Qatar Post began in the year 1950 when the first post office was opened in Doha. Since 2013, the national postal company in Qatar is operated by the Ministry of Transport and Communication. Formerly called Q-Post, the company offers mail delivery, parcel delivery, postal box and money transfer services.
