Very frustrating and horrible experience. While the people I spoke with were professional, the amount of waiting and bureaucratic nonsense I have been dealing with to book a flight is ridiculous. I had to reschedule my flight due to a personal emergency, and I was only given travel credit because I didn’t purchase the once again, corporate bureaucratic scam of “extended cancellation fee” and when I tried to use my credit I was given constant excuses of flight declining due to “travel credit issues” and that my reservations weren’t priority, and even the one’s that were available were still giving me grief. I’ve attempted to get a flight for days now and it still hasn’t successfully booked. I will never use flight hub again to book flights, and travel credit is absolute rip off and nonsense.
First time I’ve ever wrote a review for anything, but I would NOT ever recommend booking with Flighthub. Stick with buying direct from the airline.
Very disappointed with the service provided. If you need to cancel your flight you will only receive a credit for that traveller to go to the original destination and back.
So now that I have zero need to ever go to Boston(work conference cancelled) I can only ever use that credit in the next year to fly to Boston. If you think you can use your credit for a different destination in the future think again.
Also never buy the cancellation insurance it’s only valid until 11:59pm the day you purchase the ticket. So if you need to cancel your flight the next day you will not only be out the cost of the ticket but you STILL have to pay the $125.00 cancellation fee.

I was taken up by the price they offered.After booking they changed my complete itinerary.When I called flight hub they said it was the airlines and that they cannot do anything.They pushed me to take the offered schedule.When I asked about refund they kept talking about the policy and procedure.I lost quite alot. My name is Mai and I would like to tell you about my experience with FlightHub. I am not a keyboard hero, I don’t do this to make the company looks bad. I rarely post anything online but for this time only, I would like to voice my experience.
I booked my flight ticket with FlightHub in September 2017. I was set to travel in December. However, when I arrived at the airport, the flight attendant did not let me board my flight because I did not have a transit visa in my next connection, which is Canada. My ticket was then canceled and I have received travel credits for it.
On my part, I acknowledge the fact that it was a lack of preparation on my side that I did not have a transit visa at that time. However, I would like to talk about the customer service experience I had on that day with FlightHub.
I arrived at the airport at 8 AM and I was shocked to find out that I would not be able to book my flight without a transit visa. I immediately contacted Customer Support to speak of the issue. From 8 AM to 12 PM, I made more than 10 phone calls due to the following reasons:
– My calls kept getting transferred from one authority to another. I understand that each department specialized in a different area. However, my frustration was: the agents did not have any knowledge at all on my question at that time. I asked of them if I would be able to board my flight without a transit visa (because my friend used to able to at least get on the flight, then pay for a visa at the Canada airport as I recalled), or could they possibly reroute me to a different transit location since it was what the AirCanada flight attendant at front desk suggested me to do. Instead of answering my questions, the agents kept transferring my calls and despite the fact that I was patiently waiting on the line, it was more than 5 times I did not hear anything back from the customer service. My call was thus disconnected due to long waiting time. They did not tell me if I could re-route my trip or not for at least 2 hours. But it was not all of it.
– Customer clients were rude. I tried to explain to the agents the reason why I wouldn’t be able to transit or apply for a visa in Canada. My break was very short, only two weeks. I had not seen my family for more than a year and I was more than eager to finally go back. The process of applying and waiting for a visa to be issued would take more 3 weeks, which basically meant I forfeited my option of going home which defeats the entire purpose.
One of the clients asked me, full of doubt, if I was an illegal immigrant that I could not apply for a visa. The me who was on the verge of tears burst out crying hearing that. In that mid of crowd that day at Portland International Airport, I had never felt so humiliated before. The thought had never even crossed my mind. I was speechless at the person’s comment.
The experience I had that day with FlighHub was horrid. I wished there was more clarity in communication as well as humanity. Nevertheless, my experience on that day was a chain of unanswered questions and just simply awful. I am a citizen of Vietnam and I go back and forth between the U.S. and Vietnam every year to visit my family. I earned my place fair and square with my university letter of acceptance as well as scholarship. It had never occurred to me that the inferiority of my country issued visa would make my existence unlawful. Would FlighHub treat other customers whose visa aren’t powerful enough to earn them the right to transit in certain countries without a visa the same as they had treated me? I wonder.
It is very sad of reading all below comments and observing that Flighthub is not taking any serious action to satisfy consumers. I have big ethical issues with the way flighthub is doing business: I just saw on my credit card statement that flighthub added USD16.95 charge that I do not understand why. Additionally I booked my ticket on Flighthub Canadian website and on the tope right it was Canada flag sign. My expectation was that all price are in CAD but surprised price came out in USD. I spent lot of time in talking to someone at Flighthub but no hope to understand how a Canadian company can behave like this. First, I encourage all to call their credit card and ask for cancellation of any unexpected fee unless if they accept to credit you. Second, there is rule of law here in Canada and we should not hesitate to take Flighthub to the court.

