I recently bought an “Oh my Gloss” lip gloss. Trying to remove the security sticker was really painful and ended up cutting all my thumb and this totally unnecessary metal security tag thing. Is this really appropriate, Although I have have a large cut on my thumb I still haven’t managed to remove it. I understand you have to protect yourselves against thieves but what about us customers who actually buy Rimmel cosmetics but unable to use then. Same time I bought a Rimmel I also purchased a Maybelline lip gloss which also had a security tag but it was made of plastic and alot safer to remove.
Every single time I buy and use your eyebrow pencils, the lead runs out a little more than half way down….So frustrating and annoying! Why aren’t these filled all the way down?? I have at least 4-5 cms left but no product! Such a rip off and such a waste ? Please fix this issue!
I bought the new kind & free foundation & it is the best ever. I am 72 & have tried all the BB ones over the years but they all clog even with brushes & sponges. So I have never worn foundation. The mascara is also great & doesn’t clog. I also like the smaller foundation tube as it’s not bulky to carry.
Hi I’ve always used Rimmel foundation I’ve tried the new cruelty free foundation and it’s burnt my skin.
I have enjoyed Rimmel lipsticks for years but just decided to do the lead test using a gold ring. I was disappointed that they all turned black, indicating lead content. No amount of lead is safe; therefore I will not be purchasing.
I bought wonderful mascara and it certainly dose not live up to its name should have been called awful looks like I have no mascara on so disappointed always buy rimmel but this is a total waste of money I would like a refund but you can’t take it back not there problem
I Bought Rimmel London SuperStay foundation, have been buying it for atleast 3 years. When i get down to the end of it, i cut the plastic tube in half so i can get every last drop of foundation. Well today, i did that and inside, i found a little rubber/soft plastic fan. I was kinda shocked, but i understand it may have came off a mixer or something. Has this happened to anyone?

I am not one to complain as I am a huge makeup fan …. but oh my goodness the Rimmel Provocalips 16hr kiss proof lip colour is the worst thing I ever bought. As soon as you apply the 1st step colour to both lips and smudge lips together it’ starts sticking to the other lip and when you apply step 2, everything starts to make lumps and goes all crumbly … this is horrifying. I got it in red!
You can’t even wear it after to see how long it lasts because it doesn’t stay on you lips at all!
I bought 2 full colour lipliner’s last month. 101you’re all mine and 063 east end snob. When applying either of them they kept snapping !! Why can’t they also be bought in pencil form ? I have used Rommel product’s for year’s but these are a big let down. Also why can’t I get a lipstick to match 063 east end snob I love the colour but can’t find anything that come’s close
I bought Rimmel mascara Wonder’Luxe Volume Mascara today, l want Brown. Outside packaging stated Brown, front and back BUT when l opened it, mascara was Black Brown, also had a stick on product saying Black Brown. Not happy, false advertising. I want Brown please. A few weeks ago I bought a Scandaleyes Reloaded mascara. One of the worst I’ve ever had. It was so clumpy. I used as at the time as it was difficult to go out and get a another one. Looked dreadful. The brush seems ok but the actual mascara is awful. I usually use Rimmel mascara but have now bought another brand. Waste of money.
I bought a few of my usual make up. Rimmel Medium BB cream. I saw that the SPF had gone up from 15 to 25 and was pleased. It didn’t say brand new or anything so I assumed it would be the same. I was wrong! It is thick and dark and goes on like cheap facepaint. It’s unusable. I only wear BB cream and it took me ages to find the perfect one , that works so beautifully and it really was brilliant before. Now I am stuck in lock down with no make up and no way of testing new products and I have wasted money on useless stuff and time trying it out. I have even tried mixing it with moisturiser to make it go on like “CREAM” should but no such luck. I am a very unhappy customer. I never write complaints, so the fact that I have spent time finding the Web page and writing this novel speaks volumes to my disappointment in this product.
I’ve sent emails and they never Reply ..been a Loyal Customer with their Makeup Products for years and they change the products to an inferior substitute. I’ve had it with lip pencils, lipstick , eye pencil that doesn’t work and now Wake me up Foundation is another..I’ve struggled having used my last and I’m back to searching and experimenting..
Oh dear! Someone else complaining about your Less than useless eye brow pencil! How do you sharpen these items? I have literally sharpened away 2 pencils in an attempt to get some pencil.
The wood sharpens only on one side…I am using a branded pencil sharpener, so that’s not the problem!
Earlier, I scratched my eye, not realising one side was bare wood.

