About GoAir
The fifth-largest airline in India by market share, GoAir is a low-cost passenger carrier, headquartered in Mumbai. The airline operates across 36 destinations, with 330 flights each day. The airline covers nine international destinations from its hubs located in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Kannur. GoAir is among the most preferred in India owing to its on-time flights, budget-friendly tickets, and responsive customer care support. If you are traveling on a domestic route via GoAir, you can access the web check-in from 72 to 01 hours before the departure. For international sectors, web check-in is available from 72 hours to 02 hours before the departure. All the passengers traveling via GoAir should reach the airport three hours before the departure of their scheduled flight. Make sure you are carrying valid identity proof before setting out for the airport.

GoAir adheres to international baggage policies, and passengers are allowed to carry cabin baggage not exceeding the dimension of 115 cm (55 cm + 35 cm + 25 cm) in domestic flights. The checked-in baggage should not exceed the overall dimensions of 158 cms (L +W +H). The weight of free cabin baggage should not exceed 7 kgs, and the check-in baggage should be up to 15 kgs. If you are traveling to an international destination, you can carry hand baggage with overall dimensions not exceeding 108 cms. Your hand baggage can include a laptop or duty-free shopping bags as well. Passengers traveling with an infant are allowed to carry additional hand baggage not exceeding 07 kgs. The airline does not allow check-in luggage weighing more than 32 kgs, in any case. If you are traveling with extra baggage, you will be charged extra, depending on the exceeding weight. You can purchase an extra baggage allowance of 5 kgs for INR 2000, 10 kgs for INR 4000. The rates for pre-booked extra luggage varies as per the route. 

If you traveled with GoAir and encountered issues with luggage, including lost or damaged luggage, you can report the same at the GoAir assistance counter at the airport. In the case of damaged baggage, the staff will help you with a DBR (Damage Baggage Report), and you will be assisted after the proper basement of the situation. If your baggage is lost during the journey, the staff will help you fill a PIR (Property Irregularity Report. You will be given a unique reference number that will help you track the status of the lost baggage conveniently.
