About KFC
Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) was founded by Harland Sanders in the US. The KFC original recipe, made with secret blend of 11 herbs and spices, took birth in the year 1940. KFC is today world’s largest chicken restaurant chain. In fact each day more than 12 million customers are served at KFC restaurants in 109 countries. KFC runs more than 15,000 units around the world. The fast food restaurant had revenue of over $11 billion in 2008. Read More
I ordered a bucket of chicken fir a 235pm delivery time. My 92 year old mother waited but no one showed up. No one called me to let me know the order was delayed. I called Customer Service 5 times. My call was dropped or sent to a voice mail that was no longer accepting messages. Finally I spoke to the manager who apologized. Not acceptable! When the driver finally showed up, he left the order outside in freezing winter weather and didn’t even ring the doorbell.
I received the worst box meal from KFC. Chicken was substandard…over cooked..fries didn’t even cover the bottom of the box. In short Harland is rolling over in his grave. Shame on KFC in Thunderbay
I went to a kfc store and tried to order with a coupon and they informed me that they donโt take the coupon. I have been there previously and was no problem with the coupon. Why send out coupon when they are no good or stores do not accept? My last visit until I get some answer as for phoning customer service I canโt even get a number to talk to someone about this. For a large company very poor pr so I guess it McDonaldโs from now on.
Hi, I’m a regular customer at KFC Store No: 1395, located at 6055, Creditview Road, Mississauga, ON – L5V 2A8. I am a regular customer at the store and well versed with KFC Canada’s protocols and guidelines, as my husband is an ex KFC-TB, General Manager from Ontario.
My last couple of visits at this location is worth mentioning, as the service and staff behaviour I’ve received two consecutive times, has left me with a feeling of hatred for this store and their staff. Such disappointing and inappropriate was the behaviour of the staff, that my children who are KFC addicts, have sweared of never visiting this store which is 5 mins from my house.
On 4th May, I visited the store in the evening and ordered 2 Popcorn Poutine Fill-Ups. It was quite evident, that the girl at the cash counter was new and untrained as she fumbled to locate the Fill-Up button on the screen. After a brief struggle and after adding and deleting this simple order for a while, finally my order was placed. I picked it up, came back home only to find out that both my orders were regular poutine fill ups with few drops of gravy on top. Dry, cold and messy.
I took the meal back to get the correct order. Upon my arrival, I was told that I’ve been charged only for a regular poutine fill up and not a popcorn fill up. I agreed to return the wrong order back to them, pay for the balance, and pick the correct order.
At this, the manager on duty (the shift manager on 4th May evening, I haven’t noticed her name), was called by the girl at the counter to attend us.
And the way that lady behaved, was just shocking. Because, I know what customers mean in a food industry. And specially KFC, as I always used to hear from my husband, how politely he would handle any issues that would arise and apologize to the customer for any mistake. “Customer First”, that’s what KFC Canada harps on, right? But I suppose, this manager on duty has skipped this lesson during her managership training.
She told me that I should have checked the order before taking. But never said a word to the girl at the counter who actually took the wrong order. Then, I was asked what did I order…I said ” Popcorn Chicken Fill-Up” and my young daughter also at the same time said, “Chicken Poutine Fill-Up”. At this the manager furiously told me, that why are we not taking the correct name of the product. I wonder, as a customer do we have to get any training from KFC before ordering food, on how to correctly pronounce the name of a menu item? I still can’t figure out, is there a big difference between “Popcorn Chicken Fill-Up” or a “Chicken Poutine Fill-Up”? May be, that’s the new KFC policy, that customers should get training more than their managers and staff.
That wasn’t the end. When I requested to pay the balance money and get my right order, the manager told me it was my mistake and I should have checked the order while it was being placed and delivered. The worst dialogue that came from her, which was told to me and my daughter was (exact words)…”You keep on standing and waiting…We’re not going to attend you as we are busy, or replace and give you the correct meal. When you get tired, you’ll automatically go”. These were her exact words. It was humiliating as there were other customers standing who witnessed the entire episode.
After waiting in disgust for sometime, I was given the right order as I felt like a beggar who was just trying to pay and get the right dinner for her daughters. I promised, never to visit that store again in my life.
This raises several questions on the seriousness and professionalism of the staff and food that KFC Canada is serving. Mistakes, do happen…but not every time. In food and hospitality industry, if managers do not have some basic courtesy and know how to apologise on their misbehaviour, that too when it was a mistake at their end, then I feel, KFC should go back to the basics and start training their staff from the scratch.