Please get back to me regarding your hazel eyebrow pencils. I’ve bought this product for years as it’s the only one that matches my hair etc, and because I have no eyebrows at all, I cannot go without this product, but quite frankly it’s not fit for purpose as every time I sharpen it the ‘lead’ is broken and I end up with no pencil left as I’ve had to sharpen it all away because it’s broke all the way down.
I’m having to buy a new one most days and no matter where I buy the from they’re the same.
I’ve been a loyal customer for over twenty years and would welcome a reply and some sort of reconciliation.

I notice that all the comments here are complaints. This is not a good look.
My own complaint is that my favourite product is not now made in the UK. If others are also now made elsewhere, perhaps this is why the quality is now bad enough to produce all these complaints.
I have bought Stay Matte powder for several years. I am now really disappointed with the product as it has gone hard. I bought two on a multi buy at Tesco. The first one went hard before it was finished so I opened the brand new one and that’s completely hard too, even though it hadn’t even been opened.
Hi there, recently I bought super gel nail polish in Carrefour Dubai as I live here. But since using once the super gel polish my nails are started cracking, I never had that experience in other nail polish products my nails are very strong grow nicely now it’s cracking and easily snap. My mother in law also had same problem as she’s the one introduced me your product. I actually bought 2 and I don’t want to use it again?
I have been using scandal eyes liner pencil for many years but lately every pencil I have purchased is impossible to sharpen when you get maybe half way use of pencil. I find this so annoying as these pencils cost £5.99 each time to buy yet you are only getting if your’e lucky use of half a pencil! I have noticed from previous comments that I am not the only one with this complaint so maybe it’s time for you to take a further look at this problem and sort this issue out. I look forward to your’e reply but won’t hold my breath on getting a reply.

Bought a lot of rimmel make up today from Superdrug. Spent a fortune spoiling myself. Really not happy with the way this was packed. Appreciate the plastic covering for hygiene protection….not very recycle friendly tho … once thru the plastic there is a huge white paper telling me it is hygiene protection. This appeared to be superglued to the product….this would not come off. This left a huge sticky residue on the products. I tried scraping with my nails, then a knife, then eventually had to use boiling hot soapy water and a scourer to scrub this off. 2 hours later my products are all sticky free and i am able to put them in my cosmetic purse. However, my lovely nails i had done yesterday are totally ruined and i have wasted 2 hours of my life i will not get back. I have used Rimmel for years…think i need a change…not a happy customer.

I bought an eyeliner (the same one which I have been using for a year and half) and it does not work. You can to press it hard before a little bit of colour is on the skin. How can I return it and get my money refunded.

I purchased two Rimmel Exaggerate waterproof eyeliners (261 Noir), because I had run out and always struggle to find replacements at my local shops. I am a huge fan of these, nothing else comes close, but I am hugely disappointed that this time the eyeliners do not work. I have to keep going over my eyes time and time again, it leaves a faint mark and then rubs it off! I have tried marking the top of my hand and I have to work really hard to make the eyeliner leave a mark. This is not normal in the many years of using this product.
I have bought two lipsticks recently, 900 pink blush, both go soft & snap off half way down, I know it’s been hot but I haven’t kept them in the sun, I love this shade & I have bought other lipstick brands & this hasn’t happened, the one I have now is very soft, even put it in fridge overnight, bit disappointed as I can’t afford to keep replacing them, thanks
Can someone please contact me… I purchased your 16 hr. lipstain in “I’ll Call You”. It is in a beautiful soft pink orange case for color sample. However, I took it out of the container at home only to find it a dark red in actuality. I rarely complain however I must throw this into the never wear lipstick. Bait and switch, mis-marketing, whatever… its wrong! Waste of money. Unfortunately, I was excited to purchase this as I am a repeat customer for the Rimmel “Kate” lipstick and was optimistic this long wear would be as promised. Disappointed I wasted my money out of the gate.
I’ve been a Rimmel customer since I was 16 I’m now 49. I’ve been buying your eyebrow pencils for 30 years and in the past 18 months I’ve had to throw doesns of them away. The pencil lasts about 2 weeks at the most. The end keeps breaking off and when you sharpen it, it just breaks again and leaves a really sharp piece of wood sticking up. I have about 20 pencils the size of toothpicks. They are a waste of money. I’m so fed up of it I’m now changing brand. I was hoping they were just a bad batch but clearly you are doing something different in the manufacturing process. Do you actually test them before selling as clearly you would see of a waste of money they are.
Your waterproof mascara leaves me with black smudges under my eyes every time I use it. I’ve l bought it before and forgot that’s why I stopped using it and now I’ve just bought another. Waste of money :(