They charged me for a premium economy flight and insurance when I only selected economy and opted out of insurance.

Flight hub is the biggest rip off ever. Tell you one price charge a different then change again and charge the credit card again yet will not refund the money. Tried talking to customer service, asked for manager they refuse to let you speak to a manager then they hang up on you. Worst company and customer service I have ever seen or dealt with. Please do not ever use this company as I am out 1200 now.

Dealing with a Flight Hub representative was like talking to a new learner of English. It took over 30 minutes to clarify who I was, give my booking number, my phone number, and the last 4 digits of my credit number. I repeated this information to her again and again. All I wanted was to get seats on the return flight which she couldn’t give me because it was done by another department. Dealing with Flight Hub is a real turn off and I don’t think I would do this again.
It is oft said that you truly get what you pay for, and this is no truer than when dealing with Flighthub
No question, Flighthub often offers the lowest prices, but beyond granting the customer the privilege of using their website for a single transaction, they offer absolutely nothing.
We have been following flights for a multi-city two week journey in Australia, and last night received an email from Flighthub advising that the price for the itinerary we needed had dropped to an acceptable level, and as there were only seven seats left, the website told us we had to hurry…..so we booked it and paid for it.
1 hour and 22 minutes after receiving our online confirmation and receipt, Flighthub sent another email advising that the price had dropped yet again, that there were only seven seats left, and we had to hurry…
We contacted what Flighthub loosely refers to as their customer service, thinking that we could take advantage of the new lower price ($50 per ticket), given that it had dropped so soon after we booked. Flighthub initially suggested we cancel the existing reservation and rebook…they would charge us $150, leaving us spending $50 more in the end. Even after a lengthy discussion, Flighthub was unwilling to bend. We finally got to speak to a supervisor who took a somewhat different tack….he told us that we could not cancel our booking under any circumstances, and under no circumstances would Flighthub refund the difference or even meet us halfway.
Had the price dropped a day later, or more, I can understand Flighthub not wanting to assist….but, really…less than 90 minutes? And those big orange words “Only Seven Seats Left” and “Seats Limited” on both emails….this suggests to me that Flighthub is disingenuous at best, perhaps fraudulent at worst
It is clear too that Flighthub customer service staff are no doubt trained to be dismissive, condescending and unhelpful….it may have taken some of the sting out of the experience had I felt for a moment that the people I talked to weren’t reading verbatim from a script.
Our experience certainly mirrors what so many others have noted; I would hope that Flighthub takes heed and makes changes to their business model. Until they do, we certainly won’t use them again.
The experience is definitely very frustrating. Never book through flighthub again. There is no any record, each time the problem was not solved, and the agent even pretended to have bad signals and hanged up the phone. I want to change the returning flight, the airline agent said it’s changeable but I can only contact the flight to do that for me. The agent from flight first after confirmation offered me a price for the changing fee and asked for my permission to pay by my credit. Then 10 minutes on hold, I’m told the fee was wrong, and it is 5 times the price they first told me, which is even higher than rebooking a new flight. And things go back and force, then finally they just said the airline told them it’s non-changeable… all the time wasted for nothing. And their agents really didn’t treat customers properly, even rude.

