Feedback on ARPICO SEEDUWA. I have bad experience on 04:04:2023 at Seeduwa outlet. The person Kumar argued with me because I asked where the support staff was? He said I don’t care I need to close this at 10:00 pm. I’m entering to outlet at 09:30 pm and get some item with my wife and two child. Suddenly all the light went off and I’m asking to what happened. I requested to please let me shop just the one item I need. He was more interested in closing than offering good customer service.
I would like to bring your attention with regards to Palanwatta Arpico branch. The staff members at cashier seem lacking in responsibility and customer care unlike at other branches. I am a regular client at Arpico, who believes in good quality of goods and services at your organisation. But here at Palanwatta I didn’t experience the same quality. I did purchase goods with your new year offering (50 percent for nominated items) and as I felt the staff working there also unaware of the procedure that how this special offering goes. They didn’t explain it when we inquired and they even don’t have a proper understanding about that and just said after fulfilling rs.7500 bill from nominated items, you can take any essential product from a particular table, that they have arranged and said that all goods there have 50 percent discount and they took much time at cashier and we have to wait like nearly an hour and the almost 3 staff members at cashier tried to make our bill. And then as they took more and more time, they began to act like we did the mistake and with all the reddish faces filled with irresponsibility. And I have to say that the customer care at this branch was awkward and inhumane. And after checking the bill we were much worried and confused cause they haven’t provide the same discount for all the goods that we bought and manager after long time admitted that he did something wrong when arranging products and so our bill value become so high than we expect.
My wife is a regular customer at Arpico Super market @ Hyde Park Corner. Lately we noticed that the cashiers charge for different items which are more expensive than the products that we bought. The price differences were 200-300 rupees so we let it go rathrr thsn argue with cashiers and waste the time of the people in the queue. But yesterday was shopping there around 11 am and after coming home I founf thr papaw fruit on the table had a label which said that she had paid Rs 1191 for KC Mango 1.2,Kg! Surprised I checked the bill that confirmed it. We didn’t buy any mangoes. I thing the boy boy who was weighing put the wrong price. It is not the first time they had put wrong labels also. This doesn’t happen at other Super markets. I have the photos but you have no whatsapp numbet. Also the phone is busy.
I would like to bring your attention with regards to Malabe Arpico branch. The staff members at cashier seem lacking in responsibility and customer care unlike at other branches. I am a regular client at Arpico (Baththaramulla), who believes in good quality of goods and services at your organisation. But here at Malabe I do not experience the same quality. I did purchase goods worth of Rs. 5,000.00 producing a voucher, however at the same time I had been charged the same through my debit card. Hence I had to revisit the branch. When I revisited the branch the answer I got from the Female cashier was quite funny, “Yes, I noticed it. The voucher was not read by the system, so debited the card,”, without an apology. If she really noticed it at the first place, it would have been her responsibility to inform the customer returning the voucher at that time without making the customer to revisit the branch. I got my money back (Rs. 5K) since I noticed it, if not it would have been neglected. It is better to train the staff with more responsibility & customer care.
