I have enjoyed going to my local Pret for lunch since it opened. As I don’t drink tea or coffee, am diabetic so can’t drink sugary drinks and don’t like “diet drinks”, I usually drink fruit juice (but not too much). I was pleased to discover Pret did some nice canned fruit drinks with “absolutely nothing nasty added” so went in often to get these. When I went in yesterday I found the shelves full of Diet Coke instead, which I thoroughly dislike. A staff member told me “the drinks have been changed”. What a shame! Now I have no reason to go there. They’re the same as every other snack shop.
I had the displeasure of visiting the Horsham Pret branch today. Most of the staff were off-hand and unsmiling and I was made to feel that customers were a nuisance!
May I suggest that they are all made to visit the Crawley branch a few miles away where they might learn some customer service as the staff there are always pleasant, helpful!
I was having my breakfast in newly open large Pret just by Trafalgar Square and it was a horrible experience. The service was really bad to compare to other Pret branches – have not been given the tissue even after asking (in other branches given without asking with my breakfast baguette) and referred to help myself with tissues by the door (I was eating in). The music was horrible and really to loud. First thing in the morning you just don’t want before listen to this loud, banging music. Could not even to read my paper, it was just to loud and annoying. Why would you need to put such a loud music in the early morning? I had very unpleasant stay there and probably won’t come in the mornings there again even I work near by and would convenient to pop to this caffe. Probably the manage is very young in this branch and are not able to manage and train staff, to create a pleasant atmosphere in this new, nicely decorated branch.
Hello, I tried to get a sit-in drink at two city of London Pret’s last week and neither of them stock proper cups – the only possibility was a disposable plastic cup. Come on Pret – you can do better than this. I didn’t have my reusable cup with me so I didn’t have a hot drink on a cold day. Please – I’ve already boycotted your sandwiches due to plastic packaging – don’t let your disregard for the planet make stop having tea!!

I would just like to thank a member of staff at Eurostar Departure Lounge who was very kind to a distressed traveller on Sunday 12th May at around 07:35. I believe that her name is Vera and she deserves a special mention as she went above and beyond at a very busy time.
