The service, run by Port Imperial Ferry, each day carries around 30,000 commuters. It started its journey in 1986. The ferry sails 365 days a year, from 6.30 am to 10 pm. Weekend services are available on Saturday and Sunday from Midtown to Downtown.

The ferry service helps you avail the offer of valet parking and self-parking free of cost. If you did not find your luggage after reaching your destination, please feel free to contact the support by giving detailed information of your lost items and the day of journey. Generally, the lost items are held for one month. As for booking tickets, you can book one in a hassle-free manner for your ferry journey by using the NY Waterway app. The app also facilitates your journey by offering terminal maps, routes, notifications, and schedule. If the app does not work owing to technical issue, passengers need to buy a paper ticket. Do not forget to collect your receipt while purchasing a ticket. Children below the age of 5 years can travel free of cost. They have to fill up an application at any NY Waterway ticket office.

All one-way tickets expire one month after the day of buying. Passengers have to pay $2.75 for a ticket. Tickets can be purchased on your smartphone by installing the NY Waterway app. Payment for tickets can be made using any major credit card. For the uninitiated, you should activate your ticket as soon as you are in the terminal. All tickets purchased through app will be added to your account.
