About Ball Arena
Ball Arena is a basketball and ice hockey stadium located in Denver, Colorado. The state of the art facility opened in the year 1999 and was formerly named Pepsi Center. Owned by Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, the venue is home to NBA’s Denver Nuggets, NHL’s Colorado Avalanche and NLL’s Colorado Mammoth. Besides sports, the Ball Arena is also a popular entertainment destination with concerts and events organised throughout the year. There are more than 250 events held year year. You can track all the current and upcoming concerts, shows and events on the official website.
Spread across 4.6 acre, Ball Arena can seat up to 19,100 for basketball games. It can seat about 18,000 individuals for hockey and lacrosse games. And for concerts and entertainments events, it can accommodate up to 20,000 guests. The privately-owned facility boasts of 89 luxury suites, 1,900 club seats and two Theatre Boxes. The premium seating comes with gourmet catering, VIP parking and top-notch amenities. The luxury suites can accommodate 12-16 people. As for Theatre Boxes, they also include catering, plush seating and access to exclusive Club Level. New visitors can make use of the A-Z guide, stadium map and seating chart online for a comfortable experience.
For tickets, you can approach the team directly through phone or email. General ticket purchase or season ticket registration can be done on the website. For concerts and events, you could search for seats on leading ticketing portals like Ticketmaster. Tickets for events or Will Call tickets can also be booked using credit card at the Ball Arena Box Office, located on Chopper Circle. Currently, there are no refunds or exchanges offered on any ticket purchased for a Ball Arena concert or event. If the event has been cancelled or rescheduled, you can contact the ticket retailer directly.
Ball Arena is centrally located and easily accessible through RTD buses, MallRide (free shuttle service) or light rail (C Line and E Line has a stop at the Ball Arena/Elitch Gardens). The schedule can be accessed online to help prepare for your journey. If taking your automobile, then you can look for parking at the Toyota Ball Arena parking lots. They open 3 hours prior to the start of the event. You can purchase your parking ticket online in advance to avoid the rush. Note that wheelchair and accessible seating is available on all levels of the arena. You can approach the guest relations office should you need assistance or want to simply provide a feedback.
When visiting the stadium, note that you are prohibited from bringing air horns, large bags, backpacks, professional cameras, tripods, fireworks, outside food/beverages, selfie sticks, weapons and other items that could interfere, harm or distract an event participation. Bags, cameras and video recording equipment may be allowed for certain concerts. Do check the policy before planning your trip.
