About Smartfren
Smartfren is a telecommunications provider in Indonesia, offering mobile and internet services. The CDMA provider is managed by Smartfren Telecom, Tbk. Previously known as Mobile-8 Telecom, the company changed its name after it acquired Smart Telecom in 2011. Smartfren currently has the largest network coverage of CDMA EV-DO (mobile broadband network equivalent to 3G) in Indonesia.
