – but when I started using the kettle again I realized that it had developed a leak in the bottom – which had not been there when I took it in for the lid to be repaired.
I returned the kettle (at great inconvenience) to the Parow Servicing centre – who immediately told me that they could not repair the leak – which I found extremely strange. This was the most expensive kettle I have ever bought – and it lasted me the shortest time of any of the kettles I have owned over the past 40 years. I am extremely unhappy about this and find it most unsatisfactory and bad service on the part of Phillips to say the least. Needless to say, I shall never again buy a Phillips kettle if this is the standard of service – or rather, lack thereof.
SCALE
About 6 years ago I bought a HR 2388/89 scale from “@ Home” in the V & A Waterfront – also for over R500. It needed calibrating after about 18 months and I took it to the Phillips service centre on Koeberg Road. When I returned to collect it – they couldn’t find it – and so, gave me a similar looking Phillips scale – the same sort of model – but the little buttons (grams) were slightly different from the one I had originally purchased. Anyway, I took it and used it for a while – but it never really worked properly and then it began to give very strange readings – and could not settle on an exact weight. I also could not “zero” the grams/kg – so that when I added ingredients to the bowl (that I had supposedly zeroed) – and lifted the bowl off the scale – it showed either a minus or plus gram reading of about 2 – 4 grams. I replaced the batteries many times – thinking that that must be the problem – but if definitely was not. No matter what I do – or what surface I place it on – the reading runs riot.
I decided to take it back to Phillips service centre – but they had moved from Koeberg Road to Parow – and so, I took it there at the same time as I took in my kettle for the second time (see above). I was immediately told that the problem could not be fixed “as there are no parts for it”. I find this most disturbing – as this model scale is still being sold in “@ Home”. Needless to say I have discouraged all my friends and work colleagues from buying this scale – as there does not seem to be any effective repair or servicing of the appliance.
I sincerely hope that you are able to offer some compensation or replacement for these unfortunate instances of appliance malfunctions and bad servicing and repair. I look forward to hearing from you.
I bought a Phillps surround system from Makro in Pretoria about a week ago! I am very happy with the quality of the product and the sound! However!
I notice the machine gets extremely hot during usage! The unit is well ventilated and the air ducts are not restricted. Is this normal and no long term damage will be done to the unit or is there in fact something wrong with the unit!
Please get back to me.
Thank you and kind regards
Good day Philips:
I spoke to a lady at your call centre this morning at about 8h30 regarding a micro HiFi that I handed in at your Centurion branch on 012/01/16
Invoice Reference: SR40849
She promised to get back to me within ten minutes, but up to now at 11h00 I haven’t heard anything from her?
According to her the repair centre closed down – How do I get my property back, and will it be repaired as requested?
Could I have some kind of response please?
Thanks
