About Progressive Field
The popular ground for baseball games in Cleveland, Ohio, is none other than Progressive Field. When it opened in 1994, it was originally called Jacobs Field. It got its new name after the naming rights was sold to Progressive Insurance in 2008. Owned by the Cuyahoga County, the baseball field is spread across 105,000 sq ft and has a seating capacity of 35,000. Also referred as ‘The Jake’, the stadium is home to MLB’s Cleveland Guardians. Besides baseball, the stadium also hosts ice hockey, concerts and special events.

Fans can track the games or events on the website. The gates open 1 hour prior to game time Sunday to Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the gates open 1.5 hours prior to game time.
