Villaggio Mall is a popular shopping destination in Doha, Qatar. It was established in the year 2006 and was developed by Gondolania Entertainment. Spread across 100,000 m2, the mall boasts of around 220 stores. A major fire broke out at the mall, leading to the closure of the place in 2012. Some 19 lives (mostly children) were lost in that fire. The mall is open from Sunday to Saturday, from 9am to 11pm.
At Villaggio Mall, you have an Ice Arena, Theme Park and Movie Theater. At the theme park, you have a wide variety of games, including go karting, bowling, carousel and ferris wheel. The IMAX theatre is for a true 3D cinema experience. For dining, you have a food hall and several restaurants and cafes. You can find KFC, Starbucks, Hollywood Stars, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Dunia, Shake Shack, Pizza Express and TGI Friday’s.
