Today I visited costco and there was a line up going inside (people showing the membership cards). On any regular day I would pull it out but today there was a hold up, so I just went in saying “I have 2 cards” when she asked me for mine. Then she answered it was policy to show it but I continued walking to grab my quick shopping and then felt bad for doing that. On my way out, I went to her and apologized showing her my 2 membership. Then I shared my frustration of having to line up to enter, then to cash out and then leave. Even sometime when I am holding my one year old child they ask me for the card when entering. I absolutely hate it. It is unnecessary! Maybe instead of insisting that we show our card at the entrance a gentle reminder saying “please ensure you have your card with you so you don’t get stuck in the checkouts”.
I sent a 2 page letter on December l6,2012 to the Corporate office in Issaguah and have not heard a response. I would hope that someone would have forwarded this letter to the right person. Is it Costco’s policy not to answer complaint letters? Seems so!!
My complaint was regarding an actual check that was handed back to me by cashier and then the rest of Costco considered this bill not paid. Look into my original complaint.
I purchased a package of “Okami” california rolls (sushi) from the Mesa store and probably should have known better. It was fresh, but the rice part of the sushi roll was gelantinous and the whole thing was tasteless and not appetizing at all. I threw them away. I dont think you should stock this product. It is not up to the standard of other Costco products which I think is generally very good
