I am pissed off with the service at Honda Polokwane. I bought my vehicle on Saturday and got a call that my car will be ready at 11h30. Since I was attending a meeting, I requested them that I will come to fetch it on Monday morning. I cane here at 07h30 and was told that the car will be ready in 5min. It is now 09h20 and they are still busy with the car. Just to put in brakes. These people do not respect customers. I am not working at Honda Polokwane. For me to come and watch them while they are busy with my car is utter nonsense. My programme for the day has been disrupted. Customer service is poor.
I bought my Honda and received it on 18 October 2019. When exactly are my service due dates each year? Problem – Middelburg branch that says I must have my car serviced before 28 September or I’ll lose a service period. Does not make sense to me. There are still 3 services due.
My Honda is a Jazz 1.5l Elegance – yet local Honda documentation reflects it as a Jazz 1.2 Trend?? This has previously been pointed out but to date has not be amended on the system.
A problem I find serious is that there is no Honda trained technician at Middelburg. The service department of Eastvaal Ford indicated that he would monitor the work of the nominate technician (Wiseman). This rings alarm bells. What is happening at Honda Middelburg that there have now been 3 technicians – Phillip, Victor and Wiseman. I chose to buy a Honda because the Ford I’d previously bought was recalled 4 times in the first year. Honda has a very good reputation but I’m afraid with the type of information/service I’m expected to be satisfied with does not make me feel comfortable.
I have very low mileage (just 10,000), look after my cars, regularly service them and very pedantic that everything is done to a high standard. Thought this is what I was to get when I bought a Honda.
Please respond regarding the correct scheduled service periods.