We had an agent tell us they were located in the U.S. (found online–including at this site–that’s not true), and that they can’t waive a cancellation fee. See from this site that’s not true, also. Like you, they didn’t just lie to us, but after their site kicked out a wildly inaccurate itinerary (wrong *states* and wrong *month* for return flight) after we hit “confirm” (something I see others have complained about on other sites–especially yellow pages reviews), they put us on hold to say they’d spoken to a supervisor and could discount the fee. When we protested it was *their* mistake and we shouldn’t be charged, and (nonabusively) asked to speak directly to a supervisor, the rep just hung up on us. We are now waiting for the charge to come through (just happened last night–15-Mar-2018) to dispute it with VISA.
I am writing to you today to state that unfortunately, my recent experience was very negative and frustrating and time consuming.
I booked my flight back in June, 2017 for departure date of October 31, 2017. FlightHub sent me an email advising me of a change in the return flight. You initiated the change, not I. I returned your email numerous times and attempted to complete the confirmation/acceptance of the change but every single time, the process kicked me out. I then called not once, not twice, but three times and was with a representative an hour each time. All calls resulted in FlightHub stating my changes were confirmed and an email would come to me for boarding passes. NEVER did an email come.
I then called Air Canada (my appointed airline) and asked them if my change was there. They confirmed the new flight information was there but not that I was confirmed. My departure from Toronto went fine. It was when I was leaving Australia at the Melbourne Airport that my nightmare began. I arrived at the Melbourne Airport 2.5 hours prior to my departure and thank goodness I did. The airline had NO record of my new itinerary and stated that my flight did not leave until the next day!!! I had a connecting flight in Sydney that I had to catch and this was looking unlikely.
I cannot say enough about Virgin Australia as they spent 90 minutes assisting me and finally, after four representatives (including the Supervisor), they were able to get me onto a flight that was leaving in 20 minutes to make my connection in Sydney.
This low level of professionalism and customer service is very upsetting. I will NOT use FlightHub again. In fact, customer beware!
The customer service of Flight Hub is not of the same standard as their competitors. I was charged for a flight change that they have no record. I have been calling them for a refund, but they are requesting my credit card statement. They have my name an gender incorrect in their system which they cannot change unless I book another flight with them. Every time I call their helpline, end up spend 40-55 minutes, without any luck.

I’m incredibly disappointed with FlightHub. I booked a flight from Charlotte to Bangkok leaving October 31st and returning November 22nd. All I wanted to do was extend my return flight and your website didn’t work with 3 different credit and debit cards I tried. I called and spoke with 3 separate people for an hour to get this done. FlightHub charged me the $350 penalty fee and a $4.50 fare difference. My card was charged and I never got a confirmation email. Called back this morning and was told my flight was no longer available after speaking with several agents with FlightHub they said I cant get that fare at all on that day so I was disappointed and told them to just give me my old back… THEY CANCELLED IT and it sold out. So I paid $354.50 for FlightHub to cancel my flight and not give me a new flight. I’ve spent my whole day with 7 different supervisors and they all say “your only option is to buy a brand new ticket.” I’ve had to pay a ridiculous amount of money for my international calls to be put on hold for 90% of the time. I’m appalled and I’m angry. I come from a long line of lawyers and I will take legal actions if I need to. The employees I’ve spoken with are incompetent and do not know how to solve my problem but they also do not know who can help me with this problem. My reservation number is 073-482-792, please help me figure this out or I will do everything in my power to figure it out on my own.
Please get back to me as soon a possible as I am still stuck in Thailand and have no way to get home.

