I ate in IHOP in Marion, IN recently. I donโt know who owns it, but it is ran very poorly! The manager was in maybe 20s – very rude to employee. She was very loud being confrontational in front of patrons. I felt so sorry for employee. She maybe needs better training in communicating with employees. The server we had smelled of liquor. We will never eat there again.
There was a time, in America, a person or family had more options to have a family style meal. I am happy that IHOP still provides that option at a reasonable price. But, I am more happy about the dietary options that a diet restricted person has to choose. I just ate at the IHOP at 12251Tech Rd in Silver Spring, MD, and the Non-meat Protein is an option. This option is awesome for diabetics at a great price. I don’t miss all the different choices of restaurants in America when the one is considerate of its patrons’ needs. Thank you IHOP!
We arrived at I hop, here in Hobbs New Mexico @ 10:30 am, it took about 40 minutes to be seated, and it took about 30::00 minutes to get a server, to make the story short we didnโt get out of there until 100:pm, we had to eat in a hurry because there is no AC working , so everyone is sweeting, no manager on site , it is a turbo way of running a business, we are not going back, 08/07/22.
The IHOP in Grand Ledge, MI is awesome! It is in a FLYING J truck stop and I am a truck driver. I have been stuck at this truck stop for 30 hours because of Winter Storm Landon. The manager, who has only been in this restaurant for 6 weeks is the most friendly and generous manager I have ever seen. She told her evening staff not to come in, because some lived far away and stayed her self with 1 other wait staff and cook. The service was unbelievable. This woman is a treasure. This store is a treasure especially for a lonely truck driver who is only 1 hour away from her family and canโt make it home because of the weather. Thank you Ladies! I felt like I was amongst friends and family !
I placed an order at the 7130 Sawmill Rd, Columbus, OH 43235 location. Order # 6741290317021186. My order was completely wrong, I don’t know whose order they gave me but it had my name on it.
I picked up the order from curbside pickup and didn’t check the items until I arrived home. When I called the location to speak to a manager, Todd, was exceptionally rude. First he hung up on me when I started explaining the issue. When I called back he demonstrated absolutely no desire to rectify the issue. He bragged about how long he has been a manager instead of resolving my issue – I had a hard time getting any words out to even try and frame up the issue.
Todd is obviously incompetent since he saw the name on my order and started speaking to me in a condescending, disrespectful, manner. I am extremely frustrated by the treatment I received as a customer at this location.
It appears to me that your company should choose to do dine in or carry out because in Hampton Virginia.They canโt do both .You are going to lose your customers .With such bad service and wait times.Its impossible to stop in for lunch during work no body gets two hours to eat .
The question is after all the negative reviews and complaints about ihop, does the company do anything about it. Bad services, cold food, and overpriced menus items, do the company do anything about it. There’s a after restaurant survey but none of the problems are actually fixed. What should one do, seriously.
We stopped to eat at IHOP in Bartlesville on 4-18-2021. We arrived and were seated at 935pm, did not took drink order till 950pm, did not get order taken till 955pm, there were 4 waitresses and not many people in restaurant and manager took our drink order, then a waitress took our order at 10.00pm. We received food at 1045 pm. My eggs were cold which wasn”t good. Needless to say this is not the first time this has happened at our visits to this IHOP and other locations. Probably won’t be back,
Visited Millington, TN IHOP 3/13/21 at approximately 11 am. We stood at entrance for almost 10 minutes before employee came to ask if we were waiting to be seated. When we asked about wait time because there were several customers waiting for seats and take out we were told that they were not seating anyone “for awhile” because they were too backed up. There were numerous tables not bussed. Upon leaving we drove around back to get to street to see 5 of your employees out back smoking, standing around a mountain of full garbage bags. You may have a serious issue at this location.
