About Rogers Centre
Rogers Centre is a multipurpose stadium in downtown Toronto that regularly hosts baseball, music concerts and large conventions. Situated next to the CN Tower, the retractable roof stadium officially opened in the year 1989 and is currently owned by Rogers Communications. Formerly known as SkyDome, the stadium currently has a seating capacity of 49,200 for baseball and up to 55,000 for concerts. Other games that are hosted include football, soccer and basketball. The stadium is currently home to MLB’s Toronto Blue Jays. Each year, it hosts more than 200 events.

Fans can reach the stadium by bus, train as well as subway. The Spadina Ave at Bremner Blvd North Side and Queens Quay West at Rees St are just minutes away. The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subway is linked with buses and streetcars as well. The Union Pearson Express connects Toronto Pearson International Airport and Union Station in downtown Toronto. For those coming with their automobile, note that that there is limited parking available underground at Rogers Centre. Most parking is reserved for Season Ticket holders or guests with mobility issues. There are however a number of parking lots around the stadium. It is advised to pre-book space to avoid last minute rush.

Visit the MLB website to track upcoming games at the Rogers Centre. You can purchase tickets through Toronto Blue Jays or authorised ticketing agents like Ticketmaster. The Box Office is located near Gate 9 should you need any assistance with the ticket. On the Blue Jays website you can purchase a single game ticket, ticket packs or season tickets. The rates vary according to the seating location. There is a seating chart that shows the entry gates along with premium seats and lounge. Season ticket holders enjoy best seats, unlimited ticket exchanges, guaranteed postseason access, dedicated account executive and discounts during shopping. If you are not able to make it to a game, you can list your ticket on StubHub. Download the MLB Ballpark smartphone app to conveniently access and manage your tickets, check schedule, track promotional events, and more.

To enjoy a match or concert in luxury, explore the lounges and suites. With a lounge access, you get best sightlines in the ballpark, padded luxury seats, in-seat service and a dedicated service executive. If you are going in a small group, enquire for suites that come with exclusive entrances, incredible views, and catering. Before visiting the stadium, note the list of prohibited items and code of conduct published on the website. You are prohibited from bringing large bags, professional cameras with detachable lens, sticks, alcohol beverages, laser pens, knives, weapons, fireworks, stools, and any noisemakers. As for when the gates open, during home games held on Saturday and Sunday, the gates open 2 hours prior to game time. For weekday games, the gates will open 90 minutes before first pitch.
