About Hallmark Channel
Hallmark Channel is an American cable television network that traces its history to 1992 when it was operating as the American Christian Television System (ACTS) and the Vision Interfaith Satellite Network (VISN). Later it also operated as Faith & Values Channel and Odyssey Network. It’s sister channels consist of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama. The channel is owned by Crown Media Holdings and operates from its headquarters at Studio City, California.
Available in both high definition (HD) and standard definition (SD), the channel reaches 87 million homes. The ‘Schedule’ tab on the website provides details of the various programming throughout the month. All the titles and details of the program are available on the website. Viewers will find seasonal programming around holidays, in addition to the network’s made-for-TV movies.
The ‘Movies’ tab on the homepage lists all the latest and popular romantic movies. The ‘Home & Family’ tab has videos on latest recipes, cooking, crafts, home decor and DIY tasks. To view the programming on your television, speak to your cable TV operator. You can also catch the shows and episodes live online. You can select the cable providers to get started. The list includes U-verse, Verizon, Suddenlink, Dish, Optimum, Spectrum, DirecTV and Xfinity.
Hallmark Channel movies and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries originals can be purchased with your local retailer, Walmart, Target or Amazon in DVD format. For Hallmark’s own streaming and on demand service, there is Hallmark Movies Now. There is monthly as well as annual subscription. For more information or queries on subscription, refund, cancellation, career/jobs, or others, reach the Hallmark Channel support.
Myself and many, many Hallmark fans are wondering why the wonderful movie Window Wonderland has never been released on DVD. I had a short text response from one of the eriters of the movie and, amazongly, she didn’t know why either. Could it be, perhaps, that song rights are preventing the movie’s release on DVD?
As a long time viewer of Hallmark movies, I feel compelled to leave a comment (that I hope your writers will read) after seeing the most recent movie, “Rome in Love.” As a strong, intelligent, competent and professional woman myself, I find it difficult to watch the continued portrayal of your female protagonists as irrational and emotional when it comes to the “conflict” in your storylines. I found this particularly disappointing in “Rome in Love” when the female protagonist over reacted towards the male protagonist over a situation that was clearly not his fault. While parts of the movie seemed to advocate for gender equality and strong female leads, the “conflict” negates that stance by making women look emotionally driven and incapable of rationally viewing a misunderstanding. Please find better conflicts that reflect issues real couples face and that portray women as the competent, decisive, and intelligent humans that we are. Thank you.
I have been binging on your Christmas in July movies. I have your channel on all day and most of the evening and have seen most movies, if not all, more then twice. Quite frankly I am so tired of the same predictable scenes such as, going in for the first kiss, it is always being interrupted so as not to complete the action, I now close my eyes being annoyed. I always know when the movie is over the kiss is finally completed THE END. To me the movie is incomplete I would like to see what happens after the kiss. I just watched one of your older movies and was happy to see the continued scene of one year later. It was refreshing to see. I do enjoy watching easy going family type movies and love stories that is why I have Hallmark channel on daily. I just wanted your writers to know I enjoy the different story lines, it would be nice if they changed it around when it comes to the love scenes. One more thing, the men and women are such beautiful looking people, I understand this is the style now, but does every man really need all that hair on their face, 99% of your movies the men are so grubby looking. Clean shaving is so much more handsome, when they clean up with their suits on it would be great to see their handsome faces. So sorry for the negative feed back, I just felt compelled to express my feelings because I am such a big fan.
Love Hallmark, and yes thee storylines are all predictable, and the snow falling and perfectly placed in the scenes are truly unreal to one who lives where it does snow. The one thing that really gets me though is that the women seem to always be wearing high heels in snow. It makes the people really look ignorant. No one I know ever wears heels in the stuff. They will wear appropriate winter attire, especially shoes.
I like both your channels but I get so sick and tired of seeing Christmas shows in July, November and December. Please keep your Christmas shows to December. There are so many good shows that you could be showing….They do not make good shows today like in years past. Please, start showing some of those. Keep Christmas in December.
I am a decades long fan of Hallmark. I especially love the Christmas movies. I like the fact that Hallmark has started casting Mark Deklin in the Christmas and regular ensembles. Please utilize him as often as possible.
