My wife and I purchased four items on May 04, 2019 (Reference #091248492132). Two items were furnished that day and the other two items were to be shipped. We paid in full at the location and were informed that the remaining items estimated deliveries were June 7th and May 28th of 2019. One item (May 28th) was received in August. On June 14th, July 19th, August 2nd, and August 17th we were informed by email “We’re sorry to report that there has been a delay in the shipment of your item”. On September 3rd we received an email stating “we have encountered an issue with your payment method”. We called Pottery Barn Customer Department and were informed that they “would fix it” and never mentioned a problem. On September 7th another email states “This is a final reminder to call the Customer Care Center immediately to update your payment method”. We called on September 8th and were informed that we must pay by a new method even though it was purchased onsite in full May 4th (four months earlier). We were also informed they would have a representative call us and told us not to cancel the order. We received a call on September 13th and informed “We should have known better and thats how commerce works”.
In one last attempt I reached out to there Customer Care Department September 27th at 4:18 pm Central. I had a conversation with Crystal who informed me they have no direct line for a regional director and should submit concerns on there website. Or she could have a “leadership team member” (kind of ironic) contact me in the next 24-48 hours because she was not allowed to have a customer on hold for more than 5 minuets (time was 4:49 at this juncture/with the majority of time on hold).
We placed the order and paid for it in good faith on May 4th (in full). The latest contact info states “Our item will be sold to someone else without payment”. At this juncture we are out $200.00 plus without an alternative option. I guess “Thats how commerce works” is Pottery Barns new practice method.

I bought an outdoor table and chairs last March. The finish has come off even though it’s been covered during rain and under an umbrella in the sun. I have spent at least 3 hours total on hold to try and get this resolved. A new table was delivered with a large crack and returned. I heard nothing more from Pottery Barn. After 40 minutes on hold with various departments, I was connected to a number no longer in service.
Today, 6 chairs were delivered with no prior notification and were just left in the driveway. It’s supposed to rain tonight. This has been a nightmare and I think your customer service is abominable! The people I have dealt with have tried, but someone needs to make this department run a lot smoother. I expect an answer. I guess this message is as close as I can get to talk to someone.
I would like to make an online purchase and does pottery barn ship online orders to kuala lumpur, malaysia?
