I spend a lot of money ever week with New World. I was told by the deli manager there was nothing more they could do with the bloody looking chicken. I buy about 3-4 every week but never again. You can not serve it up to people and I own a cafe and it looks terrible. I’ve had 3 in two weeks. They the deli Manager said I’d had enough refunds. The last chicken I did as I was told to bring it back before that I’d taken photos. He was rude. I asked to see the store manager and got the fresh foods manager. All he said was just don’t buy them then. Rude as well. Not keen on going there anymore. I’ll spread the word. There’s no customer service. This is the kerikeri branch. Remember I shop there 6-7 days per week.
Me and my family are loyal customers of Silverstream New world. The service was good until recently. I think the staff are usually very good and friendly. Today I went to Silverstream NW to buy mushrooms because I saw the promotion poster outside the store saying the brown swiss mushroom 300 gm and white mushroom 400 gm were 3.99 per bag. However it was not. I think it’s a waste of time going back and forth. Can they be more considerate ? It’s not the first time a price is wrong. And also, my mother in law is an elderly lady , she doesn’t like to complain. She bought some mandarins from Silverstream NW last week and at least 2 were bad inside and not eatable.
I visited your store in Stanmore Bay on Tuesday evening and was absolutely disgusted when returning a damaged item to be called a liar and for the manager to look me up and down and tell me I don’t know who you live with and where you came from. Your probably are lying and probably just want something free. Refused to even listen to me tried to tell me that I will be trespassed. This was by far the most unprofessional experience by management that I have ever experienced in any company. Still waiting for someone to contact me had two members of the public stop and tell them to leave me alone and even offered to pay for my item that was damaged and told me how disgusted they were with the behaviour of your management team and security. Absolutely vial behaviour.
Our one in Kerikeri is just as bad now. Yes I complain when necessary but being treated like I was is just not acceptable. Lying to cover their arses. In my case it doesn’t matter about who to blame the problem needs to be fixed.
Why is your Turangi store so unprofessional. The store staff have no idea about about customer service they are rude unfriendly and appears not to have any training in this area. I thought customer service was prerequisite in the supermarket trade It is a disgrace. I am not alone in my observation and it has happened to me many times
What is with the price of your groceries!!! Seriously I have moved back from Australia only to find your grocery prices are absolutely ridiculous and as stated NZ is the 4th most expensive country in the world !!! Tomatoes $15 a kilo ????? Unbelievable prices that are causing the people of NZ to live in poverty as the wages are well beneath the cost of living I dont understand what the grocery industry is thinking????
Visited your store in Stanmore road today and was shocked that there were people hanging around the door with no masks on, no one was checking that mask were being worn, how many where in shop, it was very busy, the staff where stacking shelves and it was impossible to stay at a safe distance .
Hello, I am a customer in New World Devenport and usually shopping with my son there. I would like to say it’s a really good Store and the quality of products are great. Moreover, at the same time, I would like to express my opinion and say thank you to all staff working in this Store. Especially, I am grateful to a team of check out, they work hard and professional. For the last three time, I have been serviced by one of the operators and his name is Santiago. He provides great customer service, works fast, professional and follow all standards: smile, polite, helpful, keep a short conversation and eyes contact.
