About Elica India
Elica is a renowned name in the the kitchen hoods and chimney market. The company was founded in 1970 and operates from its headquarters at Fabriano Italy. Elica began operations in India in 2010. It’s extensive range of kitchen appliances are sold online and at brick and mortar stores. Elica’s hoods and chimneys come with a wide variety of features and sizes.
Under chimneys, you have wall mounted, island, EDS, built-in and ceiling range. The wall mounted start with 35cm and go up to 120cm. Elica also manufactures built-in appliances like hobs (Classic, Pro, Flexi, Desire, Brass, Vetro, Stainless Steel, Induction, etc), ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, cooking ranges and fryers. On each product page, you can read detailed description, get size details, model name and color options.

As for warranty, most Elica products carry a one year warranty. The motors however carry a warranty of five years or more. It varies from product to product. Products must be registered with the company after purchase to claim warranty. Note that bulbs/ LED’s are not covered under warranty. Recently I ordered cooktop from elica, auto ignition was not working satisfactorily. I approached elica customer care, service team was useless. After several follow ups, visited 2-3time but problem was not solved. Very upset with elica service team.
They lack expertise on identifying the problem and fixing it. Service technician simply charge money changing the regular part without RCA of the issue. People suffer because of no correct support.
Worst service ever. I have been following up for the missing chimney part since installation for a month. They say need to pay extra for the missed baffle filter. Why should I pay if the part is missing and wasn’t in the box that was delivered. I had ordered for 2019 model they delivered older model 2017. Pathetic service. CC team lead Pramod spoke so arrogantly. Doesn’t listen to the customer and damn rude. No more elica products. Highly do not recommend anyone to buy their products. THEY DONT LISTEN, THEY DON’T VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL EVEN AFTER DELIVERING MISSING ITEM. Its been 2 months. If I complain to Elica the are least bothered and the Cc person defends him and says in the outskirts the technician sometimes don’t carry a task sheet/job sheet. Really?? So for your fault why do we suffer. If possible I would want to return the chimney as well and buy from more professional company.