I called Kfc on the phone to place an order for delivery. The lady at the call center placed the order through to the store out on hyde park for delivery by 12:45 pm.
Between 1 – 1:30 pm the delivery order for my chicken still did not arrive. I made phone calls to the call center for the next 45 minutes with no avail. they patch me through the store numerous times with no answer along with emails supposedly stating to have someone call me. No body ever answered the phone at the store and no phone calls were ever received back from anyone.
To top it all of … the chicken order i had placed was … never delivered at any time.
The best part of the whole thing is that the charges for my order was put onto my credit card. These charges was never refunded.
What happened to customer service?! Ordered online got a confirmation that oder was received, 1 hr later it says there is no delivery and then try calling customer service to see if I can get refund because I can’t leave the house….another hour and a half still waiting…..unacceptable
Ordered online 1.25 hours prior to my pick-up time. Got to the store and they hadn’t even looked at my order. Took 30 minutes to prepare my $135.00 order! Covid19 protocols have been in place long enough now that this never should have happened. What is the point of online ordering when I could have just gone in and ordered? Took the same amount of time. Absolutely NOT a happy customer.
Wellington and Southdale in London Ontario. This store is the worst in my experience. I made an order which totalled $75+, when I received it finally about an hour an a half after ordering, the chicken was missing most of its coating and was cold. The fries were uncooked and the gravy was pure water. ( even after cooling the gravy was water) I called and asked to speak with management and was then called โsirโ. After correcting the โmanager โ (used loosely), I heard a click in response. I then called head office…try finding that number. I was then told that a rep would follow up within Two business days. Today is Wednesday, October 9, 2019. The occurrence was last Thursday or Friday. Still waiting for a response. I am sharing my story with Everyone who has ordered from KFC that I know. This is unacceptable. Period. What ever happened to Customer Satisfaction?
Well, needless to say I am extremely disappointed in the KFC location at 26 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL. I’ve had this experience twice now at this same location.
Last night, after driving back to St John’s from out of town, my husband and I decided that we’d like to have some KFC as our family hadn’t eaten in hours. Because we were driving all day, we arrived at the KFC at 9:45pm. There was also a car ahead of me. They were only there a moment and drove off. I thought that was a little odd.
I drove into the drive through and asked for a Mixed Bucket Feast and drinks. The lady inside promptly stated in a manor like she was tired of repeating herself, as I repeat, “I can give your fries and drinks but we have no chicken left because we close in 15 minutes.” What?? But you’re open for another 15 mins I stated. it doesn’t take that long to cook chicken does it? She told me that they had all the fryers shut down now for half an hour and were cleaned up for the evening. So that means they shut everything down at 9:15??
I asked since everything was shut down, where were the fries would be coming from and she said that they had some they could reheat. Seriously??
I told her that if the restaurant was open till 10pm, that they should serve full menu till 10pm. not stop at 9:15pm to start to clean up. Clean up should start as soon as they close at 10pm and not before. She stated that they always do that because otherwise, they would be there too late cleaning. That’s not my problem. I am a customer and should be treated and respected as such, not as a nuisance. Anyway like I said, this happened before, several months ago and I just let it go but not this time. This deserves to be reported.
Went to KFC in Oakville on 330 Dundas Street for the second time. Ordered exactly the same thing Bill 112 and Bill 120 However, the charge on the first bill came up to 6.77, on the second bill a month later 9.92 which is a 46.6% increase. Tried calling KFC four different numbers before I got the right one. Someone said that they were going to have a manager call me, this was three days ago. I am now writing a letter to the BBB because no business should be allowed to operate where customers are mistreated.
Ordered the $34.99 18 piece meal…I swear to God they changed the recipe.. Sure didn t taste like kfc ive had all my life, bland, no spice at all..not even salt. I ate three pieces, yep all bland. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot, that recipe is what made kfc successful and hadn t changed since i was a kid. Now at 56.. it sucks…I had some kfc at a different location and it was awesome.. The Mcormond road location sucks, wont order again.
