About Orient Electric
Orient Electric is an Indian manufacturer of consumer electrical products. Part of the CK Birla Group, the company was founded in 1954 and has its headquarters at New Delhi. Orient Electric’s fans, home appliances, switchgear, lighting and other products are sold across small and big cities in India. The same are also sold in more than 35 international markets. The largest fan manufacturer in the country boasts a distribution network that exceeds 4,000 dealers and 1,25,000 retail outlets across 450 cities. Orient Electric’s manufacturing facilities are located in Kolkata, Faridabad, Noida and Guwahati. For FY 2019-20, the company posted operating revenue of INR 2062 crores. A large part of the revenue came from electric consumer durables.