I want to tell you how much I like the Hallmark Channels, especially the mystery one. I pay extra just to be able to watch it. However, it sure does disappoint me that you give the majority of the July month to Christmas. I LOVE Christmas but in December and not in the middle of the year with it so hot outside! I can handle the Thursday Christmas night I guess to please those that want Christmas shows but I just will not watch it. I just do not understand why you do this at all frankly. It’s terrible to be dreading the month for this reason! Maybe if you had a separate channel just for those who like to watch it although I have not talked to anyone who does. I love the shows like Matlock and Monk and was so happy when they reappeared. It’s your station so you’re allowed to choose your programming but I just wanted to tell you I was disappointed myself. Thanks for letting me vent!
Absolutely loved Katrina Law in Snow Bride and 12 gifts of Christmas. Any plans to have her in future movies? Also would really like to see Jordan Belgium again.
I love the Hallmark Channel & Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. It is so refreshing to have something to watch where the characters actually have character & high moral standards. However, I am anxiously waiting fir Christmas in July to be over. I do NOT like to watch Christmas movies when it is 100 degrees outside. Please, no more Christmas Thursdays and Christmas in July. Surely you must have some other ideas for plot lines. You have made fantastic films that are not about Christmas. Please make some more! I love Christmas, don’t get me wrong. I just like to really immerse myself in each season as it comes. Make movies about spring, summer, fall and every holiday along the way! Beverly
Love shows on Hallmark. Hate Hallmark commercials every three to five minutes of actual show about upcoming Hallmark shows. Don’t need to see them over and over and over!
If you are basically your own sponsors why do we faithful viewers have to be subjected to this?
Please put something in the coffee cup so it has weight when filming and put weight in suitcases, briefcases, purses, etc. These props act differently when empty. No amount of acting can hide the fact and it is such a simple fix. Such sloppy work to ignore details like this and costs no money to fix it.
I am a Hallmark junkie. I love everything about it and yes some of the shows get a little boring at times, but for the most part I think they are great! My all time favorite was the Veteran movie where the girl ended up with the dog she had in the war. Best movie ever and when a movie can make me cry, it is a good movie! Another favorite one of mine is the Christmas Card! I just love the beautiful scenery and the actors were really good in that. Would there be any chance of a sequel to the movie? My cousin watches these movies too and we both said at the same time it would be awesome if the same actors could play in a sequel. I think Autumn Reeser is a fantastic actress and so is Jesse Metcalfe. Candice, Daniel Lissing, they are all good! Please think about that sequel. I think it would be great!!! Thanks for listening.
I very much appreciate the Hallmark channel & the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. I watch both channels a lot.
I would like to caution you about over exposure of Christmas. Two on-going Christmas movie sessions a year is too much. Especially, when Christmas in July crowded out the July 4th celebration of America’s independence. There are many movies celebrating our country that would have been more appropriate than Christmas movies six months before Christmas.
Thank you for any consideration you might give my suggestions.

Yes I agree with the person, Christmas is being over done big time!! July then they start all over before Halloween even gets here. I love the movies…a few, but time after time after time gets old and usually find other channels to watch unfortunately.
ALSO, can you tell me where I love Lucy is at? It was shuffled around the month of July and endured it, but now it’s well into August and it is NOT on at the normal 4:00 am time . And my sister in Houston and myself in Illinois miss it terribly. We are awake early lots and lots of nights and LUCY is what we both turn on…even though a thousand miles apart, we connect knowing more than likely she is watching this also and we each have our favorite episodes. So this is awful for us. Please please please get it back on for us…and many other faithful viewers.???
I have been watching The Hallmark Channel for quite some time now, I especially like the holiday movies. But there seem to be so many movies with the same plot, theme, and honestly, the same age group. The characters all seem to be 30-somethings, and the story is so predictable. How about writing stories with people who are empty nesters, or older people in general. You have many viewers in the over 50 age group. One of my all time favorites, is “One Special Night ” with James Garner and Julie Andrews. Please bring more movies like that.
Why is the Hallmark Movies and Mystery Channel airing all these sappy Christmas flicks during June, July, October thru November? I watch Hallmark Movies and Mysteries FOR THE MYSTERIES. HELLOOOOOO! Take that sappy crap off and let us mystery buffs enjoy MYSTERY SHOWS AND MYSTERY MOVIES AGAIN.
I love all your murder mystery shows. I love Murder She Baked and want more of this series. I’ve been reading the books and can’t wait to see more of this show. I love Alison’s new show but please bring us more Murder She Baked.