What kind of business do you run??? I drove at least 5 miles past our โshitty โ kfc in Gatineau to go to another location. I attempted to order a 2 piece meal ,wanted white meat, was informed no more white meat that evening…. only brown meat.. So I walked out once again from a chicken store that doesnโt have what is listed on the menu. It seems in Gatineau our chickens are mutations with 10 legs. I hope that Popeyes will stand and deliver what they put on a menu. This is not a one time incident…Just wondering how this joke of a restaurant/chain could still be in business? It appears itโs more important to have a good ad instead of acceptable food.
i grew up with a KFC on my street in the 70’s (11th avenue lachine Qc.) that’s when KFC had something special but now like many other product you want that same quality but it’s not there anymore, the product still exist but the taste or quality is gone. you try and you try again but it’s gone and it’s not coming back. now it’s all show and no substance. i can tell you that i’m finish trying with KFC; what a load of crap that is. the colonel recipe is long gone. i went to KFC on shevshenko (lasalle, Qc.) and it’s absolutely not
colonel sanders recipe that i’m absolutely sure of. that place should be paid a visit. 34$ down the drain.
i rarely order from restaurant anymore cause i feel i’m setting myself up for disapointment. 3 times out of 4 i’m disapointed so what’s the use.
I hope this finds the correct department. Wanted to go on the KFC website to address my concerns but your Comment Section was not allowing me to input anything so I am emailing instead. This afternoon at 3pm I entered your establishment on Erie Street in Windsor which I had never visited before. Went up to place my order and the woman behind the cash was very agitated. A woman peaked her head out from the back and asked if she had it. The cashier then sternly stated, I’m the only one in here doing all this by myself! The lady in the back just left. She then sighed and took our order. There were 2 people prior to us who had placed their order. We sat in a disgusting filthy booth waiting. About 10 minutes later the cashier came from the back to give the lady her order, looked at the receipt and said damn, you ordered a poutine, I need to drop that in. She then left from the front to the back, never once washing her hands. The lady then turned to us and said, she is in there all by herself while the manager is in the back doing paperwork. She has been running both since I got here. She then came back and gave the lady her order. She was ready to give us our order and once again forgot to drop the fries for the poutine and did not know we had ordered a wrap. She said, I’m sorry, I’m very forgetful. She asked if we had our pops yet. We said no and ordered 2 diet Pepsi’s. She poured the diet Pepsi’s. Once we got them the cups were half full and tasted terrible. The lady from the back then came up again to ask the cashier how to import data. The cashier said she would show her after. The (manager?) then walked back and she walked past our fries, and grabbed a couple and popped them in her mouth!!!! We were appalled. We finally got our order and I asked for my receipt which was thrown in the garbage. She printed out another one for me. Threw a couple of free cookies on top of our order and said, sorry bout the wait. This entire time another worker with a KFC shirt was sitting reading a book and the manager in the back.
Someone and something NEEDS to be done about this establishment. You need proper training, the manager there needs to be fired! Employees need training on hygiene just to mention a few.
I have never experienced this in my life and will be following up.
P.S
When we got our order, we had poutines instead of fries and the wrap was burnt. Wasted $29.45 at Store 1449.
Signed,
Mary Foldesi
I am incredibly disappointed with KFC. Iโm disappointed with the staff, Iโm disappointed with the food, Iโm disappointed with the delivery, and Iโm disappointed with their customer service.
My concerns deal specifically with the location on Highland Rd in Kitchener, ON.
In September I had an experience at this store that I found completely offensive and unacceptable. The staff at this location are rude, and racist. One worker was complaining, LOUDLY, about foreigners… so loudly that she could be heard throughout the entire restaurant. Apparently she thinks people who don’t speak English shouldnโt be allowed to use the drivethru. At one point she yelled “Just give him a damn Sprite!”. The worker manning the drivethru yelled into her headpiece “you’re getting Sprite, ok?”
The rest of the staff just laughed with her.
I told myself that I would never visit this location again.
Oh, the food was terrible too. Very tough and dry. Like it had been sitting out all day.
Fast forward three months, to my daughterโs 7th birthday. We have a tradition in our house that, on your birthday, you can have ANYTHING you want for dinner. My daughter requested KFC.
Because there was on online delivery special, we decided to stay home and order delivery. We were not given the option of specifying which location we would like to order from. The order went to, you guessed it, the location on Highland Rd. We placed our order at 5:15 PM, and were told to expect 40 minutes for delivery. At 6:15 we still had no food. I called the store to see what the delay was, and the phone rang for about 10 minutes before I finally gave up. I then called the general KFC delivery number, and they said โlet me look into that for youโ. I was on hold for another 15 minutes before I hung up and called again. Again, on hold for 10 minutes. I called a third time, and told the service rep that I was losing my patience. At this point we had been waiting over an hour and a half for our food to arrive. He told me that there was nothing he could do except transfer me to the location in question. I explained that this wasnโt going to work for me… that Iโd spent over 30 minutes on hold with them and that they werenโt answering their phone. I told him to cancel our order and have a manager contact me the following day.
