Why does your store in Muntinlupa do not have paper bags provided to customers and force us to buy eco-bag that cost 10 pesos and 35 pesos which should not be part of our expense when we purchase in your store. Kindly consider the fact that we customers also have budgeted finances so why should we add eco-bag if your store provides paper bags.
I had a bad shopping experience at Alfamart Baranggay Bigaa, Cabuyao (Laguna, Philippines) this afternoon (April 21, 2023). Your staff should know that it is wrong for them to rush the buyer to pay especially when my son was still choosing the food he wanted. You probably know that the child takes a long time to choose what he/she wants, it just so happens that the product he chooses is on the counter. Instead of encouraging the customer to add more products to buy, your staff rushed me to pay. That’s also why I didn’t let my son choose what he wanted when I was about to pay.
From what I saw, the cashier was in a hurry to finish our transaction because they were doing something. They were putting frozen food in the freezer. Yes, I know that it should be fixed right away, but that is still no reason for the buyer to rush to pay. When you see a customer enter your store, you should prioritize them. You can’t do anything because that’s your job there. If you’re doing something, when you find a buyer, especially if he/she already paying, you should prioritize it and don’t rush it.
As an expatriate Australian who has lived in Indonesia for many years I’m accustomed to rude, lazy and unsmiling shop attendants working in disorganized shops full of trip, slip and falls hazards. That is a very common shopping experience for most Indonesians and what is unfortunately normal. I entered the Alfamart at SPBU Maron Temanggung at 08:28 on the 13-08-2022 and was amazed at what was in front of me. The Alfamart was clean and tidy with the display shelves fully stocked and without a single trip hazard or any water on the floor. The young kasir who served me, MEIKA MA, and the other young guy working there were both helpful and friendly. This was, without any doubt, the tidiest convenience store I have seen in Indonesia. I truly hope Alfamart management read this and give some sort of recognition to this store and the young people mentioned above. I believe in giving praise when deserved and I told them while I was in the store that they are doing a great job. Hopefully Alfamart can use this store as an example of what ALL of their stores should look like.
I appreciate that we had a alfamart branch here in cansinala, apalit, it was the first convenient store in our area. I hope the company gives training for the staff/crew to be polite and accommodating. I encountered staff being so rude. Everytime there is a rude staff when I buy groceries. I shop more than 3 times a week here.
I would like to complain about Alfamart MOJON, one time I bought flat tops chocolate there and when I ate it I noticed it was melted. How come chocolates can’t be dissolved there, that place is too hot, i can’t barely stay there. I’m hesitant to buy in that store as the food might spoil because of too much heat.
Would like to complain the Alfa Mart in Binakayan Kawit Cavite. I am a frequent customer there and everytime I pay for my purchase, the cashier ALWAYS tells me and the other customers that she don’t have change “wala kaming barya”. It is very frustrating to hear this statement from a commercialized convenient store. Take note also that the staff/cashier are not accommodating as well. Suggest to train them to be customer-oriented and they should be approachable if a client reach out asking for assistance.
Please train the staff that are being assigned to your Gulod Itaas branch to be customer-oriented. Smile to create a pleasant ambiance within the store. Though it’s a self service store, there are times they have yo assist. Hope this can reach you and be attended. Thanks.
I would like to complain the Alfa Mart in Brgy. As-Is Bauan Batangas (front of Lumina). I am a frequent customer there and everytime (morning, afternoon, and evening) I pay my purchase, the cashier ALWAYS told me and the other customers that she don’t have change “wala kaming barya”. It is very frustrating to hear this statement from a commercialized convenient store. Take note also that the staff/cashier are not accommodating as well. Suggest to train them to be customer-oriented and they should be approachable if a client reach out asking for assistance. My mother (senior citizen) had an experience of asking assistance, however, no staff is available to help my mom.
This is about Alfamart branch in San Basilio, Santa Rita, Pampanga.
On Nov 19, 2021, I’d like to pay my purchases via Gcash but the cashier told me that they can’t accept payments thru Gcash because it was 9pm which means, already the cut off. It was kinda weird because that was my very FIRST TIME to hear that payments using gcash should be before 9pm.
November 20, 2021 – I was at the store at 7pm, carrying all the snacks I wanted to buy in the counter and was supposed to pay. But when I told the cashier that I will pay thru Gcash, she mentioned that they are not accepting Gcash that day because they cannot login. She was speaking to me while cutting her nails. How improper?
And why would they not put a sign that payments thru Gcash is not available? I wish you can train your employees before letting them work. Very disappointing.
I wish to inform you of a unpleasant experience I experienced in Alframart @ Shell Residences.
Manila, PHILIPPINES
First of all, I must salute the staffs for still serving us during this pandemic period. And I am grateful that the little outlet that tried it best to place in more varieties for us.
So far, I have not encountered any difficulties in shopping in Alframart till tonight. Please allow me to share with you on what just happened, I selected 3 cans of Coke, the cashier informed me that they doesnt have change for 1000 peso. And unfortunately that the only bill I had at the time.
So I decided to wait, wait for other clients to pay. I waited patiently till I am confident that they have more then enough change to my purchase. So I ask the cashier, can I buy my item ( 3 Coke ) with the 500 peso?
They replied NO, I told them I already saw them deal with sole many clients now and they are all paying in smaller noted. Why they refuse to accept my 500 note?
Then this staff by the name, Joy Ganbn, spoke in Tagalog to her coworker and said will use ALL coin for my change and show me the big bag of coins. Kindly provide proper Customer Service Training to your staff before letting them work at your mart and tarnish the name of your wonderful Store.
