I purchased the dining table along with 4 chairs in Oct 2021. After using the dining table for three months i noticed that there is a bubble on the surface of the dining table. Raymour Flanigan did an exchange in the month of January 2022 stating that it is a manufacturing defect.
In the month of July 2022, i again noticed the bubble on the surface of my Dining table and reported the same to Raymour Flanigan customer care. The service representative was at the place and confirmed to me that it is a manufacturing defect and did an exchange again. The dining table was exchanged again.
In the month of October 2022, the Bubble on the surface is evident again and this is the third time in the span of one year i am facing this problem with the dining table. I called raymour Flanigan again and spoke to a representative regarding this issue. They transferred the call to the service department. The service department representative told me that it cannot be exchanged anymore as it is a Customer issue. Moisture was on the Dining table surface and it caused the bubble.
It is a brand new dining table and within two months of every exchange, the table is bubbled up. The dining table is for having food and moisture on the surface is quite common. The answer given by the Service representative is not acceptable.
I purchased an AVERSA bedframe for our son on 8/27/20. The salesperson, Anthony indicated that he could order it in OAK which I wanted as our son’s other bedroom furniture is OAK. I had a terrible time paying for the purchase online & also attempting to reach the store via telephone, to determine payment & delivery date. It took me a half a day to complete the order! Following the payment, I called the store, to find that the delivery date would not be until November. It was delivered December 1, 2020, over 3 months from purchase date. Although the bed is nice, it is MUCH darker than was expected, so I think your Salesperson needs some lessons in product information. In fact, he kept leaving me while in the store & I had to page him twice to come back & assist me. He simply put me on the computer at the store & told me there were over 400 beds to review??? I’ve spent thousands of dollars at your store in the past on furniture for our home. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I realize that there are ongoing problems due to COVID, but expected much better service.
We purchased a leather reclining loveseat 206330754 in 2013. We also purchased the platinum protection plan. The service came to the house three times to spray the couch in spots where the leather discolored. The couch has discolored so badly at this point that we want to get rid of it. We realize leather wears naturally over time. However, this discoloration is not normal. Shouldn’t a couch last longer than 5 years?? Only two people use this couch and we have not abused it. Also it is not used daily. When I called to complain I was informed that leather wears. I am willing to send photos to show how terrible the couch looks. We are so dissatisfied with this couch we are inclined to never purchase from Raymour and Flanigan again and will never recommend their merchandise. Is there any assistance you can offer?
We had a delivery scheduled for 1/17/18 which happened to be a snow day. The truck came to deliver and since the furniture is going in a room with light grey carpet we asked the crew to take off their shoes or place booties over the shoes. They claimed safety concerns even thought they are not wearing safety shoes so not sure what safety… We then laid blankets on the carpet and the guy watched as we did it only to say oh no we can’t build with blankets on the floor. So R&F doesn’t give a shit about people’s flooring or messing up people’s houses and makes zero accommodation to consider that. For God’s sake, the utility company crew which we all need put on booties over their socks out of concern for people and R&F crew and all managers we spoke with can’t tell them to walk on blankets laid over carpet. And no they are concerned about safety because if anything falls on their sneakers they will feel every bit of it. There’s something called safety shoes that unfortunately they need to invest in if they really care about safety. What a shame. We had to reschedule to hopefully a clear day so they can only bring dirt to our carpet as opposed to slush….