Dear Hallmark Channel,
I am usually a pretty easy going type, but one of your movies has just made me hopping mad! “June in January”, with the belittling remarks about nurses, from characters in the movie who have far less education, training, and dedication than is required to be a successful RN. Obviously, your producers didn’t have a clue what they were talking about when they allowed phrases in this film such as “just a nurse”, “only a nurse”, and the totally unforgivable “I’m sure your mother had someone better in mind for you to marry than a nurse”! The “other woman” in the movie was nothing more than an ASSISTANT to the leading man’s mother, who was ONLY a designer! Does that even require any sort of college degree? Most RN’s have a BS degree or higher, and all of us receive intensive, ongoing training and education, and must pass rigorous exams to receive our RN title. The character in the movie is an NP, which is indeed a specialized RN, but to compare her to other nurses, (RN’s, not nursing assistants, who many people incorrectly assume are nurses, but who themselves do amazing, demanding work), as though we are some sort of lowly underlings is preposterous, I realize this movie was made in 2014, and I hope attitudes at Hallmark have become more enlightened, but I think you should consider doing a sort of apology movie to the nurses everywhere, who save lives on a daily basis, that you have so wrongfully denigrated.

My family recently went to Internet streaming for tv. Yesterday, I was looking forward to watching the new season of Good Witch, so after downloading the Hallmark app on my Roku I couldn’t watch anything because I needed a provider service. I feel that it is unfair to those of us who cut the cable and no longer have a provider service that we cannot watch the programs we enjoy. It would be wonderful and you would have more viewers enjoy your programming if you changed this policy.
PLEASE STOP showing Christmas movies throughout the year. It completely ruins the magic of these special movies. I love watching them, but not in the middle of spring. We’re going to watch them anyway when they’re on during October through December, so it really doesn’t make sense to do this. There are enough Hallmark movies to not require showing the Christmas ones all year.
My daughter, friends and I love Hallmark….but you write stories about the same thing…no more cooking, wedding planners, etc. That’s why we love the Love on Safari, Hearts of Christmas, Love at First Bark, Royal Wedding etc. the story line is different. I love Lacey Chabbet and Danica Mckellar but we see them in too many of the films. Lets see more with Arielle Kebbel, Autum Reese, Jill Wagner, Erin Krachower, Holly Robinson Peete and Emelie Ullereya. Why have we not seen more of Jon Cor, Kevin McGarry? We do love Andrew and Kirstoffer Polano. I am also sick of Golden Gilrs, I love Lucy (I am 80 yrs ;old and that was when I was in high school).
I agree some of the scripts are uninspired to say the least. And Ryan Peavey is obviously not a class mate of Jocelyn Hudon! She’s clearly much younger than he. The writing seems to have gone down hill too.
I love your channel. But… I’m an English major and it is my most humble wish is that you change your 2 minute ending to a 10 minute ending. This would increase the story’s of your movies to 7 stars to 9 stars… The story is everything. A kiss at the end doesn’t fulfill the 2 hours we just watched. Abrupt endings are destroying the final minutes of your movies. Great stories but ALL the endings are too short. Finish the movie. My humble opinion. If you actually read and listen to this post, you will find more viewers. Story needs a conclusion. Not just a kiss… More family smiles, happiness, and hand holding. A kiss to end a story is sad, your stories deserve more. All the lights and decorations you put into them are amazing but the 2 minutes perfect timing ending sucks. Give the characters the crescendo they deserve. All my best…
I really enjoy Hallmark Movies & Mysteries ,however I noticed it is now becoming The Monk and Physic station. I know that there are others that feel the same way. I enjoyed Columbo, Diagnosis Murder, Matlock and Perry Mason, Murder She Wrote. It was enjoyable then to watch the movies in the afternoon and evening. Now we get to watch Monk and Physic all day and evening and on Saturdays, well, forget that idea! On Saturdays it is all MONK and holidays it is all PHYSIC. You are supposed to be movies and mysteries. There are other channels who also carry Monk continuously. Enough is enough!!! There are so many other shows like Ironside, McCloud and McMillan. You did have Mason, then movies in the afternoon. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK to Movies & Mysteries and NOT the channel of Monk and Physic.
I’ve been watching the hallmark channel for a long time. The movies they have for all the seasons are wonderful, but I’m very disappointed that the Hallmark channel is running Christmas movies every Thursday night. Why? The Christmas season is a special time of the year for friends and family to enjoy. The world has commercialized Christmas so much that craft and hobby stores start putting Christmas decorations out in July. Christmas commercials start in September and now we can watch Christmas movies every Thursday…I remember when the Christmas season started the day after Thanksgiving…. It was special, magical and had meaning. And now the Hallmark channel is doing the same thing…very disappointing
I want to say I really enjoy and appreciate hallmark channel. However i am getting really tired of seeing “once upon a prince” every single week. It’s too much and really annoying. Also I was disappointed when the show “In the middle” was taken off air. That was a good show and a nice change from usual hallmark TV. Another point I’ve noticed the characters are always drinking from paper coffee cups that are noticeably empty. Maybe switch it up and have them drink something else lemonade or iced Tea. Also it would be nice to see more actors of color that aren’t just the sidekick or best friend. But thank you for providing good clean fun.
