I wish to make a complaint about the wall oven (Model No: OB6OSC7LEXI, Serial No: AAG677099, Part No: 81491) rubber seal which has separated on the lower edge and is hanging loosely thereby making cooking to the required temperature well nigh impossible. This occurred only after approximately a year of using our new appliance which we initially attempted to fix the problem ourselves which was unsuccessful. In early 2021, we had a recommended F & P electrical serviceman attend (HD Appliances) only once to view the oven and Range Hood. He advised that he would have to order the parts in order to fix both the wall oven and the Range Hood lights. The Range Hood down lights both flicker and then turn off. I have been advised that the bulbs themselves are not the problem and that it is the interior electrical workings need to be replaced. Since that time we left a message and was advised that the part would have to come from overseas and as a result of the pandemic it was taking longer to arrive. Since then, I’ve also left a couple of messages for the serviceman to contact me but received no reply. I’m very disappointed in the lack of customer service we have received, not to mention the appliances themselves and having to put up with appliances not working properly which is totally unsatisfactory.
New owner, and one major flaw that I wish to have changed. By the way, I love the refrigerator.
The water dispenser – It is very shallow for the cabinet depth version, but that is something you learn how to handle.
Major flaw – You can NOT turn the light on for the water dispenser – which is crazy if you want water at night – the light goes on after you push in the cup, which is obviously too late. If positioned wrong, lot of mess. Why this has no “on” option is beyond me (better yet, a light sensor for night).
Minor items – not at all clear what the fast bottle chiller is – where is it? Nothing in the guidebook says where it is — I see the switch, but nothing regarding where it is. Also the icemaker does jam if you turn it off for a while (so I leave it on).
Overall – wonderful product
I’m extremely disappointed with the repair booking system. I was away from home and couldn’t supply the model no. etc so therefore could not book online. Phoned customer service and was told I would be booked in for 17 November, when told I would not be back home until today 18 November, your employee said she would make it the 19 November. She then sent through 2 confirmations, one for 17 and one for 26 November. I phoned today, 18 November, and was told no one could come until 26 November. Went online to see if I could bring the appointment forward as the fridge has been off from 15 November, and this states first available appointment is December so I’m stuck with 26 Nov. Very poor service or not enough technicians to service the many repairs. It would also be helpful if customer service was onshore as the phone line from India was cutting in and out.