I wanted to let you know that I just spent an hour on the phone trying to understand WHY I was being charged $75 dollars to cancel a flight that I booked not 2 hours ago. My grandmother passed away and I booked a flight for my sister and I, but just found out that we can’t make that flight I had booked. I explained this to the woman on the phone, and she kept repeating that “This is our policy and there’s nothing we can do”. After further conversation she put me on hold for 10-15 minutes, came back and said, “I can charge you $50/person, that’s the best I can do, Jean”. First, my name isn’t Jean, she called me Jean throughout the duration of our conversation, secondly, that’s an unacceptable response to someone who has just lost their grandmother. I asked repeatedly to speak with her supervisor, she refused, and then put me on hold again for 10-15 minutes. Came back and said, the best she can do is $35/person to cancel. I grew upset, and demanded to speak with her supervisor. Finally, after being on hold AGAIN for another 10 minutes, I spoke to a supervisor who was no more helpful than her agent before her, I literally couldn’t take it anymore and just said to cancel my flight and charge me 25/person which was the “lowest amount” she could charge.
This was undoubtedly the worst experience I’ve ever had with customer service. You should be ashamed that someone grieving for their grandmother’s loss is forced to spend an hour on the phone with people who can’t give her a break.
Additionally, Expedia & Orbitz do not charge a cancellation fee to their customers within 24 hrs, so why do you? It’s outrageous. I plan on writing reviews regarding this treatment on any and every website I can.
I will never book through FlightHub again, and will be sure to discourage any friends or family from doing so in the future.
Your company is unethical, fraudulent and makes money from scamming the public with duplicate charges. Outrageous fees for cancellation (over 25% of the value of the ticket) and have a customer center of untrained people that routinely hang the phone on customers and refuse to do anything other than tell you to call later and refuse to refund the money you steal from your customers. Do not deserve to be in business

On 5/26/17 tried to call FlightHub customer support number (647) 689-2956.
It is the only type of communication they offer to customers and there is no information where this number will lead your call. Only after about 50 (!) Minutes of delay on the line, a lady responded, received details of my problem (my airline cancelled the flight to which I had tickets purchased at FlightHub.com) but could only confirm that I had to call to the airline company and informed that she may transfer me to them. The quality of communication was too bad to understand even 50% of what she said. The transferred communication wasn’t expected to be better and so, I ended this call after 70 minutes of being on the FlightHub customer support line with only one, really surprising result: My phone company has identified this phone call as international, to Canada, OH and charged me for this call for $34.30. So, I wasted not only my time but money! Does anyone else wants to try having deal with FlightHub.com???
Flight hub is a rip off company, don’t use them. Needed to change a ticket doe to work reasons and it was impossible. They are set up to take your money and give you no service. They charge a $40 cancel insurance fee for an Extended cancellation insurance that is good for 24 hours. 24 hours is extended???? The money you save for giving them the $40 is $75. Really?

I am BEYOND upset with how I have been treated by 3 of your phone staff!
I received an email this afternoon indicating that my booking that I processed on Sunday January 26th, 2017 was not able to be processed as it has been placed “on hold”.
I called immediately to the number indicated and I selected my appropriate options and a very rude agent took my call. She confirmed my information and indicated that yes in fact my account was placed on hold due to the fact that the “Airline has the right to increase fairs from time to time” I explained to her that I have never heard of this and in fact I disagree with this due to the fact that the day following I had booked another flight for my mother ” Rebecca Martin” on the same flight to & from and that I have her confirmation and e-ticket and that her rates were not increased. Over and over and over and over again she just kept repeating ” The airline has the right to increase fairs from time to time” when I insisted on speaking with a manager and reminded her that the call is being recorded where she’s stating she will not be transferring me to a manager she disconnected the call! I was extremely upset and completed a survey indicating this! (not that I really think this will help)
Then I called back again only to be met with ANOTHER rude and unhelpful agent (Cate,,, this is the name she gave me)! This time she didn’t respond to me asking for a manager over and over again….. I told her (into dead air) thats fine I’m not hanging up ….. 2 minutes later she came back and indicated that she will be placing me on hold to get a manager on the phone… a short time later she indicated that she had “Zion” on the phone her manager.
Zion- 1002-I explained to him my issue … of course apologized and indicated that he can not do anything as this is what the airline has issued. A price increase for my families ticket. When I asked him over and and over again why my mothers ticket wasn’t increased in price and he could confirm why this has happened. So when I asked to cancel all reservations and essentially take my money to another company he indicated that my mothers ticket was non-refundable. I explained we are flying out for a family vacation and that we need to travel with her for health issues and he explained that he cannot cancel her ticket… not even managers…. I then asked him “Zion are you not a manager?” “No i’m a supervisor” I said…. “I’m sorry but a this point I need to speak with a Manager” Has informed me that “managers do not take calls!” I explained that this is unacceptable and I need to speak with the appropriate person a manager…. he put me on hold for OVER 1 hour and 33 min!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE
I cannot believe how terrible I have been treated. We are sooooo upset! You took our money and then you jack up the price and you HIDE behind the line “Airlines have the right to change prices on flights” But you can’t explain to my WHY a family of 4’s tickets increase in price but a single ticket doesn’t! Is this how you make your money? By scamming families??? And forcing them to pay for additional charges AFTER BOOKING!!??????
It seems to me that you are a scam! The airline JUST now explained to me how you get your tickets for a lower cost… YOU BUY IN BULK…. You buy a certain amount of tickets at a discount they you mark them up with a profit.
YOU essentially control this price!