Please forgive Lori Laughlin , she made a mistake , who hasn’t ? It is so sad that any mistake that someone makes today people go crazy , don’t take away peoples livelihood. Run the shows and if ratings go down then do something about it .
Now onto another subject . Your new show morning mysteries is very disappointing. Poor script, we’ve seen this all before , know how it ends 10 minutes into the show . Poor acting sub standard for what we are use to from Hallmark . Will not waste my time watching again . Discussion today with friends was a big thumbs down ?. Maybe Al Rooker should have stuck with the weather .
Let’s keep Hallmark mystery movies up to the standards that your viewers have been used to !!
Two questions. 1) How can I purchase the DVD “I Do, I Do, I Do”. I just love Autumn Reeser. and 2) Can you please add Rupert Penry-Jones to your cast for other movies. He is so classy and I love his acting. Love Danica McKellar. She is so good. Thanks. Please let me know…..
INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY NEEDED, everywhere from Acting all the way up to your Board of Directors and Corporate levels. Wake up, or lose viewers. It’s not 1950 anymore!!!
I am totally sick of shows like the Golden Girls, Frazier and I Love Lucy. We have seen enough of them already. Hallmark Channel should be strictly movies as far as I am concerned and shows like When Calls the Heart. I also think that Lisa Winchel would be the perfect replacement for Lori Laughlin as Abigail. I saw a movie a couple of weeks ago and she looks somewhat like Lori and seems to me to be the perfect choice of all the ones that I have seen being considered. I also agree with the lady that is sick of Lacey Chabot. I don’t even watch her movies anymore because I am sick of her. Some new story lines are needed as well. I agree that the movie where the soldier gave his kidney the to girl that needed it at Christmas time was fantastic. I watched it 3 times. We need more shows like that. Also some of the reruns of the shows of the past is really boring. We’ve been watching them for years and do we have to watch them for the rest of our lives. Please get on with When Calls the Heart because there are millions of us Hearties out there that does not want this show to end so please get Lisa Winchel who is the perfect Abigail replacement. I believe people will love her in that role.
Please do not take Lori Loughlin’s movies/shows off the air. Yes she made a mistake but its a bigger mistake taking her movies/shows off the air. She is NOT the only actor/actress that will be missed. All the other actors will be missed for sure and to punish them as well is not fair. May I make a suggestion and continue playing them and watch the ratings. If the ratings fail then deal with it as you would with any other shows that have ratings fall. If the rating stay high then leave the show there. Her shows should be dealt with however the public views them… If we watch them then leave them alone, if we don’t then by all means remove them BUT LET THE PUBLIC DECIDE….. PLEASE AGAIN, SHE IF NOT THE ONLY ACTOR WE WATCH THE SHOW FOR
Hallmark Channel and Movies and Mysteries is pretty good, but WHEN will you INCLUDE more ACTORS AND ACTRESSES of COLOR? It is disappointing to see one or two people of color in your new movies. Kudos for adding Holly Robinson Peete to the movies and mysteries, but what about the spring movies that are on regular Hallmark? Also, while I do love Christmas, I think because Hallmark basically starts showing Christmas movies on BOTH channels in OCTOBER, and then you have a MONTH in the summer, do we really need Christmas movies on Thursdays? Please . . . . Give us a BREAK.
Lori Loughlin, I think you broke the ties too soon. I don’t agree on the method she got her girls into higher education, but this is something the rich and foreigners have gotten away with, because the schools allowed it. (that’s the real crime). Or is this political because she could be a republican? I think she could recover if she was given a chance.
I love the Hallmark shows! And I love Lori Laughlin! I just wanted to express my anger at your recent decision to cut ties with her. Though she made a poor choice in attempting to short circuit the system by paying for her children to attend good schools, I feel the schools are actually more at fault for allowing such bad behavior. This does not feel like a moral wrong, but a societal norm that needs to be addressed at higher levels. She is being targeted because she is famous. She admits to being in the wrong. No cover-up or blame. Please reconsider and stand behind this good woman.
Please offer Hallmark Murder and Mysteries Channel on the Go Big Channel option for Directv Now. It makes no sense to not allow this channel when someone upgrades to a more expensive channel option.
