About Prague Metro
prague metroEstablished in the year 1974, Prague Metro (Prazske metro) is the rapid transit system in Prague, Czech Republic. It operates 3 lines (A, B and C) connecting to some 61 stations. The metro begins at 5am and closes at 12 midnight. Line A (Green) connects Nemocnice Motol to Depo Hostiva, Line B (Yellow) connects Zlin to Cerny and Line C (Red) connects Letnany to Haje. Tickets for Prague Metro can be purchased at retail outlets, manned stations and through vending machines. You can also check schedule, view fares and purchase tickets through the Sejf smartphone app. Tickets can be purchased using credit/debit cards and Net Banking. As for fares, you have Single tickets, All-Day Tickets, Weekly and Monthly tickets. You also have pre-paid annual tickets. The tickets can be used for trams, buses and ferries as well.
