Not even deserving one star grading. Extremely disappointed with their service at Edinburgh airport going back to our home country Malta via Ryanair. They fished myself out of the long queue stating my hand luggage was too big to fit. When I went to pay a very ridiculously priced (around £80) for the “large” hand luggage I asked to pay via mobile pay. That is, contactless. They did not have contactless payment (and we are living in 2023 post COVID)! What kind of customer service is this? Update your payment technology methods! And train your staff to be decent. Such an impolite way of handling such situations. It is a shame that you are awarded and given responsibility with the ground handling of the Edinburgh airport. Also, Swissport you are not legally obligated or have any empowerment or right whatsoever to ask for legal documentation such as passports as they did so, threatening that I will not travel if I did not hand them my passport. Please get your legal entitlements right.
Flew from Singapore to Brisbane on 29th December 2022, baggage still missing. Rang all over Swissport in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. No one seems to know where the baggage is. No customer care representative able to trace. Ringing at least 10 times a day for 21 days. No policy or protocols explained so far.
Check in from Glasgow to Rome via Amsterdam, on Monday morning 22/08/2022 was terrible, the young girl with dark hair, was extremely rude, told us our flight was overbooked and that we had to wait until the flight had boarded to see if we could get on. She had no apology, and was very argumentative. She could not understand why I was upset, and told me that I should have checked on line then.
