GoAir is a low-cost Indian airline owned by Jehangir Wadia, the great-grandson of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Established in 2005, GoAir is based in Mumbai and currently has services to 21 destinations. Currently, the airline operates some 156 daily flights.

My flight from Patna to Ahmedabad- Flight # G8 8034 of 5th June 2021 was cancelled by GoAir. First I received a flight delay message and later, was informed that the flight is cancelled. There is no information from GoAir when will the money be refunded. I have written reminder emails and also informed on calling goair customer care number but yet to receive a reply till today (20th June 2021).
How can Aviation Authority of India allow them to keep booking tickets and let them fly inspite of over thousand such complaints! They have to be held accountable.

I booked ticket from Indore to Delhi on dated 07.06.2020 for 02 nos passengers but I received mail that due to Corona flight was cancelled. For refund related issue contact the customer care numbers. I tried to contact the customer care number many times but not respond.
So, in view of the above kindly arrange for short out the refund issue.

I am not happy with service of GoAir .I booked 3 tickets to my family from Abudhabi to kannur the actual departure time is 22:15 but flight is delayed more than 45minutes without any proper reasons,same thing happened last time I traveled from Abudhabi to kannur,the flight was delayed more than 45 minutes.its too bad and unacceptable we are booking tickets for prompt service.

It is really surprising for us when we reach at Gate 40A at 5.20 am in the morning – and we have denied to Board in aircraft very rudely that you are delayed and hence not allowed – will go from another flight today – the way gentlemen behaves it is not at all appreciated- however on several request he agreed and warned that next time you should on gate – it is surprising Boarding time is 5.05 am and departure time is 5.45 am . How some one told like this ? When we are on time – while typing this message time is 5.35 am and some guests are still coming – need to check and a reply towards the above will be appreciated from GO air line management which Hold s high repute in our mind . Further in boarding pass Gate no printed is 45B instead on 40 A

(b) Status :- Hold
(c) Amount of Rs 6549/= deducted from my account (Payment mode Net Banking).
(d) Transaction Reference No (of HDFC Bank) 190114498222 dated 11 Jan 19.
The booking has been cancelled by the Airline ticketing department stating that payment transaction not complete. Whereas the amount has been debited from my account and credited to CITRUS GO AIR gateway.
Do I have to initiation a fresh booking? How will the amount (for which ticket has not been generated) be refunded?

We called the GoAir Customer service department atleast 4 times to get our tickets cancelled & requested to provide a full Refund as an exception as there was a death in our family. We are in a very critical condition right now & need your assistance in getting full Refund as we will be unable to travel.
We contacted support & they have asked us to send our Refund request to [email protected] and I did write an e-mail to this team twice i.e., on 15th Nov & 19th Nov but have not got any response at all. When we called the support line, the rep informed us that the Refunds team will get back to us within 24-48 hours but it’s been exactly a week with no avail.
Please do the needful in getting this tickets cancelled (PNR Z5H49P, Travel Date: 24th Nov) asap and provide us a full Refund.

We have booked flight from Mumbai to Kochi for the journey on 28/01/17.While booking through online at our home,the OTP for making the payment had not received and as such I have again done the process and made the payment through pay citrus vide transaction no.700616631715 on 06/01/17 at 21.59 hrs.All these were done within 15 to 20 minutes of 1st booking.On 07/01/17 at 04.13 hrs I got a message from you that my PNR T76Y6G for flight G8-336 had been cancelled by you.I have sent 3 mails from my above ID to your reservations maid ID for this cancellation against my payment of Rs.9915/-which I confirmed from my bank M/S State bank of india.

My daughter was traveling on nagpur Mumbai flight on 8.12.15 at 9.20 am .when she reached there her checked in luggage lock seal was open and 12000Rs were robbed from her bag from two different purses,her whole bag was upside down.I have booked first time with Go air and had a very bad experience. In the complaint box I found multiple such complaints against Go air.

