I have just tried to return a dress to Marks & Spencer, Cardinal Place, London SW1 bought on 11/9/22, only to be told that it should have been brought back by 16/10/22 and thus it was now too late for a refund. I can now see this on the receipt, which of course I had not looked at as I had always thought that Marks & Spencer refunded at any time, and certainly within a few months. I am cross because this was never pointed out at the point of purchase, nor are there any warning signs by the tills. I bought some more items this evening and indeed the (very helpful) server certainly did not point anything out this time either.

  2. Having been a customer in the cafe in the Anlaby M&S store for over a year, the service is becoming very slow. Dirty tables and unclean cups, tea pots and cutlery. Could you inform the manager of this site, as it requires an overhaul.

    I had reason to talk to customer service furniture dept yesterday. PAULINE was the rep who dealt with my query and she was superb. It wasn’t a quick fix, but she was resolute and determined to help. It took some forty minutes and she was as cheerful and professional to the end.

We bought what she recommended because having spent ages with us, she recommended exactly what we were looking for! Thank you Mandie you are a star!!!

  6. I would like to say a big ‘Thank you’ to Amanda, the Store Manager at your Leeds White Rose store. ( She was working Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th Dec 2021). I bought 3 for 2 items in your Baby wear department. These were for my grandson in New Zealand. The family are now in England and I totally misjudged his size! I had a change of mind on a jumper and had to exchange 2 other items out of this range.
    I thought all was well until we found the joggers were too small. It turned out to be a very complicated returns process! Amanda was brilliant. After a sleepless night, I returned to the White Rose store and Amanda did her very best to help me. I came away very relieved and very happy. Throughout this complicated return process she was calm and professional and very pleasant, finishing with a big smile!
