I want to complain about the lack of stock on the shelves at Cranbrook Superstore. No matter what day I shop or what time from first thing in the morning to late afternoon, somethings on my list does not get in my cart because it is not on the shelves. One day it is cereal, today it was Presidents choice (blue label) Butter chicken sauce. There was no yogurt of the Brand I like the, one day they had no milk in the 4 litre size. No eggs in the XL. I have it on good authority that the manager has told his staff not to over stock shelves but this is ridiculous.
They sell salads that have turned brown, potatoes that smell rotten. I have shopped at Superstore down on the coast and in Vernon and have never seen a problem like this and you don’t see a checkout person asking you if you have found everything you need because they know what is going on and don’t want to have to HANDLE the flak.
I’ve been to all the superstore locations in my vicinity. I have found, SADLY, that most if not all refrigerated products are always coming from frozen. Including your meats. Do u know how bad that is for a customer who isn’t aware.
I am not a fan of your now almost exclusive self check stores. I have a full time job and when I go shopping I do not need to be working for free scanning and bagging my own purchased products I feel you should be giving customers a discount or more cashiers to be able to do the job. You certainly reap from the savings of paying staff but I get no savings what so ever I get to work for your store for free which I do not appreciate. If I wanted a second job I would get one and it certainly would not be working for free for your greedy corporate people. Yes it is convenient for some but not for me I feel you owe me a half hour wage for the work I am doing for you. Then to top it off you have a staff member wanting to check my receipt if you do not trust me to do your staff’s job without training or a wage then you can kiss my butt about making sure I did it right. I will no longer be shopping at big corporation stores I will now go to small businesses where I can get customer service without working for free.
