I was sent back from the airport because of the misspelled name of my kid. I tried to contact them , my emails where not responded till now from January my money was gone just like that.
This is the worse company ever. The customer services department seems like having a script and they repeat the same. I have been trying to re-book my parents ticket since the 9th sept and still have not been able to do so as of today’s date. All i get is we are referring it to technical support by email, and nothing happens. You cannot speak to the supervisor, no one wants to take responsibility for the call.
The customer service is incompetent. For the last 3 days they have been saying that they will re-issue the ticket. But nothing happens. Our flight is 12 hours from now and they say it will take 24 hours to do this. All of today they said they will re-issue in 4 hours, well those 4 hours never came. Please inform your friends and contacts to be aware of this company.
Absolutely the worst treatment, cancelled flights to New York then refused to refund us kept passing us from one to other and on hold for 3 hours. Still not received a refund!
It’s disgusting. I just booked a ticket from jkt to istanbul, and didn’t get ticket at all. I have complained via email and just got a robotic answer.
I bought a flight ticket from Hong Kong to Bangkok then transfer to Phuket by “Mytrip”, but after arriving in Bangkok, the flight ticket cannot be used for transfer and must leave the country. I have no choice must to stay in Bangkok without preparation, which makes my subsequent itinerary and booking completely changed, I contact Mytrip agent to understand and claim compensation from the airline, but the reply is I should contact to the airline by myself,Ican’t get any help!

The flight was canceled and I didn’t have the minimum support expected. The attendants look like robots and say it’s the airline’s responsibility. I also sent an email and got no response. This is disrespectful and a company like this could not be in operation. It was a huge loss and disappointment. I really don’t recommend it.
Disgusting support. I booked a ticket and the flight was canceled by the airline. My Trip executives are saying they can not refund because their system shows that I used the flight. How can I use the flight that was canceled entirely by the airline? They are not refunding my money, their customer care executive seems to have no knowledge, they are being complete jerks and just hang up the phone on me every time I call them. No response to the emails. Pathetic services.
I was travelling from London to Vienna on 04/03/22. I booked my tickets via MyTrip and submitted a minimum of 3 complaints and called them twice for one hour on hold but I am receiving no response.
I received a notification during morning on 04/03/22 at 8:10am that I was checked in.
Later on the same day at 10:10am on 04/03/22 I received an email that I need to check in at the airport.
When I arrived to the Wizzair check in desk I was charged £70 for a late check-in!!!
This is absolutely unacceptable that MyTrip let me know that I have to check in at the airport and then I get charged £70 at the airport.
Do not book with MyTrip!!!!!!
Disgusting – tried to get back my £760 paid for 2 for return trip to Paris in December 21. It is now end Feb 22 and nothing, no response, no update, no return of monies. They cancelled flight and I paid for cancellation cover.
Firstly, it takes forever to even contact them over phone. I tried calling the Singapore number and literally only got through after 6 hours… I wanted to cancel my flight within 24 hour booking but was told that Turkish Airlines is non-refundable and that for Emirates I could get a refund, but wouldn’t know how much I am getting a refund for until I get the money..what!?
What a headache. From now on, I’ll be sticking to booking directly via the airlines or Expedia/Kayak.
I booked a ticket through them. I got a confirmation notice, they cash in and then few hours later they send me a cowardly email staring they cannot honor their offer because of a “technical issue”…and yet they are keeping my money for up to 5 days. If they made a mistake why are they not reversing the transaction immediately?
Very poor and disappointing service, have been trying to contact them since I booked my ticket a month ago in order to change my flight ticket but all I receive is an autoreply which leads to nowhere – Turkish airline has agreed to change my flight dates but they want this request to be received from mytrip but mytrip is not answering my phone calls, no proper response on my emails either. seems like I have lost my 650 euros – I wish I can find a platform where I can launch a legal complaint.
