I visited the Vons store #3017 in Palmdale, ca. on 11-6-2022 and was greeted by cashier Arcelia. She had a smile on her face and said “good morning and how my day was going” At the end of the transaction I told her that she was courteous and she seemed appreciative.
Have shopped at your Badillo store for over 30 years. Have been using your mobile app since it was first made available. Your new app is not user friendly. To many steps to find items to add to shopping list. I suggest an in store app and a separate home delivery app. Shopping need to be easy not difficult. I need a simple app that works the old app did that job!
I was in your 2735 San Diego store. I always try to shop on Fridays for the $5 specials! Also for the buy 5 and save!
I had to get raincheck this Friday because they did not have 2lb strawberries for the ad price of $1.99 and corn 3 for $1.00 or 99 cents. Why run an ad that dose not back up the product? The way the produce employee just laughed about the lack of product was upsetting. They even had left the strawberry sign up but had 1lb containers that were higher! If you did not notice you would have thought they were $1.99! At check out I was to receive 54 Monopoly cards. . .My checker, Anthony, said he was not about to count out that number and just handed me some. Really?
I wish your employees realize there are 6 stores less the 2 miles customers can go to. (2 Ralphs, Trader Joe’s, Sprouts, Stumps and another Vons 2053!!).

First let me say it’s like trying to find a needle in haystack to get an email address to write customer support. You don’t make it easy.
The reason I am writing is to inquire as to why you stopped selling red chili peppers? I’ve been shopping at my neighborhood VONS in Monrovia, which use to be the preferable PAVILION, for nearly 11 yrs. And I was always able to get some red chili peppers. You seem to no longer offer this product even though it’s an essential ingredient for Mexican and Asian cuisine. Long before COVID-19 I couldn’t find any red chili peppers. You’re not the only store that has this problem. All the stores in my neighborhood seem to have stopped ordering this item.
May I know why?

I enjoy Vons and Albertsons. They are my go-to stores of choice. I have a recipe that, I swear, ONLY tastes right when I use Albertson’s fried chicken. Vons, though is my #1 spot for their fresh baked bread. The bread I like the best is the Farmhouse Baked bread (basic yeast bread). It is THE CLOSEST TO HOMEMADE, EVER! Over the past 2 months, though, something weird has been happening, and now it is almost “normal” for the product. Center of the bread is doughy and PINK. I pull that awy and throw it out, but that means I am paying TWICE the price for a loaf of bread (and it makes horrible sandwiches that way, too). I have made comments to the store(s) I shop in, and they ASSURE me that the loaves are completely done, but it is not right. My thought is that they are increasing the temp to “cook it quicker” and although it has the APPEARANCE of being done, it is not done! Please look into this product quality.