I purchased Rommel Nail polish with Rita Ora on the bottle shade – Hot Metal love.
I have used this twice with base coat & top coat. The first time after a few hours it chipped as though not completely dry. A friend who admired the colour bought the same one & has had the same problem.
Today I have taken 4 hours after each of the two coats only to find little bubbles on the surface & when I changed clothes to go out it dented in several places & looked awful. What is wrong with this colour I have never had this problem before with Rommel Nail Polish ?
Hi. I use Rimmel Match as my foundation but it’s nigh on impossible to read the colour shade on the bottle. I took my foundation home and actually had to get a magnifying glass to read what the colour was and it was wrong. Can you look at it for me? Linda Hunt
This is the second time of writing. I am contacting you to ask if the ingredients have been changed for Rimmel nail polish as the latest polish only lasts for about 36 hours.
I recently purchased a bottle of Rimmel Super Gel nail polish in the shade I have used before, but it is not staying on as the previous Rimmel polishes have in the past. I would like to know if you are using a new method of blending, or if not then why isn’t the polish lasting?
I wrote a week ago but had no response.
I have used Rimmel nail products for many years, but think you have changed the format as it is now useless;
Please let me know why the polish doesn’t remain on my nails for more than a day.

I use many Rimmel products and am always very happy with the results, but I recently purchased another bottle of nail polish and am extremely disappointed with it. I always wear Rimmel polish and have many colours in my cosmetic drawer, but the latest – Super Gel 023 Grape Sorbet – is hopeless. Although I applied it the usual way, using an undercoat first, it doesn’t stay on. I always wear rubber gloves if doing wet work but the three times I have carefully applied the polish – always 2 coats, allowing time to dry between coats, in the evening, allowing all night to thoroughly dry – it has started peeling the very next day. By day two I have to remove it as so much has peeled off. I would be grateful for your thoughts on this matter as I am really disappointed with the product.
I’ve just your blusher Santa Rose for a number of years and it is perfect for me. Imagine my disappointment when I went to buy a replacement this morning and found the range had changed! I am having problems finding the nearest match to this in your new range. Can you please advise?

Hello, I purchased some Rimmel eyeliner online because I could not find the colors I want in the store. However, each time it came unwrapped, so I am afraid to use them for sanitary reasons due to potential germs. Both merchant listings state they are returnable, so I assume the companies may resell products that may have been used or at least tried. Is it customary for Rimmel not to shrink-wrap or somehow otherwise package your products? Or could I have potentially received cosmetics that may have been used and potentially contaminated? I returned the first eyeliner and the second eyeliner also came unwrapped, so I am wondering whether I should return the second one, as well, and just give up on purchasing Rimmel and the color I need online.
Hello!! My name is Paula A. Bartz. I LOVE your products!! I use them all!! However, yesterday, I purchased 2 Sparkling Black Scandal Eyes Creamy Eye Pencils. I went to use one, brand new, and the tip fell off. No big deal, I’ll sharpen it!! I sharpened. Went to use, and scratched eyelid, for it wasn’t sharpened enough. Ok, I’ll sharpen again. Sharpen, sharpen, sharpen. IT WONT SHARPEN!! Ok – I have another one. Same thing – won’t sharpen!!! Like I said earlier, I love your products, but I’m not liking this one. Went through 2 brand new liners, in an attempt of one use,and couldn’t use either!! Granted they were only $3.97 each, I now have to go purchase more eyeliner tonight!! I don’t think I will buy that same product. I, more likely, will go back to the L’Oreal eye liner that I used to use. I’m sorry for this, for I truly do love your products, but I feel they should be worth the money. I work very hard – I have 2 full-time jobs ( I’m a single parent of 2 ), andv expect more from a product, especially being brand-new!!! Thank you!!