My kids needed to eat dinner & get to bed. If I was going to have to make other dinner plans, I wanted to know. I didnโt have time to fuck around on the phone any more. I was livid.
At 7:00 our delivery arrived, just as I was looking for something else to feed my daughter ON HER BIRTHDAY.
The delivery guy told me that they hadnโt even processed my order until 6:10. The receipt validated that fact. Even then, it took them almost an hour to deliver my food.
I will NEVER order from KFC again. They could offer me free food for a year and I would not accept it.
This is a bullshit company on every level. Col Sanders is rolling in his grave.
Hi KFC,
I just had the ultimate mispleasure of placing an order on your website. We placed it at 6:43pm EST (at least that’s what time we got the confirmation, letting us know that order 1201035 would be delivered in 40 minutes). AT 8:07pm EST, my wife mentioned that it had been over an hour. So I called the store…it rang and rang and rang and rang. I called again. It rang and rang and rang and rang. Then, someone picks up, tells me “yo…I’ll call you back later.” How are they going to call me back…they don’t have my number, name or order info. Whatever. Irrelevant. So, I call the customer service line and they tell me that they can’t help me…I have to contact the store. They then put me on hold on hold, and the most unpleasant person picks up.
I tell her my story and tell her that at this point, considering the email stated ’40 minutes’ I tell her that I’m simply not paying for the order. I figure 90+ minutes to deliver an order of fried chicken, soggy fries and a warm watered down drink warrants a free meal. She says no…the most she can offer me is 20% off the meal. Seriously? 20 fucking percent off of a meal that cost me $30? Why not just kick me in the balls instead.
You can trust me when I say it’ll be a cold, cold day in hell before I give KFC any of my hard earned cash. Quite frankly, Col. Sanders can suck my dick.
ORDER: 1201035
I SPOKE WITH: Sonam – Asst Manager, Store 1394.
I ordered from a KFC in mississauga for delivery, and after 1 hour and 18 mins I called the store to find out what was going on. (this location is about 5 mins from my house)
The service rep who was quite rude explained to me that her driver was late from another order and therefore they were just putting my food in the oven now……. let me get this straight, after an hour and 20 mins they are just cooking my food now? And I wouldn’t have known about it unless I called them? They had the nerve to ask me if I wanted a free potato salad for the trouble. I refused their grabage salad and really just wanted to feed my hungry guests. I just want to know, who gets reprimanded for this huge blunder? Who has to answer to the customer when they order food and it takes 2 hours to get to a house 5 mins away?? This is so bad on every level of customer service. I will never order a thing or visit your restaurant again. To top it off the delivery guy didn’t have any change and wanted me to give him a 10 dollar tip!! Wtf???
I was passing the KFC/Taco Bell at 1275 Portage Ave, went through drive thru and on the menu board in the drive thru I seen this huge round roll with hamburger and cheese oozing out of the end called the chili cheese burrito.
This was what I ordered, and what I got was a wrap that was folded and folded and folded 4 times around maybe 1 or 2 tablespoons of meat and cheese.
This to me is false advertising when you picture this big luscious round YUMMY burrito, filled with meat and cheese and oozing out of the end of the burrito and what I got to eat was 99 % burrito and 1 % meat and cheese that the burrito had been folded 4 times to contain a fraction of the meat that is advertised on the board. I will tell you now that I threw out 80 % of the burrito because there was absolutely NO MEAT filling on it.
If you have changed your chili cheese burrito so that it is not as it is pictured on your menu board, then you should change the picture to reflect your updated item and not mislead people as to what it is that they are ordering. ———SUCH AS HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. It WILL be the last time i ever order that menu item.
I had previously contacted you regarding a horrible experience I had at your Grand Falls-Windor, NL location. It was about your “Big Boss” meal. It and the fries were cold and the chicken was so sparse and cold, each piece would definitely fill ONE bun together. It was awful. I don’t need to go into any further detail as you already have my previous email from several moths ago. I have given you ample time to contact me .But anyway, I am contacting you AGAIN regarding this as I have not heard anything from you. Now I am fed up. I have already contacted the NTV News to which I have an interview set up as well as several other medias to let the public know about my experience. I have spoken to numerous residents of that town who also had the same experience as me. You claim to be an upstanding company? Rea|lly? Not in my opinion. If you have any common courtesy, you can contact me either by email or phone 709 257 4667. I had tried going to your “contact us” page but there is no way to submit!!!
