About Footprint Center
Footprint Center is a multipurpose arena in Phoenix, Arizona, opened in the year 1992. Owned by the City of Phoenix, the arena boasts a seating capacity of 18,500. It is currently home to NBA’s Phoenix Suns, and AFL’s Arizona Rattlers. Spread across 11 acres, Footprint Center regularly hosts basketball, indoor football, music concerts and live events. Formerly the arena was known by names America West Arena, US Airways Center, Talking Stick Resort Arena, and Phoenix Suns Arena.
Located centrally in downtown Phoenix, the arena can be easily accessed through both Interstates 10 and 17, commuter bus and light rail (Valley Metro). If driving, the arena has its own parking facility, including garages for guests with disabilities. Accessible parking is limited and is available on a first-come, first-park basis There are a number of parking garages around the venue as well. Guests can book parking online to avoid rush on event days. The drop-off zone is at 1st Street located between Madison and Jefferson streets.
As for tickets, you can enquire or book season tickets directly through the club. General tickets including those for concerts can be booked online on Ticketmaster. You can visit the official website for information on ticketing partners or for tracking ongoing or upcoming games and events. To book a ticket at the Box Office, you can visit the office located in the Pavilion on the Northwest side. The ticket office is open Monday to Friday, from 10am to 5pm. It will also be open 3 hours before game time on weekend game days. Premium seating tickets are available for booking. You can book a loge box or a suite that comes with best views of the stadium and an exclusive space.
Footprint Center is a smoke-free facility. When visiting the arena note that backpacks and large bags are not allowed inside. Outside food and beverages, whistles, weapons, fireworks, computers, selfie sticks, illegal substances and video recording devices are not allowed. There is a guest services desk to help guests who need wheelchair or want to report a lost and found item. For sporting events, doors open one hour and 30 minutes before game time for the general public. The time varies for concerts and other events.
After a Suns or Rattlers game, you can head to the team shop located on the north side to buy t-shirts, jerseys, souvenirs or general merchandise. The store opens Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. The Phoenix Suns official store online also sells apparel, collectibles and gifts. You can purchase an item using any major credit card. Guests can return merchandise up to 90 days from shipping date.
