When there is no way to contact a company via email you get a sense customer service is not a real priority. My feedback which I think would be of genuine benefit to consumers would be to produce a comparison list of printer cost per sheet for ink or even better, inclusive of the purchase price. Everyone you ask about choice of printer declares “look at the cost of the ink” yet there is no way to compare unless you want to dedicate hours and hours writing them down to then see if the compatible printer does what you need and is also cost effective.
A comparison would save consumers hours and be very transparant – something I’m not sure the manufacturers and retailers are really that interested in sadly.
I recently visited your mentone store in Melbourne (my regular store) to print off photos from my phone. I tried six computers before I could get one to work.
First problem: didn’t print out receipt, so I needed to go to service desk to get one before being able to use self service photo service. The computer desks were so dirty and dusty. I’m not sure who does the cleaning (if anyone) but they are disgusting. With Covid-19 not far from our thoughts I would’ve thought that cleaning would be of importance still? This was a Sunday, though I have been there on z weekday and still dirty/dusty.
I purchased a computer from you and paid for it in two installments. The remittance advices were sent to you last Wednesday, but I still have no computer. Your help centre says your finance centre will contact me and soon as they have reconciled my payment. I does not take a week for this to be done; your bank account info is virtually live and could have been reconciled the same day; a week in unforgivable. Your customer service and care would have to be the worst I have experienced, and that’s saying something.
I am still waiting on someone to respond to my query regarding part of my order not being delivered. It is disgraceful that emails and online forms that I have submitted have not been answered. My order 1000309657 was for packing materials and obviously there is a limited time frame. When I placed the order there was no indication that some of the order could not be delivered. Indeed the local Officeworks shows that there is “limited stock”. That means there is at least enough to fill my order. I have been waiting since the 8th November. Like so many others, I will not use Officeworks Online again.
I’m staggered by the total lack of customer care I have experienced with Office Works. An order I placed has been blundered by your warehouse team causing me to lose potential work, as a result of not having the equipment I ordered. No one has taken responsibility or even cares that I have lost income as a result, leaving me trying to find someone who will cancel my order. I will never be shopping with Office Works again.
I had to attend Officeworks at Newcastle West NSW on two separate occasions, unfortunately I did not get the names of the two gentleman that served me but they were absolutely fabulous. So friendly and helpful and full of knowledge on the products I was after.