I booked a flight with them – it was cancelled by the airline so I booked another flight. The airlines have refunded both flights to mytrip in full but Mytrip won’t pass the money on to me. Latest con is an ‘Assistance fee’ which they want to claim from the airline the money they already have! Next stop is legal action – it’s not much money but there is a principle involved!
I cancelled my booking directly with airline and they confirmed that refund has been issued but it been long and didn’t get receive refund. So i called again and asked Airline and they confirmed that refund is issued to My trip. Since then i am trying to call them but no response. I sent online form too but still no response. I wish I would have read above comments before booking though this website.
Hi, I have exactly the same issue. But unfortunately, I have booked not only 1 but 3 flights in a row and I am so worried that they wouldn’t return my money back even when the Airline company confirmed that the refund was issued to Mytrip. If it’s the case, it’s not the system issue anymore but we can consider that it’s a scam.

I made a booking and payment with Mytrip on a flight from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Johannesburg on Ethiopian Airlines. Confirmation code: GZUWIH. Booking number 19351224. After two days I haven’t received a ticket or a booking code. I canceled the booking because I have never waited this long for a ticket to be issued.
It’s a horrible company… this is the first time I used it and never going to use it in future…. They never solve any problem but take assistance money readily and always put your call in queues or keep on transferring between “various so called departments “ which I don’t think actually exists…. I wanted to reschedule my return ticket due to change in covid isolation rule in India but even after taking money from me and sending a mail that it has been done I haven’t received any ticket yet and their site still show my old ticket!!!
Flights booked from Tbilisi to Edinburgh (via Istanbul) for the 21st May 2021. Turkish Airlines contacted us on the 11th March 2021 to advise the flights were canceled (luckily the airline advised us as MyTrip never communicated this to us).
I have emailed MyTrip upwards of 20 times requesting our refund and they keep replying with a autoreply stating that they are awaiting a refund from the airlines. Please note: We have a friend who was smart enough to book directly with the airlines and who received their refund back in May 2021. We have also contacted Turkish Airlines who have confirmed that a refund has already been provided to MyTrip.
After reading all the other appalling reviews it is very apparent that this is all part of a big problem. I don’t understand why Skyscanner or any other business would want to associate themselves with such a company.
On March 8th, 2020 I booked a flight to Norway via MyTrip (L3N637) and paid with my credit card. The flight was canceled on 07/27/2020 due to the pandemic by MyTrip. In the beginning I received regular “status reports” by email about the progress of the reimbursement – until March 2021. According to MyTrip, the money had already arrived from the airline – I was then repeatedly asked for patiency because of the “current situation”. After multiple inquiries in summer 2021 I received on August 12th, 2021 that “no reimbursement is possible” – afterwards, after a corresponding answer from my side, I received several messages that the process was being processed with “high pressure” and that it was already in the finance department, etc.
In the meantime is September and the simple reverse booking of almost € 370 to my card account is still pending. Objectively, there is no real intention on the company´s side to reimburse (something like this works within a few weeks with reputable companies) – rather, in my opinion, they simply rely on the fact that as many costumers as possible simply give up sooner or later – something like this probably pays off, especially when it is difficult to grasp this company under civil law.
From my point of view, the offense of embezzlement has been fulfilled here – I will now have an examination of what a criminal prosecution against the company should look like. As a personal future experience (and for others as a recommendation), I advise you to do a little research on the internet first before booking – it would have saved me time and money, as I was obviously not the first to spot this company fell into the trap.
I am in similar situation like you and bought a family ticket worth 2800 GBP Feb 2020. We are trying to rebook or refund and they have not been able to help us with either. I truly believe what you said about they are just playing with patience hoping we will eventually give up. For my family this is a huge amount and cause of such a emotional distress because it is huge financial pressure to buy a new set of ticket so close to our anticipated travel date in Dec. We have not seen our old parents in three years, because we were planning to visit them in July 2020 and, finally ban lifted from my country in September 2021.
My story is similar to everyone’s here. I have been waiting for a refund for 18 months. How can they be allowed to continue operate in this manner? Is there anything to be done about this company?
