I am a proud user of one of Nokia’s Limited edition Gold Arte 8800 e-1 keypad Phone. Until recently when my brother entered a security code and it got locked.
It has been almost 2 years since I am searching for a solution for the same. I am unable to Hard reset the phone as I have tries all the things available online.
I also took the phone to Nokia Care Centre located in my city and they were unable to help me out. I purchased this phone back in 2010 on a trip to Singapore. I love this phone and it feels great and elegant in my pocket.
I ask myself Why isn’t there a full fledged Nokia retail store in Singapore?. There used to be one at Funan mall and they sold all models Nokia made. Now when I go to Singapore for business all I see is nothing but CRAP!! Samsung, Huawei, Vivo, Oppo, ZTE, and Apple…all crap. Nokia has made new products, new batteries, regrouped in its technology and YET no retail shops. What happened Singapore? You have lost so much professional integrity and all cell phones are Chinese. What happened to freedom of choice? To hell with online crap. I want to see the phone, hold the phone…is there TOO much to ask? When will Nokia come back to Singapore full on? When flights reopen to Singapore again I want to buy a Nokia phone again….HELP
I have bought a Nokia 7+ around Jul’18 at the Causeway Point M1 Shop. However, in recent weeks, there is a problem with my battery. The battery currently drains off too fast. I have a habit of shutting off my phone before I go to bed. Therefore I usually make sure that the phone is fully charged before. However, after I woke up in the morning the battery power has dropped to less than 50%. I have tried to put in airplane mode and safe mode and the problem still persist. I understand that the battery is in-built and would like to find out if changing the battery is possible.
On 14th May, 2012 between 1715hrs and 1815hrs, I was at Nokia care centre at Pragin Mall Penang. My handphone Nokia X6 repair needs were assessed and cost estimated by the Customer Service Agent at the counter in consultation with a technician there. Repair cost estimated at RM200 inclusive of service charges amounting to RM50. I was asked to retain my handphone and only produce when the spare parts arrived. But, I was issued with an unofficial receipt i.e. general receipt which could be easily obtained from any stationary shop and no stamping performed. I brought up this issue with your customer service online agent reference no. 1-1-23458-78162 and further I also spoke to Ms.Ester from your Perai Nokia Care Centre. But, I am not at all convinced with their explanation and direction hence I am reporting to your office. I was asked by Ms.Ester to collect my RM50 and wait for the spare parts to
arrive. But, the core issue here is the protocol in attending such service request by your customers. In my experience with other electronic service centre companies where a detailed bill of Service for Repair is issued to the client. I seek an explanation as I sought the repair service at Nokia Care Centre for bonafide parts and quality service but the actions of your staff and the procedures suggest there could possibly be some irregularities in existence. An earlier customer was issued with a printed copy in red but it wasn’t the case for me. I am a security manager in OSRAM Penang, a subsidary of Siemens and it is my moral responsibility to bring this to your attention. I have brought this matter to the attention of Nokia Siemens Network Ethics Hotline on May 15, 2012. I received a reply from Kirpal Aparna and Kirpal assured to refer the matter to Ethics & Compliance Office Nokia but until today there has been no action or what so ever. Please help or I will be compelled to take this matter to the consumer tribunal. Thanks.
I have a Nokia E7 mobile phone. Please advice whether this model is able to browse the Internet.
I’m not IT savvy as i’m already passed middle age group . I fear to go to your Nokia Centre at Harbour front because your people over there are not helpful as those young men/women look down on old people like us.
I have been there to get help but all the staff are not helpful.
Can you tell me who should I look for a caring person in helping people like me to
upgrade my Nokia H/phone.
