About Nok Air
Nok Air is a Thai budget airline that began operations in 2004. Thai Airways is a major shareholder in the airline which has its main hub at Don Mueang International Airport. Headquartered at Bangkok, the low cost airline allows booking of airline on the web and smartphone app. To search and book a flight, you can input the origin, destination, date and proceed to choose the best schedule. Payment for flights can be made using credit/debit card or cash at airport or nearest office.     My name is Yevheniia one week ago I was traveling to Thailand(Phuket) from Tokyo.
    On my way back I missed my flight from Phuket to Bangkok due to non-professionalism of airline personnel. I got to the airport 2h befor my flight. I was standing and waiting a big line for check in. My flight number was written correctly on the screen, so I knew that I was waiting in the right place. When it was my turn to show documents, the girl behind the counter started panicing and said that I was waiting in the wrong line and sent me to another floor for checking in. Holding my 2 big suitcases I run to another corner and THE GIRL ACTUALLY CHECKED ME IN, but then she said that I have no time and I need to run to that corner where I stood before and give away my suitcase. I run to the corner again and they took away my suitcase, took a pic of me so the personal knew that I have checked in already and plane is waiting only for me. I ran to the passport control and there obviously was a huge line but I still had some time. At the moment when it was about 2 people before me to pass by passport control my name was announced few times!!! I was telling personal that its my name, that they are calling me right now. But they just said mem, please calm down. The plane flew away without waiting for me despite the fact that I had already passed the check in! Personal made me buy new ticket another airlines to be able to make my flight to the Tokyo from Bangkok. They said plane will wait for me because another flight timing was pretty tight. I bought new ticket, got to the Bangkok and there were no personal on the nok air corner at night near baggage claim. In Phuket when they took my suitcase they didn’t give me luggage tag! I couldn’t find my suitcase. I couldn’t find anyone. No one was on the information corner as well. When I finally found another Nok Air corner I was talking to the girls and asking for help but the problem was that they spoke English very poorly and it was difficult for them to understand what I was trying to say. Conclusion – I missed my second flight to Tokyo and had to buy a new ticket(there was no direct flight. I had to buy 2 tickets, one to Hong Kong and another one to Tokyo). I had to stay in Bangkok one more day and pay for the hotel. They had no right to send the plane without waiting for me if I had already checked in!!! I had to use an extra $ 700(tickets and hotel, transportation) on my trip. I want to consult with someone about it! I want to discuss this case with customer support. This situation is absolutely not fair! I lost a lot of money and nerves!

  3. You spelt my name wrong on my ticket, we hafd just had suffered a robbery at a thai hospital..and you refused to let me on plane with my wife so i had to pay 750baht extra.
    Ill be making a complaint.
    Disgusting service.

    had to travel with your company on Tuesday, January 8th between Bangkok and Buriram flight(theft) DD9606

    Booking Number 49740236

    I received a message on Tuesdays evenings indicating me that this flight was postponed in the following schedule that is 5:25 pm!!

    I contacted the customer service, the operator aspired at first that there was a problem of maintenance (sent I the report of intervention!!) I he is said that she lied, the flightwas moved because there were enough passengers, she agreed!!
    Moreover the flight(theft) of 5:25 pm was not full!

    Then I received another message indicating me that 2 flights were deleted!!
    I called up more of 10 times this number: 6620888955 by press on the sideline 9 to fall over in English, it is false, the message stays in Thai, problem noticed by one of your employees in the check-in desks which then to missing person!!!

    I finally arrived with almost 3 hours of delay!

    I am exceeded by this behavior of swindler and especially the way you despise your customers!!

    As a consequence I ask you in compensation for a free ticket between Buriram and Bangkok to use in 3 months.

    Should the opposite occur I am going to publish in the groups Facebook of European expatriates (several thousand subscribers) of which I am a member ( Retraites francais en Thailande,; Thailande Découverte; Deals expats Thailand; Francais en Thailand, Thai Visa, …) to tell this story and tell them the contempt which you have for your customers
    Idem on Tripadvisor!!
