Did WAWA loose a bet? Richmond VA. airport store was ONCE a friendly, fast pace store but not anymore! The best I can say about this store is that it ONLY took TWENTY FIVE MINUTES to get my sandwich today. I don’t think I will return to or go out of my way to find a WAWA nor will I let anyone I know think WAWA still cares about it’s customers
I was at the store located at 525 Burmount Road, Drexel Hill, PA. On November 17, 2022 at 4:30 pm. Please instruct your cashier to greet ALL of your customers regardless of Nationality. Awesome store clean and very well maintained. Thank you for a clean store inside and out.
I live in Dinwiddie Virginia and I go to the Wawa in Petersburg for food and other things, my main thing is the milkshakes and that takes me about 10 minutes from where I live to the store so I went out the other morning around 2:00 a.m. craving a milkshake because there is nowhere else around here to get one. I pay for my stuff received my subs waited waited waited 15 minutes while two girls were behind the food counter too busy talking to one another to acknowledge that I’m standing there so me as the customer I say excuse me they look at me like what the hell am I doing there, this is now 20 to 25 minutes later they inform me that they don’t do milkshakes. Never heard this before. It was a poor experience, wont visit again.
This open letter of complaint is in regards to the Wawa Store located in Gambrills Maryland. While looking for a home, I’d utilize this Wawa quite frequently. I felt safe. There’s a bathroom and food of course. However, I also observed how disgusting gross and dirty this Wawa has been. Literally an absolute mess and the thing is, nothing is done about it. Oh sure, an employee takes garbage out each evening and every now and than, an employee picks up a few pieces of garbage. However, it changes nothing in terms of just how disgusting everything is. The parking lot is extremely greasy. There are gum stains and food stains every where. Garbage is every where. Including the grassy areas and most notably, the sewer drains. The doors are never ever cleaned. Hand and finger prints are on every glass door inside and outside. Even the trash cans are dirty and yes they smell awful. The bathrooms are extremely filthy. No human being should tolerate such filth, but apparently the manager and the staff are okay with the filth. Wawa has so much potential and it’s employees can certainly rise to the occasion and create a healthier safer cleaner environment.
Ive been drinking Wawa coffee ever since they have been giving out free coffee to healthcare workers as I am in the field, in fact they made me switch from Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. I really enjoy the variety and ease of the coffee bar. The only complaint I have is the coffee cup dome lids. They leak out the back so bad it’s to the point if I have a meeting in the morning or am wearing good clothes I don’t buy coffee from Wawa anymore because I know the lid is going to leak and I’m going to have big coffee spots on my shirt and pants…its bad and if I’m drinking it at home I have to wrap a paper towel around it to catch the drips. Wawa please contact your coffee cup lid supplier and have them remedy it.
I’m a regular customer in your Mullica Hill NJ store and don’t understand why anyone would work there. I have witnessed on several occasions the store management yelling at the younger associates in front of customers. The managers in the evening should be retrained on how to address customers and employees. There is a manager in the store some evenings named Missy who is over the top with the way she treats employees. Hopefully someone within the Wawa organization reads these comments and takes them seriously.
Hi folks – I’m a new user of Wawa having moved to Cherry Hill, NJ from Massachusetts in August 2021. I have had occasion to go to the Wawa store at 100 Springdale Ave, Voorhees a few times. Invariably the staff members at the store have been friendly, helpful and welcoming. They clearly are well trained and have a great feeling for customer Service.
I live up the street from the Wawa on 7900 Oxford Avenue, I go to that location everyday for coffee even though there’s a Dunkin Donuts up the street. For the last two months (at least), I’m lucky if the coffee is hot two days out of seven. Also for the past two weeks they’ve been completely out of light cream at the coffee bar. It’s not too much to ask for hot coffee, I shouldn’t have to take it home and microwave it before I’m able to drink it.
Long time Wawa fan in the metro Philly region. Traveling in Virginia, we were surprised and happy to find Wawa posted on highway signage. Went out of our way to the 11701 Jefferson Davis Road store over competitor Sheetz. it was this Sunday around 11:00 am. Purchased fuel and went into store to use restrooms, purchase drinks, bagel, Sizzli and a breakfast burrito.
Place was a wreck, bathrooms dirty, terrazzo floors by the sandwich counter stained with chewing gum in multiple places, doors without kickplates were boot scuffed, storage room left open and disorderly, secure Key-coded door propped open 2″, manager walking floor appeared to have battle fatigue.
I value Wawa for its designs, innovation, cleanliness and pricing. I travel a lot by road east of the Rockies. In middle and southern states – I often must look for and use a Sheetz or Buc-ees. Buc-ees is the premier on cleanliness, breadth of products and service (and jerky selection) Sadly – I felt it important to share with you that you are not near the competition in this Virginia market and should seriously consider whether you can maintain the Wawa culture and cleanliness as you increase store counts and extend distances from the corporate home.
Hope this helps in some small way.

Shout out for EXCELLENT service at Wawa on 7715 Frankfort Ave, Philadelphia.
I took my 90 year old friend to this Wawa for the first time. The young woman behind the sandwich counter helped us with ordering 2 meatball subs and some soup. She was patient and very kind. She even went out of her way to bring us the sandwiches while we stood in line to pay. The check out person was great also very kind.
My friend really felt taken care of and said the service was much better at this Wawa than the Wawa in her neighborhood.
Several customers also held the door for us.
Thank you, thank you.
I have sent three customer service complaints and received no responses.
How difficult is it to provide half gallons of diet half and half iced tea? Don’t tell me it’s not being manufactured. It’s available in the 16 oz size.
I’m switching to Royal Farms!
First off, your customer service on the phone is terrible. I’ve been on old 20 minutes and no body picked up yet.
My real complaint today is the corporate decision to turn off the WIFI at the Hockessin, , DE store.
I went in to buy lunch and the app would not open, wanted to check my balance on my card. Two employees told me the WiFi was turned off and the app won’t open in the store. They suggested I go outside and try getting a signal from the parking lot. I did go outside and left.
This store is an area with very poor cell service. And by turning off the WiFi in the store, that I, and my coworkers, use several times, Week,is just plan stupid.
As a loyal WAWA customer for many years, to do something that profits a. Customer from spending money is ridiculous and far from any part of a solid business plan.
I would like to know how to access the spreadsheet showing my WAWA gas savings. I have accessed it before and now I have forgotten the address.