I WANT OUR FLIGHTS CANCELLED
For the past 10 years flying to Vienna with flighthub. I am looking for realy cheap fare not more then $ 850 return.You show prices in that range but one huge problem. Waiting up to 24 hours!!!! To sleep at airport or book hotel with possibly anothet $ 200 to $ 250 . That trip could cost over $ 1100 not suffering almost 1 day waiting. Then you advertise on same page flights witn one or 2 stops. Also direct flight,non stop for $ 1142. That is not true!!!!!! I went as far as $ 8000 and no direct flight listed. Before aprox 2 years ago I again purchased tickets advertized as direct flight. After paying for the ticket,I noticed it is not direct flight and if I wanted to change it,I would have to pay FEE for changing. I did not change it since the waiting was only a bit over 2 hours on bout ways. It is not fair to mislead like that Other time instead of waiting 2 hours,once i Poland a other one in Brusel I had to wait over 8HOURS because there was some problem with the aircraft,so called as the annouced. No reimbursement in some form from those airlines saying I must contact those people who sold ticket to me> After contactin sellers,I was told I must contact airlines not travel agency, Vicious circle and I gave up. I am 76 years old with not the best health and cant wait those hours at airports when about a month ago Austrian Airlines had tickets for over $ 1000 and direct. Please correct your advertisements like non stop flight to Vienna for # 1142!!!! I am getting lots of so called special deals from you to my e mail address but none is realy special. Omg same situation i cancel my flight last october 31,2016 and until now i don’t receive my refund. They keep on saying it’s under process but shit almost 3 months now!!!
Absolutely the worst customer service ever. We booked a flight, in which there was glitch in the system that changed our dates. We have been on the phone calling back for the 4th time as the reps have hung up on us and would not connect us to a manager. And now they want to charge us $800 to rebook our flight.

This is absolutely frustrating as we have been on the phone for the last hour trying to resolve the situation. The reps were rude, and attitude was not pleasant to deal with.
I will never book with Flight Hub again … I am gladly just throwing away my flight credit from a cancelled flight due to medical reasons … the headache going through their 800 line to rebook was a night mare – I had to call so many times because the agents would pass me onto another service agent; only one agent had enough English that I could understand what they were saying to talk but unfortunately he could not help me; the manager was beyond rude and unhelpful and I cannot say that the service was even borderline acceptable. Spend a few more dollars and book directly through the airlines and don’t waste the time I did with flight hub – If I would have been paid for the time I spent dealing with this company I could go on a luxury vacation headache free. The agents just read policies off a paper and cannot handle any other questions. Agree with other people, they make something so simple so difficult and as a customer you become so frustrated that it leaves negative energy in you for days – I can’t even look at their site any more and all the silly emails they send with their special rates that are not even real. It is a big game and one day they will have to close down because too many people have been turned off their service due to massive problems. Flight hub is the worst company to book through. I have been waiting on a refund since June 4. It I now November almost 6 months later and I still haven’t received anything. Every time I call they tell me the same thing every time. Call us back in 10 days or it will be here 4-6 weeks I’m done. Then being stupid I did try to rebook a different flight for someone else.
