Pakistan Post is the official postal service in Pakistan, founded in 1946. Headquartered at Islamabad, the postal service employs more than 44,000 across the country. It serves more than 50 million people, with a network of 13,000+ post offices spread across cities and rural areas. As part of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), Pakistan Post also offers priority express service by taking advantage of the Express Mail Service (EMS) network around the world. The mail services offered include letter mail service, post cards, inland printed papers, domestic parcels (personal & commercial), post boxes, stamps, international courier, to name a few. Under express post services you have Urgent Mail Service (UMS) that is best used for overnight or next day delivery of documents and parcels. Additionally, you can make use of the Urgent Money Order Service (UMO) for remittance of money. There is also Electronic Money Order Service (EMO) for swift transfer of money from one post office to another. Rates for same are available on the website.