I am not happy with your service. I had booked 2 flight tickets for my parents via make my trip for 29 Nov at 12:40 Hours. This fligh was cancelled and i received no intimation about the same. Got to know this from one other passanger who happend to be my relative. When i called tje airlines, there is no option but to take a fllight early 9.30 AM or in the night 8:00 PM. Both the time is not feasable and as they are senior citizen and 12:40 was our preferred time. If I had know this, I would have opted for other fligh at the same time. I am disappointed with the service.Thankfully I got to know well before the date of travel.
This is in reference to complaint given on dated 17-08-13 ref no.IXC 1455.we traveled to a flight G 8-383 from Mumbai to Chandigarh our bag was detained at Mumbai airport without any reason and we came to know when we reached our destination at Chandigarh airport. First of all the staff of go air was not able to give any reason where the bag was. After a long search about an hour they came to a conclusion that the bag has been detained at Mumbai airport for some security reasons. We were informed the bag would be coming next day. And next day the bag finally arrived, the bag was given to us in a very shabby condition, there was a lady on the duty, who handed over the bag and told us to sign the yellow slip before handing the bag. Even I showed her the bag which was torn from various sides. she told me in response to write a complaint on a plain paper which she will forward to their head authority. When asked if she will mark a email copy to me, she refused stating that it will be forwarded appropriately. After asking number of times what was the reason to detain the bag, no particular reason was given. When I opened my bag there was few valuables missing. My Ray ban glasses ,my wife marriage bangles and her cosmetics were missing. If I calculate the worth of these items, appox Rs 14000 would be the cost of the valuables. Even after several visits to the airport, no particular reasons were given about the detention of our bag. Lastly they told us to contact Mumbai airport authority and ask the reason out there. I am really disappointed with the kind of service and the behavior of the airport staff of Go air. There is not even a facility of CC tv. Please look into the matter and let us know the reason why the bag was detained who was the person who has intentionally stolen our valuables. Please investigate into the matter or we are compelled to even go to the consumer forum or media.

While travelling through go air flight from mumbai to shrinagar ( via delhi ) flight no G8337 & G8 201 , on 04.05.13 , rupees 31000 ( cash ) were stolen from my baggage. Since then am following with go air officials and the Kesari tours & Travels ( my travel agency for this tour ) but nothing has been done till date.
I had revised my booking or myself and my son to early morning flight from Chennai to Mumabi as your flight on 18.08.2012 is cancelled. I have requested to send copy of the revised ticket on my this email id. But not received so far. How much time it should take to send a revised ticket? Very poor service.

With due respect to your company executive, we were constantly in touch with them for the past 5 days, with the assurance that the flight would fly in time from Chandigarh on 07th Jan’13 .
Further, to this,the Company officials also confirmed that, by looking into the present weather conditions, if the weather does’nt permit on the day of flight , the company officials would intimate to us atleast 48 hrs before hand , so that Company officials may make alternate arrangements for the travel. .
Surprisingly, it was only now i.e. 12 hrs before we got a call from the landline number
022-67281300 that flight is cancelled , and we shall have to reach New Delhi tomorrow ( 7th Jan’13 ) before 8 am if we want to board the flight, else the tickets will be null and void.
If you track our tickets, we had a plan to spend our precious time with family and kids at Goa for couple of days only , and not to create a mess, as it happened with Non Cooperation from your official staff.
After receiving a confirmation call from your Mumbai office number, we had to hurriedly pack our luggage ( as confirmation received only 12 hrs before hand) and by keeping our family’s life under the risk, due to dense fog, we made our arrangements for the travel from baddi and Chandigarh by road, requested from hotel near to Airport at New Delhi to accommodate for a night so that we may board the flight on 7th Jan’13 well in time from New Delhi for Goa.
As we paid the entire fare to your esteemed company from Chandigarh to Mumbai, AND drove by road from Chandigarh to New Delhi , spent the night at nearby Hotel, kept the entire family and kids under the extreme cold with sleepless night, we would now seek a refund of all expenses.
I have received message over phone that flight at 10.20 am on 18.08.2012 from Chennai to Mumbai is cancelled. I had requested for book my self and my son on the same day early morning flight at 5.20 am. I had also requested to send me ticket immediately on this email id also. But not received so far.
Your Go Air staff at Jammu Airport needs help. They offer pathetic service.

I am regular passenger for GoAir Airlines since last year, I mostly travel between Delhi – Pune. I appreciate your ground and on board service.
I need your help, as my head office of Volkswagen India is located in Pune, so for travelling reimbursement purposes all boarding passes had been couriered to Pune from Delhi but unfortunately somehow the consignment got misplaced during transit. As per the travel policy it is required to produce the boarding passes for my travelling reimbursement process.