Disgusted ex-customer,
B Pinsent
I am very distraught with KFC in Winnipeg and we will never buy your products ever again. Instead, we’ll order from your competition. We live on Sherburn at St Matthews in winnipeg and wanted to place a flippen order for delivery and they said there is no delivery service in our area. This is very disappointing and like I said because of this, I refuse to purchase food from youin the future.
Good afternoon,
I was just at this location, Highway 10 Cloverdale BC Canada ordered a zinger box meal, with coleslaw and poutine. I thought i was getting 2 chicken wings , to my surprise i get a chicken strip, and was told that they dont carry chicken wings. I go sit down and start eating and find out my fries were dark and most definately double deep fried, bad taste. I dig into my burger, which was falling apart and soggy, i open the bun up and find two chicken strips?…….first of all i have been to this location before and the few times i have been there its been the same poor quality and the staff were not so friendly,…and quite rude on one occasion.
This time i said something and brought the food back and asked why i have two chicken strips? they said that’s the way it’s being done now? your advertisement doesnt say that and nor was i told. I have eaten many of these and it always is a chicken breast breaded, not manufactured small chicken strips. The manager lady who was working wasn’t very smart on how she dealt with this, she looked and sounded like she was in defensive mode?….for what?…because you served me garbage? ….she did ask me if i wanted my money back in a very non caring like Attitude….. like she hates her job? pfff crazy… i declined because i will never go to this location again, as i feel it is sub standard. in the past i have worked in hotels and restaurants for 12 years, in every position. I have also eaten alot of KFC and know what standard is! People adapt to a common service for any multiple of franchise restaurants. This place is very Uncommon. It really is about my money going to the next deserving restaurant , the owner is literally throwing money away.
I will tell you this, i will never go to this location again, I am not looking for a free meal either! It actually pisses a guy off to see how negative people get and dont strive to do something better, i dont see any passion or motivation or even problem solving skills, not even a smile. This place needs some work, Personally, i would fire the managers if i owned that business….because it has trickled down to the staff!.
Please clarify the actual ingredients in the meals, and also have a look at better informing people, changing the advertisements if that’s the case ! Lastly, someone needs to go in there and “IMPACT” the staff, watch quality control, maybe retraining on customer service skills and a course on how to get better results out of your staff?…………..
Signed
will not throw away my money again on this
cheers
I ordered from a restaurant in Thompson, Manitoba. I ordered my usual tooney tuesday and then was told that it was no longer available. I asked if they had discontinued the promotion and was rudely told that it had not been discontinued but that it ended at 7pm. This meal being my usual order i know that normally i dont order till after 8. So in questioning this he told me that his staff were unaware of this rule and were serving it. I then said that this was not acceptable and he told me that there was nothing that he could do about it. I was not impressed that he was so rude with me and i will not be ordering from this store any longer.
I went to kfc in Hamilton on Barton st . I ordered my meal and they said it would be about 20 min. i waited 45min. In that 45min , I watched 2 other families walk in order and leave with buckets of chicken ( what i was waiting for ) I asked to speak to the manager Andrew who kindly placed the blame on his staff and told me to call whomever , he couldnt care less. Thanks KFC , never again
I have gone recently to KFC for a Tuesday Special and found the food to be like yesterdays warmed-up leftovers. The chicken was dry and I don’t think there was any of the so-called herbs and spices either. It stricks me that the chicken was frozen and cooked up, rather than fresh chicken. Now I know what real great KFC can be, because I often get it across the border in Michigan in Port Huron, U.S.A. and it is absolute perfection. So there’s something dead wrong in Sarnia and Forest, Ontario. Jim G.
I went to the KFC location on St.Mary’s street In Winnipeg.
I purchased the 8 piece bucket with Medium fries. The service was fast and friendly. The food was hot and very tasty.
My disappointment was that 5/8 of the pieces were a wing or a drumstick. The wings were incredibly small. There were no breasts in the bucket.
I feel this count was too high.Is this what we are too expect?
