Just returned from shopping at your store on Oakland in Bloomington, Il. Only self checkout and the express lane were open. When I asked if management could open another lane I was told there was no one available. I have worked groceries before and when things get backed up management comes out to help. I informed them that management knows how to use a cash register so get them. Next thing a young cashier came out grumbling that no one was scheduled and she really didn’t care because she was leaving in ten minutes anyway. I will never go to that store again.
Went to your store at the corner of 61st street and cottage grove in Chicago on 2/2/2023 @ 6:15 pm. The customer service there was abhorrent. I went to the deli I was the only one in line there were 4 people behind the counter, 2 of them were waiting on one customer nonchalantly chatting and ignoring me the other 2 were around the corner hiding. One of the 2 serving one customer said I guess to someone in the back that there were customers this was after I’d been standing there for several minutes and 3 or 4 more people were in line behind me. The people in the back came out and proceeded to ignore us as well. After a few more minutes I left to go to the customer service counter where more or less the same thing happened.

I had too many groceries to go through self service. You had lane 2 open at 7pm last night and THAT WAS IT. I have worked for years in Grocery Stores. This is a management problem. You had people sweeping isles. Learn how to run a store. You should have got EVERY person in that darn store that could work a register. I have been shopping in your store for 7-8 years. When I came in your store about 6:30pm on a WEEKNIGHT I took the last cart.
