Firstly I booked a property and the booking order number is VRQN2293. I visited this property with my wife and the room was smelling alcoholic and smoking smell. So we decided to leave the property without complaining to the hotel manager as he was arrogant. We immediately called Oyo service centre and an agent from oyo picked and we asked to cancel our booking. The agent advised us to call a customer care number and press 2. We followed the service agent instruction and proceeded cancelling the room. The customer service agent also confirmed we will get full refund if we call to the number she gave.
After cancelling we did check the oyo app and it showed no refund. So immediately we connected to multiple managers. First manager who spoke said as per policy you will not get refund. Second manager said you have to book a new rooms to get the refund money for previous booking, as we were not interested in booking another we denied and asked for a call back from another higher manager. Third manger we connected again and she confirmed you will be initiated 344 rupees for refund and she said you will not get full refund . However this amount can be refunded. We again requested a call back from senior manager . She noted my points and she confirmed that I will get call back in next 2 hours. But never I did.
Fourth manger we connected and he scheduled a call after 2 hours. However we waited and didnโt get the call when we need. But it was beyond 2 hours of time and we got call at 10:30pm in night and it was late. As we made multiple attempts to call why canโt customer service agent or manager call back to us immediately or try again another time. And next day morning if we check the ticket is closed.
Iโm very disappointed with the service OYO provided me.
I have booked one hotel in Delhi and paid in advance and have to cancel the booking because that Oyo was not getting located on maps. Then I booked another hotel and paid in advance, but the hotel denied me to check-in because it was full. I had to cancel the booking. Now both refund is pending and not able to connect to any customer care support and don’t know the status of my refund. Poor customer service.
I had booked a room in Oyo Rooms Roy and Roy Guest House, Lindsay Road, Kolkata. But when I reached there the manager said I have pending amount of Rs 840/- and Rs 3660/-.I was shocked. I had booked 7 rooms under booking ID : V6FJ8293 at Zion Residencey (OYO086345), when we reached the destination we found that there is no such kind of hotel and it was closed 2 years back but the booking was available up to last week.
Refund has been sanctioned only 50%. Which is not good, since the entire fault is their end. they deducted 50% of the advance amount.

I have booked hotel with reference no FU1M6947 (Ticket Id : 2229312272) through oyo app. I had a very bad experience on 16/08/2022. The hotel (Oyo Town Hall 381, Dilshad garden, Delhi) is literally smelling and had damped wall, broken floor, pan masala everywhere in room. They didnโt change that room even after complaint for change. Bad staff treating customers like servants, they cut the water supply at midnight , didnโt provide basic need of water. And the Oyo customer support is so inefficient, they cannot resolve the issue. If you canโt handle the company kindly shutter so we can go elsewhere.

We four senior citizens booked a hotel in Hyderabad named Shannu residency. Booking id is ZB8T1381. When we reached the hotel they asked for full payment, then they showed the rooms, which were absolutely not up to the mark. Dirt and wine bottles were scattered. Not family friendly property. We called OYO and they had redirected us to another hotel Prestige in SD road. The new hotel gave no relaxation on it’s charges. We were helpless at the midnight 1am. OYO had promised to refund the amount of the previous hotel as soon as we checked out from the hotel where they had redirected. We’ve checked out and still waiting for refund. A question raises here how do you give your reputed franchise to such places which are not up to the mark. How difficult it is for senior citizens when they when they reach some where at late night in the surety of OYO and get deceived.

This is Somayajulu from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. I booked on OYO app, the hotel name is Ammai Hotel, Thiruvannamalai for the pilgrim tour. I paid Rs. 1196 on 30/5/2022. OYO app says your booking is confirmed. On 13 July 2022 (i.e. the my tour date and also I booked the room for this date) I went to this room with family, but they denied to give us the room. They said, โWe are not tied up with OYOโ. Then I called to OYO customer Care No. 9313931393 at 1.56PM on 13th July, 2022. But they have not responded with resolve. No accommodation. Just imagine what is my situation at that time. I take offence at your service. We struggled a lot at that time.
Worst experience in it. There are not providing solutions. When I am trying to connect with customer care they kept me on hold for long time and then disconnecting automatically. They are also taking with rude manner. Stop this business if you are not good in it.
I had the same issue as other commenter. I had booked a hotel on 8th july but hotel staff didnt let me stay by telling that we are not tied up with oyo anymore.I called customer care and they replied that i will process the refund and made me book other oyo hotel by paying again. its 4 days and no refund. Customer care will not give you any reply. Line will get dropped by telling this is not department for registering complaints and will forward call to complaint dept but line gets dropped.

Worst experience with OYO. One of my friend booked a hotel room with oyo and when he reached the hotel, the hotel manager told him that the oyo has charged very less amount and your booking has been cancelled. We cannot give you a room. Because of oyo and hotels dispute/misunderstanding the customer is suffering at 2 pm and oyo didn’t give any kind of help. Worst service provider. I’m trying to contact oyo customer care but no response. I booked an oyo room in chennai named capital 0 87208 hotel silver key executive. I booked that hotel from oyo app and after reaching hotel they were asking for extra money and not allowing us. And before coming also we confirmed our booking. The room photo is also totally different from what we got.
