In the past 1.5 years my husband and I have gone through 4 LifeProof cases. The rubber on the sides tends to slough off over time. My most recent case only lasted a few months as the screen of my iphone would go black and be unable to be used unless I pried the case apart to remove the clear cover. I cleaned it daily but this problem persisted. My husband’s case (most recent version) the rubber edges are breaking off. I have switched to Otter Box and a glass screen. It is hoped that you either discontinue the product or change the design to enable it to last longer.