Thank you
Hi, my name is Laurie. I went into the Gravenhurst kfc location to redeem a free sandwich coupon on Jan 11th. it says on the voucher that you get a free sandwich as it was handed out by kfc employees. No where on this voucher does it say you have to purchace anything. When I tried to redeem my voucher the employee(Vanessa) told me that I had to buy at least a 3 piece meal in order to use my voucher. I challenged her saying that it does not say that anywhere on the coupon and she shrugged her shoulders, i then told her she cannot do that because its wrong and the voucher clearly says Free Sandwich Voucher. She then told me that they are allowed to do that because head office told them to. I am very disappointed because i promised my kids a sandwich and had no money to buy the 8 dollar 3 piece meal that they told me I had to buy in order to get my free sandwich. I was so embarrased as there were several other people in line that i walked out of the store with my head down. It is appaling what they think they can do to people.
I was currently in red deer and thought hey why not order some kfc for my son and I for dinner. He only likes popcorn chicken fries and gravy. The food arrived a hour later with no popcorn chicken and the fries were not cooked. I was very upset so calling back I asked to speak to the manager. He came on the phone saying ” I packed the bag everything was there” I kept telling him no it wasnt then went on to tell him about the fries. I had told him I was going to contact head office, he said ” fine, do what you want and hung up”. I will never order from kfc anywhere that I am. You are working in a food establishment and things should be done correctly. I am extremely disappointed and now have to go out of my way to get dinner for a screaming child. Not cool.

Hi I went to KFC on Weston an Finch on Monday to buy a 15 PC family meal when I get there cashier told me that they have no macaroni salad only thing that me and my family eat except for the other salad then the guy in the back say I have to wait for 15 min for chicken, then another lady was there and she said that she waiting for 20 min when the cashier told its only 10 min, Its ridiculous when you have to wait for so long. I got very upset that and I walk out the store the cashier know me very well I am a usual customer I go there once a week but recently I don’t like the service so from now on I will go to a different location where I can serve faster
To Whom it May Concern:
I visited the KFC/Taco Bell location at the northwest corner of Yonge and Steeles Avenue West in Thornhill on the evening of Friday, January 20th at 6:55 pm, and ended up leaving without dinner.
My mother and I had placed our order and paid, but a comment made by an employee (I assume he was the supervisor on duty) made me request a refund and leave.
I am a vegetarian and I asked the man at the cash if the veggie patty was available at this location, and he did confirm it was. I further inquired if the veggie patty was fried in the chicken oil, and the gentleman did confirm that it was. I was disappointed, but happy that he was honest enough to tell me the truth – kudos to him. I settled with ordering a taco bell combo instead, a KFC combo for my mom, and a coleslaw. (The cashier also confirmed that the french fries that came with the combo were also fried in the same oil as the meat, so I requested the nachos as my side.) I will agree, I probably did ask more questions than the average customer, and the employee was kind enough to answer them.
However, when another man who appeared to be the supervisor came over (he was not wearing a name tag, but said his name was Eric – a middle aged man who appeared to be of Middle Eastern background), shooed the cashier away telling him that that you cannot spend so much time with one customer. Then he took over the cash, turned to us, hastily gave us our receipt and said that they cannot spend so much time with us when there are so many people in the line. When we turned around, there were only two others in the line. I found that so repulsive, I immediately requested my money back (which was quickly returned to me), and left.
If the ‘veggie’ patty, was indeed vegetarian, I would not have to spend so much time asking questions. But honestly, that is not even my issue here. Even if there were a line, customer service should still be honored, but there was barely any line and this man was not able to handle it.
This is customer service at its worst. I have never received such treatment from any restaurant – sit down, nor fast food – and the behavior of this supervisor is not only demeaning, but also unacceptable. Especially considering that this is a more elite location, it is even more shocking. The waiting customers were also so surprised with the events, that they rolled their eyes and smiled at my mother and I.
Whenever I visit restaurants, I do ask questions of this sort and it has never been an issue. Even when I visit establishments in neighborhoods of a lower socio-economic status, they have time to answer my questions without attitude, and the managers never scolded their employees for spending time with me.
If the Colonel were alive, this type of service would not be tolerated. He must be rolling in his grave right now.
Maybe my $16 purchase was too unimportant for this manager. Perhaps if it were a $30 family meal I was purchasing, then I might have been able to ask my questions without rude comments. But as someone who studied management, I always thought that all customers were important. Or maybe I’m just a misled individual.
Either way, I am so appalled by this manager, that I have already started telling my family and friends not to support the KFC/Taco Bell chain, and most definitely NOT the Thornhill location.
Sincerely,
Extremely Disappointed Customer
